The cottage was very cosy and clean and we felt very much at home there. There are fabulous walks nearby An issue we had was dealt with promptly. We were happy with our short visit and wish we could have stayed longer.

Winters cottage is an absolute dream. My family and I visited over christmas and it came out to be the best christmas we’ve ever had. The area is quiet, with nature trails and monuments not too far away, the cottage itself was clean, stocked with everything you need, and incredibly cozy. The owner kept up consistent communication with me for months before our stay and was nothing but kind, warm and welcoming. We will absolutely be visiting again, and couldn’t recommend this location more

Idyllic Countryside Cottage

We just finished our family holiday, staying 5 nights. The cottage was exactly as described, everything needed was provided. Kitchen has all the pots, pans, utensils needed. The beds are very comfortable and clean. Fiona has been a fantastic host, very responsive, friendly and provided us with a lot of information. The garden is amazing, fantastic for the kids to play, with amazing views over the fields and loads of birds to listen to. We had beautiful weather during our stay but the cottage has two log burners which would have been great on rainy days.The only thing we were surprised with was the history of the cottage, an old post office, we loved the pictures of the Winter's family who used to run it. We could tell that Winters Cottage is a much treasured family home that is being shared with us. Thank you very much.

Beautiful cottage! In a lovely serene spot in the countryside.

Our visit to the cottage was wonderful! Was super clean, and very well stocked. The host provided lots of tips of what activities to do near the cottage as well as great food recommendations. I would definitely love to come back one day.

Winter break

We spent a lovely few days at the end of December. The owner was really thoughtful and gave some excellent previsit advice. The setting was beautiful and we loved sitting by the fire after some lovely walks, feeling cosy and snug.
