The flat was perfect for our stay in Winchester and commutes to London. The ability to wash our clothes was a bonus. Hopefully we will make it back to Winchester and stay at the same location.
Great tidy place with private parking a short walk to town centre
The property was easy to find, and instructions clear for parking and entry. The property was clean and comfortable. Private parking was great. The easy short walk into town made it easy to explore the city, and also central to explore the local area into New Forest and Portsmouth.
Lovely, bright and cosy apartment around 10 minute walks to shops, Winchester Cathedral and restaurants. Stocked with everything we needed for our stay and generous treats from the hosts. Off street parking an added bonus!
Great little apartment. It’s in a fantastic location within easy walking distance of all attractions and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Easy communication with owners.
A well-designed and comfortable apartment, conveniently located close to shops and only 10 minutes walk from the station. Although on a busy road, Flat 4 is well-insulated from noise as it is tucked round the corner. A well-equipped kitchen and a large bedroom. Although it was very hot throughout our stay it was easy to regulate the internal temperature and light using the skylight.
This property was evrything you could wish for.
Very central and surprisingly quiet. Shops are a short walk away.
Lovely and warm, clean and comfortable, well equipped. Easy off road parking which is a bonus in Winchester.
Lovely apartment in a great location for Winchester centre.
A well appointed apartment with everything you might need; comfortable bed, all kitchen equipment including a dishwasher, good wi-fi and off-street parking all within 5 mins walk from the high street.
Very clear communication with the owner. Would highly recommend the Garden Apartment.

Thank you, we are glad you enjoyed staying and would welcome you back anytime!
Apartment was easy and quick to get to and close to everything. Inside it was nicely equipped and very clean. Access instructions were clear but we never saw owner. Negative aspect was how small unit was, especially for the price. Smallest apt by half of 5 we rented and second most expensive.
We travel frequently to the UK and each time we settle into a new city and explore the area in depth. This time we chose Winchester, and we could not be more delighted with our choice. This property suited us perfectly. We only use public transportation and we were just a few blocks from the train and bus stations. We could easily walk to grocery stores and bakeries for our meals or we could choose from MANY fine restaurants. The property was soooooo quiet, the bed was very comfortable, we loved having modern appliances and access to great tv stations. We felt the rental rate was very fair and, overall, great value for money. The owners respond quickly to requests and were very good communicators during the booking process. I would certainly recommend this property!

Clean, well maintained and perfect for holiday.
Property was impressively clean and maintained over the whole period of two months of my stay. The owners are very attentive to every need of the lodgers.
I would warmly recommend both the property and the landlords to any future lodgers. Just some other benefits I enjoyed during my stay are: first class casual basis gym (New Energy) just 100m away from the property, midtown market at the door step, view from a door step on a medieval church, river and park in the background of the property. Winchester by the way has the best restaurants in England and services at those restaurants are superb. Especially can recommend brassiere Blanc. Winchester cathedral, churches and castles are well known, but I was personally impressed with the fact that Jane Austen is Winchester's own and has a place in the cathedral.
Stayed in the garden flat for 5 nights. Clean, light and surprisingly spacious for a small flat. Had everything we needed and a quick 5 minute walk to the town centre. Parking at the rear and instructions for gate codes etc were spot on. Had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend. Lovely touch with the milk, biscuits etc. thank you
A small, but well equipped flat, with parking. It is close to the centre of Winchester and Winnall Moors Wildlife Reserve. A short walk to the Weirs, the High Street or the Cathedral. And a longer walk to the Viaduct or St Cross. On-line listing shows a washer/drier, but it is only a washer.

Feedback
Disappointed that it was not more like the pictures on the website.
The shower room needed an update and so did the kitchen. We felt it was expensive for what we got. We ate out in pub gardens because the kitchen was so small, so didn't cook. My husband made the comment that we could have stayed at the Hotel du Vin for less (if it had been open!!)
Having said that the position was great - we could walk to most places that we wanted to go. It was also great to be able to park off the road (apart from the birds making a terrible mess on the car! But that happens in most cities. ) We also appreciated the quick response both times that we had a small problem. Thanks for having us, Viv

Thank you for your review - we were very surprised by your comments about the kitchen and the bathroom both of which have had a very recent refurbishment - the kitchen was completely replaced only last year and is fully equipped for eating in. We feel the rates we charge are extremely reasonable for a small one bedroom apartment which is what it is advertised as. These guests were staying in Flat 4. The photos on the website are for all 3 of our apartments so maybe these guests thought they were coming to Flat 1 which is different - the photos are clearly marked for each apartment though.
Good central location of nice ground floor flat with garden area.
Good sized bedroom, dining/kitchen/sofa bed area only big enough for two guests. Well equipped kitchen. We ate out all the time as we gather most people do. A bit noisy especially when raining on skylights.

Thank you for your review, sorry if the rain on the velux windows disturbed you, otherwise this apartment is completely quiet.
We hope to welcome you back another time if you are visiting Winchester.
I had a lovely stay in this property, the location is very central yet quiet with the town centre a short walk in one direction and parks, rivers and nature reserves in the other. The little outdoor courtyard is a gorgeous sun trap & the apartment is spacious and has all the amenities you need. Caroline was very prompt with all communication and the stay was incredibly easy.
Compact but comfortable flat with patio door from bedroom into small courtyard garden. The unit we stayed in was on back of the property so no road noise. Very convenient for walking most places in Winchester. Small Sainsbury’s within 5 min walk.
Caroline was very responsive to any questions or if any issues arose. Would highly recommend staying here.
