Relaxing holiday

Had a great holiday in villa (5 ladies annual trip). This is the second time i have stayed in villa and first time for other ladies. Great location to bars and restaurants in Kalamar and supermarkets (5 min walk). Kalkan Town 20 minute downhill walk or Taxi only £3.50 each way. Swimming pool and terrace perfect for a lovely relaxing holiday. Villa has everything you need for a great holiday

I have recently stayed at Villa Dilara with 7 members of my family and had the most amazing time! Beautiful setting with views over the kalamar bays ! The Villa was perfect for our stay, large kitchen with everything you’d need if you do want to cook ,large living area with the essential air con , plenty of dining seating inside and out on the terrace! Good size pool! My only criticism for us was not enough shaded areas as it was extremely hot and the pool area/terrace is in full sun all day , maybe a few more parasols or extend the area where the sofas are ! The boys loved the table tennis and pool tables! The bedrooms large , bright and ample storage space and good en-suites! It’s about a 25minute walk into Kalkan but advisable to get a taxi back as very steep hills coming home ! Kalkan is a beautiful , old town full of amazing restaurants and bars , and lovely shops but ladies don’t wear heels with the hills and cobbled streets it could be dangerous I would recommend Villa Dilara for a large group of friends or family to have an amazing holiday! I’ve been three times to Kalkan and kept nagging the family to go , and they all loved it there ,and the villa was the icing on the cake they had the best time and all want to go back! Sharon was our go to if we had any problems or requests and she was brilliant and such a lovely lady along with her husband ! She organised a brilliant day on a boat for us as we had a birthday while there and it was a day to remember !

Fabulous Villa

The Villa certainly lived up to our expectations, it’s amazing! I would highly recommend the Villa for large families or groups of friends. There is loads of space on the patio area by the pool. The views from the roof terrace are amazing. It was great having sundowners from there. Deniz met us on arrival and was always able to help when needed. The location was central for Shopping and eating out locally. I certainly enjoyed starting my 60th birthday celebrations at Villa Dilara. Thank you Felix!

Great property perfectly located

Villa Dilara is a beautiful new 5 bedroom property located on the hill above the coast. 5 minute walk to the nearest quiet restaurant/ bar and a small supermarket. 5-10 minute walk to the sea. The rooms are large and airy, most with balconies, the pool is a nice size and the sun deck spacious. The games room (near full size snooker table and full size table tennis table) is fab for the kids to get out of the sun and for the grown ups to get competitive in the evenings. All in all villa, people and place are amazing. Kalkan felt very friendly and safe and would definitely return next year.

Excellent villa just looking a bit tired now

Villa was an excellent size for our party of 9. Area of villa is a bit crowded with other villas pretty close ,and some more being build right in front villa. You need to get taxis into town, but plenty of restaurants and small supermarkets nearby. Villa has plenty of facilities to entertain children . Showers in bathrooms need updating, and a link of paint needed to freshen up rooms especially in annexe down stairs. If you are looking for a chilled out break with facilities nearby it is ideal.

Absolutely beautiful villa with stunning views. Perfect location not far from the town. Within walking distance to shop and some smaller restaurants. Kalkan is such a beautiful place to go on holiday!Host great at communicating quickly, his property manager Sharon and her husband are absolutely amazing, Sharon went above and beyond when my husband was unwell, personally took him to the health centre, delivered more medication in the evening, constant check in’s. Will definitely be returning!

Excellent location great hol… just needs some tlc

Firstly Kalkan is beautiful. But it is VERY hilly. I wouldn’t want to be pushing a push chair around or have little kids at a lot of the villas. However, villa dilara was so close to lots of brill bars and restaurants (5 min walk even for little legs) and a supermarket that didn’t require any climbing at all… so perfect if you have kiddies. The villa itself was a really good size. Massive rooms and massive comfy beds. Wi-Fi was great in the main rooms and main bedrooms but none on the top floor or roof terrace unfortunately. That actually benefited us as we had younger kids upstairs… so they weren’t tempted online at early hours!!! We did feel the villa needed some TLC but it didn’t spoil the holiday. We spent a lot of time at beach clubs in and around Kalkan which were amazing… especially Zest. Kalkan Town is buzzing and is a short taxi drive away (really easy and cheap to get cabs) The addition of a little local tariff mobile phone at the villa was really appreciated to book cabs and restaurants. We also really loved the addition of the Wii… family mario kart competitions were had!! Great communication from Felix throughout… and flexibility when Covid got in the way!!! Thank you Felix… We loved Kalkan and will be back:-)

Fantastic villa

Having never been to Turkey let alone Kalkan, we were taking a punt on staying in Villa Dilara for a month! As it turned out, we couldn’t have made a better choice. The villa was perfect for the needs of my young family and guests we had visit during our stay. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well equipped. The villa is maintained to a higher standard and any minor issues or requirements you may have are dealt with promptly by the excellent maintenance team. The location is good with some great restaurants close by as well as a beach club a short distance away. The walk to town centre is about 15-20mins (carrying babies/small children) but the taxi’s are cheap and readily available. Kalkan itself has the most genuinely friendly people I have ever met. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can see why so many people return year after year.

Wonderful large Villa with Stunning Views

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday in Kalkan and found Villa Dilara to be a wonderful place to stay. Felix made the whole booking procedure very easy and was extremely helpful with resort information and also arranged our private taxi transfer. The villa is of a very high standard and was very clean. The master bedroom was vast in size, with an enourmous comfortable bed and this and the other double on the first floor share a spacious balcony with breathtaking views over Kalamar bay, great for having a coffee in the morning. The children loved the games room, which was great when they wanted some chill time, out of the sun. The outside area is lovely, with plenty of loungers and the pool was kept immaculately clean throughout our stay. The villa was in a great location and the Beach club was less than a 10 minute walk down the hill. The whole family loved it down there as there is something for everyone, watersports, sea trampoline, pedloes, kayaks and a nice restaurant with drinks service to your sun lounger. They even give you a lift home at the end of the day, if you don't fancy the walk back up the very steep hill. There are 3 small supermarkets within a short walk and we found the Can Can to be the best stocked. They offer a delivery service which is brilliant when you have alot of heavy bags to carry back in the heat. The town and harbour are also within walking distance and I would say it takes about 20 to 25 minutes at a leisurely pace, although if you prefer to get a taxi, these are very cheap and you can ring for one easily and never have to wait long. There are some superb restaurants, our favourites were Baharat in the town and Gusto at the harbour. If you fancy staying closer to home, there are also restaurants only a couple of minutes walk from the villa. The House restaurant is only about 100 yards and is particularly good. We also got takeaway from here one evening after we'd had a busy day out on a trip, which was great. If you fancy some trips out, I would definitely recommend booking through Yasin at Volume Travel. He is the most friendly and helpful guy and nothing was too much trouble for him. Overall Villa Dilara is fabulous place to stay and we will certainly look at returning when we next visit Kalkan. Vila Dilara, Kalamar, Kalcan

Fantastic villa with wonderful views across Kalamar and the bay. Facilities within the villa were excellent, and the games room was a huge benefit over the two weeks that we stayed as it provided an excellent sanctuary from the heat for an hour or so a day....especially for the kids. The pool is perfectly sized and very well maintained on a daily basis. Although outside from the main centre of Kalkan, the location of the villa proved excellent because there are numerous friendly and family owned restaurants and bars nearby...and the walk into the two in the evening is actually an enjoyable 20-25mins or so.

Dream Villa

Our family had a fantastic 2 week stay at Villa Dilara and we totally agree with everything that has been written in previous reviews. The facilities and layout of the villa were perfect for our family of 11 ranging in age from 8 to 66. We had fun times at the pool, on the terrace and in the games room and quiet times on the balconies and roof terrace. My husband and I have holidayed in various properties in Kalkan annually for the last 15 years and we can honestly say that this was by far the best. We usually stay closer to the village but we loved the location in Kalamar - quiet and peaceful but with restaurants, bars, shops and beach club close by and still within walking distance of the village (though we mostly got taxis back up the hill at a very reasonable price). We all have wonderful happy memories of our stay at Villa Dilara and would recommend it most highly.

Fabulous Family Property

We recently stayed at Villa Dilara in Kalamar Bay as a group. This property has the 'wow' factor and we likened it to a small hotel! The property is contemporary, airy, very clean and well equipped. Finished to a very high spec. The infinity pool was beautiful and tended by the 'pool guy' every day. He even brought us milk and bread each day (additional cost) which was lovely. The games room is a great bonus for days when it it particularly hot or chilled out evenings. The locals in Kalkan are very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. We would not fault anything about this wonderful villa and the owner Felix was extremely helpful answering our numerous questions before our holiday. Thank you for our precious memories at Villa Dilara!

Heavenly Decadent Blissful Luxurious & Peaceful

These are the words my fellow holiday-ers used to describe their experience at Villa Dilara. The villa was everything we expected and more. The inside and outside space is magnificent. The view is stunning from every part of the property. The service was faultless and maintained perfectly during our stay which was a pleasant surprise. We thought that the location was one of the best - quiet - but yet close to everything. If you can detach yourself from the pool there is a few minute walk to Kalamar Beach Club which is very decently priced for the hire of sun loungers and water sports. They even provide a free pick up and lift back home. A few cute restaurants are just a few minutes away for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Café Vita offered a BBQ, buffet & live music on a Weds night. The local supermarket (5 mins walk) offers to deliver your shopping and Kalkan town is a short cab ride away. Everything that might seem important (like the last bottle of wine) is accessible within a short distance. The games room downstairs was an added bonus with a pool and table tennis table. We loved the luxurious and spacious feel of the villa and we had the happiest time there. We would highly recommend Villa Dilara to anyone and this is a review from four fussy Germans (one who currently works in Hotel & Catering Management)!

Fantastic Villla Dilara

Just returned home after spending a great two weeks at this Villla The description of the Villla and location was just as described, the property was very clean and well looked after by the maintenance team nothing seemed to be to much trouble. The people in Kalkan were great very friendly and not at all pushy ,we had two teenage girls with us and no problems with the locals . All the boat trips and excursions were well organised and good value for money although you may have to haggle a bit to get the best deal .All the restaurants and bars we visited in the area of the Villa and in Kalkan were good to very good The owner was very easy to talk to and always ready with advice if needed. Would recommend this Villa to anyone with a large family who would like a nice peaceful holiday
