Wonderful stay

The apartment is situated behind the market and overlooking one of the canals. Breakfast on the balcony was a real treat as was sitting there people watching in the evening. Location brilliant to visit many medieval villages as well as busier areas like St Tropez. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would not hesitate to come back.

The apartment is in a great location, central but quiet, with great views of the canals. It is fully equipped and very comfortable. We got all the info from the owners and from the lady who welcomed us. Residents' parking very convenient as the place is quite full in August.Overall our short holiday was great.

Terrific little apartment right in the centre of Port Grimaud with a balcony overlooking the canals, literally 50 yards from the town market place yet not noisy. A fantastic place and fabulous holiday

Grimaud apartment

The most perfect position with a delightful balcony, although the decor is a little dated do not let this out you off. All you need is provided and you could not be in a better position. Does get very hot without air con but electric fans are provided. Highly recommended and will stay there again.

Apartment with great view and central location, but quiet at night

The apartment of Stephen and Mary is located in a central location of Port Grimaud, just behind the main square (Place du Marche' ). The balcony is right above the canals and bridges allowing you to watch the passage of boats and tourists who admire the area (the bridge just below us was the subject of continuous 'poses' for souvenir photos ...). The collection of the keys took place successfully and we greatly appreciated being autonomous in accessing the apartment without intermediaries. Everything was where it was written to us that it had to be, the instructions were very detailed, we just didn't understand which was the resident parking pass (.. it's the long card with the hook at the end ...). We didn't get in the car to unload the luggage: on Saturday there are a lot of people and we had doubts because of the car and the narrow and high bridges to cross, but there was no problem: the visitors' parking is free for the first half hour, so we could park temporarily there, enter the house, retrieve the pass and park the car in the resident parking lot ... Since the apartment is centrally located, everything you need is close at hand: restaurants, small shops, a small supermarket right next to the church ... Towards Saint Tropez there is a very large supermarket (Geant Casino'). Attention there is always a lot of traffic towards Saint Tropez ... The 'grand plage' is within walking distance, while the 'petit plage' can be reached by the 'bateau' (note: the right one for the pass that is in the house is the 'bateau' black ...). You can indulge yourself in visiting the beautiful villages in the interior of the area (Ramatuelle, Gassin, Grimaud, ...) or the beautiful beaches nearby or even more distant .... we stayed at the beautiful Cap Taillat unfortunately remained victim of a bad fire in the past, but still fantastic! We also walked a lot from the Grand Plage of Port Grimaud through the nearby campsites and on the beach towards Saint Maxime. We also walked on a part of the famous 'Sentier du littoral' starting from Tahiti Plage up towards Saint Tropez with beautiful sea views ... In short, having as a point of support this house with its particularity and comfort, the things to see, visit, do ... are many and close at hand. Gute Lage für Ausflüge entlang des Mittelmeers unter anderem kurzer Bootstransfer nach Saint Tropez.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen mit den Annehmlichkeiten: Frühstück auf dem Balkon, zu Fuß zum Strand und abends im Restaurant einkehren oder den Abend auf dem Balkon mit Blick auf den Kanal ausklingen lassen.

Traumurlaub!

Wir kannten Port Grimaud schon einige Jahre. Aber diesmal in diesem wunderbar gelegenen Quartier mitten im Zentrum von Port Grimaud zu wohnen, mit diesem herrlichen Blick auf den Kanal mit den Booten, dem langen Balkon über beide Zimmer und der sehr liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung machten diesen Urlaub zu einem Erlebnis besonderer Art. Mitten im Zentrum und doch sehr ruhig, hätten wir uns keine bessere Lage vorstellen können. Auch die Organisation, mit Schlüsselübergabe und Parkplatzmöglichkeiten waren bestens. Von der Buchung bis zum Beginn des Urlaubs war ein netter Kontakt zu Stephen und Maria vorhanden.

Schöner Urlaub

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und ist trotzdem ruhig. Die Aussicht vom Balkon haben wir sehr genossen. Alle Geschäfte und auch der Strand sind einfach zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Parkplatzsituation ist gut geregelt und auch das Ausladen des Gepäcks vor der Wohnung war problemlos. Die Kommunikation hat hervorragend geklappt.

Gezellige locatie mooi uitzicht

We hebben het heerlijk gehad. Super locatie , wel gedateerd , maar alles was aanwezig. Prachtig uitzicht echt genieten. Balkon iets te smal om met drie personen te kunnen ontbijten buiten. Dat was een beetje behelpen maar zou het zo weer boeken.

Emplacement idéal

Appartement très bien situé avec une vue imprenable, tout confort (la climatisation serait un plus) et très propre. Les boutiques et restaurants au pied du logement, la mer à 200 m, bref on fait tout à pied. Un agréable séjour, nous reviendrons.

Bel emplacement

L'appartement est idéalement situé au coeur de Port Grimaud à proximité des commerces du marché. Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir profiter des bateaux qui circulent sur les canaux et du parking grâce à la carte résidents. Belle attention du propriétaire à notre arrivée. Nous avons passé un très beau séjou. Je conseille aux propriétaire d'alléger les notes explicatives car au final une personne nous attend pour tout nous donner et nous expliquer.

Uitstekende locatie

Het appartement was klein en heel erg vol met spullen van eigenaar. Bedbank in woonkamer was erg vuil en niet het comfortabele bed wat we hadden verwacht. Gelukkig was er een wasmachine die het weer schoon kreeg. Geen wifi en erg slechte internet verbinding in het gebouw. Echter is de locatie zo perfect dat je alle oncomfortabelheden vergeet. Port Grimaud is echt heel leuk!

Good Morning Robert, Thank you for your comments. We are very sorry for your disappointment by the size of the apartment, but hope the fantastic views from the balcony, with its 2 sets of French doors from the bedroom/lounge compensated a bit. The dirty sofa bed cover is NOT acceptable. The previous client did not leave it well, so glad the washing machine cleaned it, but we will pursue with our manager. Also the sofa bed itself. Up to now most comments have been complimentary. Regarding the lack of wifi/internet (which is advertised as not available),there is a blind spot for reception, but we will again investigate this further. Regarding any excess stuff, apologies if upsetting. Some tourist info, books, etc is deliberately left for clients, in a cupboard, and other utensils, for possible usage. Obviously there is a separate private cupboard, for our usage, but there should be no encroachment on your overall stay. So we are very pleased that the location of the apartment did compensate generally for any inconveniences. Apologies again for any upset. Unfortunately Covid has setback our latest personal visit.
