Exceptional cottage, very comfortable with a lovely location and beautiful setting. Everything was just as described and the host provided excellent communication with directions and check in/check out instructions for our visit. The cottage is very close to the coast and convenient to several nearby towns. We would definitely recommend it.

Short stay before getting ferry

We had to book this late given the chaos in Holyhead. The property is so well laid out and comfortable. Also convenient to Fishguard when getting the ferry.

Lovely winter stay

Had a fantastic 4 night stay. Such a great spot, private and scenic.. We really enjoyed the local walk down past the waterfall to the beach. The alpacas were a pleasant surprise and Charlie was so lovely too. We hope to be back again later in the year to explore more!

Amazing as usual, we have stayed i think four times. Only one point, not able to let dog off lead in garden, other than that perfect!

Sorry you felt the dog had to be on a lead. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Dogs are allowed off the lead in the cottage garden. While walking through the yard and on the coast path dogs should be on a lead.

So relaxing…

Such a lovely relaxing and quiet place to stay. The Carthouse is very well equipped with everything you need. It is very cosy and so comfortable. It is furnished to a very high standard. The Alpacas at the end of the garden are a joy and Charlie the dog is so friendly. Lovely to sit in the garden on the bench watching all the birds too. Visited Newport Sands nearby which was lovely beach.

Carthouse

This was our second stay at the Carthouse and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The accomodation is ideal, with lots of space and room to relax, especially after long walks! The wine and chocolate was a lovely touch. Hope to return again!
