What a fun place to stay. The decor is whimsical meets retro and we loved it. The location was perfect for our visit to Yosemite National Park. It is quiet and off the beaten path, clean and comfortable. The host was helpful and responsive. PS -We appreciated having a blender available. Thank you.
We went to the area to lay my father-in-law to rest. The stay at this Vrbo was so peaceful and quiet it was easy to relax and the place was spotless. Thank you for everything!!!
Property was superb and the host was very accommodating. Everything went smooth I had no issues to speak of and I can't wait to be back to Yosemite....I sure hope this place is available when I return. Thanks Jim!

Great stay!
Overall, everything was fantastic. House is a little dusty but I would say it’s part of the appeal. Jim is an excellent communicator he gave us great recommendations of things we could do with our little ones. It’s a little off the beaten path, but that also might be considered a plus. All in all it was great, and we would stay here again.
Jim the owner has set his place up beautifully. There wasnt anything we needed that wasnt there. Lots of lovely art and nick nacks throughout. I wanted to move in permanently 😕
We have been here several times...the absolute best part is the peace and quiet this place affords. No traffic noise and no people noise...just birds and a few nearby farm animals. Rarely do you even hear (or see) a person. The place is not fancy, but it is cozy!! (If you do miss traffic, Yosemite Valley is just 50 miles away).
Great place and experience! The only negative I can think of was that driving time was farther to/from Yosemite than we initially thought, but that certainly wasn't Jim's fault. On the other hand, wonderful to be quiet and away from activity. We very much enjoyed the space, house, property. And we saw several deer! Thanks
This cabin is indeed at the end of a well-maintained dirt road...no traffic. The road is only about 1 1/2 miles long off the highway. The closest neighbor is about 1000 feet away and that house is currently vacant (June 2024). Thus, in the evening and most of the day, there is 100% quiet. It's a great cabin to just sit on the porch, listen to nothing, and re-energize onself. And if you miss the noise and traffic congestion of the big city, you can drive to Yosemite Valley which is about 90 minutes away and experience it there!

Not one of our best experiences.
The home has ants especially in the master bathroom. Every time the furnace kicked on ants fell all over the vanity. We had to make sure all our bags were closed so ants wouldn't get in. Also in the end of the hall bedroom there were ants. They came home in my child's clothes. The overall cleanliness could be improved. Jim was very gracious to us. We left early and we let him know and he refunded us money for the days we didn't stay even though we were not expecting that. That was very kind.
Hier erwartet euch eine sehr große und gut ausgestattete Unterkunft. Der Gastgeber ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilft gerne. Die Lage ist sehr idyllisch. Wir waren begeistert von dieser Unterkunft.
This was a big house for two with tons of room and it was a great place to stay. Very clean with plenty of everything needed for our stay. Big porch in front , where we spotted an elk and a deer . Close to Yosemite . Really enjoyed this place and I’d highly recommend it for a lovely stay in the mountains.
I’ve stayed at a lot of VRBO houses. This house is a much older home, but it was probably one of the cleanest houses I’ve stayed in. Make sure you screenshot the check-in instructions about an hour before you get there. There is absolutely no service in the area until you reach WiFi at the house. Locals told us it’s better if you have Verizon, but I’m with AT&T. Never had any issues until then. The house is a perfect stay for a visit to Yosemite National Park. Would recommend and would stay again. Host is also very responsive.
This is the second time our family has stayed in this house to visit Yosemite National Park. The house is clean and cozy, has everything you need for living. The owner of the property quickly responds to messages and is pleasant to talk to.
Even though the weather wasn't the best we could still see the tranquility and beauty of this place. Absolutely fell in love with the End of the Road. Really chuffed to have been visited by a beautiful hummingbird, stunning place.
Better than expected! Plenty of toiletries and kitchen basics (and not so basics). Everything we needed was here. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our kiddo to run around with our dog and play. There were great classic games for us to play together. The whole house was very clean and well decorated. It was exactly what we were looking for. River access is just 30 minutes away and Yosemite is also close by. Host was great as well. Truly recommend staying here!
I love this property and the coziness of the humble house at the end of the dirt road. It's quiet, relaxing, peaceful; just what I needed. My dogs and I stayed for a week, and wish we had another week. Maybe next year. There is a familiar comfort to this place, like you have just come home again.
