Perfect little cottage

Lovely cottage

We had a really lovely few days staying at Gardeners cottage. Excellent location for doing nice dog walks and visiting the local villages. Went to a few lovely places for good food and coffee and visited the amazing farm shops with the best tasting strawberries!

Birnie House Cottage

A lovely property, would recommend to anyone. Super friendly hosts that make your stay welcoming and a home away from home. The welcome treats and all the special touches throughout made this stay one to remember.

A lovely cottage in Perthshire.

A great central location for east central Scotland, both Perthshire and Angus counties. Many historical sites within 60 minutes. Great golfing too.

Birnie Cottage

Birnie cottage is in a great location. Close enough to civilisation but peacefull at the property. The cottage is immaculate with a great private enclosed garden. The owners Bob and Aileen are fantastic hosts, welcoming and friendly. We will stay here again.

Birnie Cottage

Lovely clean and comfortable cottage situated in great location.

Description of the cottage is very accurate. Rental process was very easy and straightforward. Owners stay in house next door, but are discreet and extremely kind and helpful. We rented this cottage for the Jubilee weekend and had such a wonderful time helped by some outstanding weather!

Location location and location

The perfect accommodations for our visit to experience the real and true Scotland countryside? Aileen and Bob were very welcoming and so very helpful in guiding our ins and outs of being visitors and making our stay more like being new neighbors. Lovely Break

Cottage was warm and clean and comfortable. Host was lovely and helpful. Very peaceful surroundings in quiet countryside, lots of wildlife and birds to see. Also lots of things to do in nearby places. Lovely walks in woods immediately beside cottage, great for dogs if you have them.

Excellent base to explore the area

We enjoyed our stay at this property as it was an excellent base to explore the beautiful surrounding area, also the property boasts surrounding woodland with lovely walks and it was so nice to watch the squirrels and birds at the feeders around the garden. The property itself is charming and spotlessly clean with everything you need to enjoy your stay and if there is anything you don't have the superb hosts Aileen and Bob will be only too pleased to help out. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in this beautiful part of Scotland.

Birnie Cottage

Had a lovely stay at Birnie Cottage, Aileen was a very welcoming host. The extra treats were a lovely touch especially the scones with butter and jam waiting on arrival. Was lovely watching the wildlife around the cottage, red squirrel and woodpeckers outside the kitchen window. Altogether a very pleasant place to stay.

Amazing

Happy visit

A tidy little house, neat and clean with everything you can need, and welcoming owners nearby. Lovely scones and jam on arrival. Near to Kirriemuir and local places. Red squirrel and bird feeder outside kitchen window are great to watch and nice garden to sit in.

Just what we wanted

The property was excellent and served the purpose well for what we wanted to do. Comfortable for 2 adults 1 teenager and 2 dogs. Wildlife around the property was a amazing and the owners we very friendly and faves us some of there time. Will definitely be returning..

Excellent and very well equipped. Perfect for dog owners.

Everything was perfect and the location was ideal for dog owners. We were there with our Labrador Jak for the Canix competion at Glamis castle. The cottage is very well equipped for self catering and has everything you could possible want. Lovely location with the woods and walks immediately at the back of the cottage. Bob and Aileen are very friendly and helpful hosts and they have two lovely friendly dogs.

Lovely Cottage - Ideal Location

Lovely cottage with everything you could need. Aileen and Bob were brilliant and happy to assist with local information. Lovely treats on arrival with fresh scones and cheese. Brilliant walks from the back gate thoroughly enjoyed by my 2 cocker spaniels with access to footpath galore. Will return again when next in the area.
