Perfectly situated to access the beach and headland or to simply watch the storms roll in from the warmth and comfort of the living room. A popular seaside town in North Cornwall, Bude is well known for its great beaches, unique townscape, exciting activities and fascinating maritime history, making it a perfect holiday destination for the whole family.
Summerleaze beach, a lovely sandy beach just minutes from the town centre, is a popular beach with surfers and families alike. The sea pool, nestled at the foot of the cliffs, is a real gem.
Bude has a range of shops, from national chain shops to a number of local independent artisans.
In addition to the main high street there are interesting local shops at the Lower wharf... Kernow Fleece making snuggly fleeced, Three Bees with innovative creative jewellery, The Studio with painting ‘ writing workshops.
With a number of activities to do locally including surf schools, canoeing, segway, rock pooling and horse riding. You can park up the car and not move it again or use the apartment as a base to visit The Eden Project, The Minnack Theatre, Rough Tor, The Milky Way Adventure Park, Adrenaline Valley and hundreds of other places.
Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club is roughly an 8 minute walk from the property.

Excellent food, great pubs & great restaurants on the doorstep such eg la Bouche Creole & The Beach , The Deck all situated on Summerleaze Crescent. Elements, Mama Bears, The Bank (tapas).

A walk along the canal path to The Weir. Pubs- Bullers Arm, Preston Gate Inn, The Bencoolen, The Brendon and pubs in the surrounding area... The Cobweb (Boscastle), Rydon Inn (Holsworthy ), The Smithy (welcome)

In Padstow Rick Stein & Jamie Oliver ‘s Fifteen along the coast, Nick Rhodes in Plymouth.

And on the lazy days The Mirchi or Bay Leaf Indian restaurants, The Tasty Plaice (fish & chips... home cut chips) offer delivery as do the very excellent La Bocca Pizza (restaurant & take away).

What a beautiful apartment with outstanding views!The kitchen was very well equipped (not that we did any cooking). Would of given it a 5 star but the beds were a bit soft for us, so not a great night sleep but very one have different preferences.Loved the old fashioned lift!Elements restaurant has a great option for Gluten-free and the food was very tasty

Spacious modern with spectacular views!

The accommodation was lovely such wonderful views across Summerleaze and over to Crocklets beach - the lounge window was our favourite place to be! Beds were really comfy and so much space - for a family of 5 it worked really well!

Excellent apartment & location

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Westcliff, the apartment was spotlessly clean, very well equipped with quality furnishings, comfortable beds and lovely linen. The view was fantastic and just a short walk to the beach, canal and many restaurants and shops. We are very happy to highly recommend this apartment.

Great apartment with parking a bonus

This is a really nice apartment with good amenities, very convenient location for the town. Excellent views across to the beaches and sea.We did have one issue with the property that there was no hot water, when contacting the owner, it had been turned off, once switched on all was okay. Contacting the owner was easy.

Bude Revisited

This property is light, airy comfortable and clean. The view is breathtaking and the location is central for everything, bars restaurants and supermarket. There is everything you could need in the apartment and we will definitely be booking again.

Fabulous Property

This was our third stay at this property and as our previous stays this one lived up to our expectations. The property really is in a prime location with great views and access to the beaches. The property itself is very clean and tidy, arrival and entry is trouble free. We would thoroughly recommend this property.

Lovely apartment in a lovely area.

The apartment is 5 stars. So comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a family of 4. The sea pool is great and the beach too. Very short walk to both. The canal is beautiful and has rowing boats and pedalos with some lovely cafes and shops. The main shops are within walking distance too.

The perfect apartment and location

Had an amazing time at Bude for three nights with my elderly parents, my sister and niece. Apartment is fantasticly situated with stunning views and incredibly spacious and comfortable. Couldn't have been better equipped and enabled us to self-cater easily every night. Great to have the lift for my parents. Highly recommend the apartment.

Proper sea view, so close to the sea and sea pool, restaurants walking distance. accommodation was perfect for myself my husband and my older mother. beds cozy, with crisp white linen. Everything you could need in a holiday apartment but also no clutter. This accommodation would suit a couple of any age and young family. Perfect , we will definitely recommend it.

Wonderful, from start to finish

We arrived to find a beautiful, spacious and very clean apartment. The view from the front windows of the apartment was wonderful, especially at sunset! The kitchen was well equipped, the owner was very helpful with a query we had and the beds were very comfy. Definitely a home from home, we hope to come back another time. Thank you!

Stylish and scenic delight

A simple but stylish and comfortable apartment with wonderful views over Bude Bay ideally located to walk into the town centre and supermarket or access the nearby sea pool, surf and both of Bude's beaches. There are walks a plenty across the beaches at low tide or over the headlands when the tides up. The apartment is well equipped with easy wifi access and a good size Smart TV in the lounge and one in the main bedroom. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for another stay. Thank you.

We had a wonderful 10-day stay at this apartment in Bude. The location is outstanding – just a few minutes’ walk from Summerleaze Beach, close to great restaurants, and within easy reach of the town centre, which has everything you might need. The apartment itself is spacious, filled with natural light, and offers stunning views of the sea.A few small things to be aware of: guests are asked not to use the washing machine in the apartment but instead the shared machine in the courtyard at an additional cost. With young children we found this a little inconvenient, though it may not be an issue for everyone. Recycling facilities are also limited, so we made a few trips to the local Sainsbury’s recycling points, and we had some difficulty locating the allocated waste bin outside at the end of our stay. Lastly, while the apartment was generally clean, a slightly more thorough check would have made it feel spotless on arrival.Overall, though, this is a lovely place to stay, with unbeatable views, a fantastic location, and very comfortable beds that made it easy to relax and enjoy our holiday.

Amazing holiday flat with wonderful beach view

The flat is located very close to the sea, we had a wonderful stay here in Bude during summertime. Everything is very close, you need no car to get anywhere in Bude, you always can walk. There is so much to see and to do in Cornwall and Devon. Thanks a lot. The flat is well equipped, esp. TV and internet and kitchen. We as Germans only missed the coffee machine:-) It was not quite cheap but it was the money worth absolutely. We felt very well in the flat and in Bude and we also loved the ancient lift (we felt like in an old movie). So again many thanks for all.

A Beautiful Getaway!

We spent a week in this Bude apartment and it couldn't have been lovelier. Spacious, bright (almost too bright, thank goodness for blackout curtains!), and the perfect location. The views were breathtaking and we loved hearing the sea. We had 5 adults, all with plenty of room. The master bedroom is very large, while the other two rooms were smaller but more than adequate. The kitchen was well equipped, and it was just minutes to Sainsburys. The only issue (and it was not a big issue) we had was parking. While you have a dedicated space, which is wonderful, if you have a larger car it can at times be difficult to get it out of the lot due to the locals parking (to get to the beach) along the very narrow street out front. However, this would in no way be a deterrent to us staying there again! We had a wonderful stay!

Excellent property throughout out, the sea view is breathtaking and you can sit there and just watch the world go by.This is our second stay at this property, and it maintains its high rate of cleanliness. Communication with the owner was easy too through the VRBO application. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

My family has grown and we have taken over an old farmhouse .

Why they chose this property

Fantastic views and location close to town. Park the car in the private car park and never use it again if you wish.
Pretty glib to say but in truth its hard to replace the freedom and interest of being able to walk out and enjoy the expanse of the ocean and the interest of an independent town. A few chain shops have crept in but still many independent and interesting shops.

A choice of restaurants to cover all tastes and budgets.

What makes this property unique

There is no better place to watch the sunset or the weather coming in over the sea, a short stroll across the headland to the beach or into town for a fabulous meal. Step next door for a cocktail or meal.
If your lucky enough to have a storm out over the sea with lightening my goodness is that a thing!

Shut a short step along the headland to the world famous Bude sea pool and the North Cornwall coast path. Several Golf clubs nearby, paddle boarding, surfing, segway, horse riding
