Private home on 5 fenced acres. 45 minutes to Yosemite. Master bedroom has king size log bed. Second bedroom has 2 twin beds and trundle. Additional small den has a couch. 2 full baths. Large sunny kitchen. Living room has 2 couches, Direct TV, Blu-ray player. Dining area has table seating up to 8. Ceiling fans throughout. Central air and heating plus wood-burning stove. High speed internet. BBQ on porch.Gas station, store, small restaurant within 1.5 miles.

Excellent place to stay. We had a great time. Best location if you are visiting Yosemite. We stayed for 4 nights and all necessary items are stocked up. It is half hour from Mariposa downtown. there is a small convenient store closer to the property for any urgent needs.

The End of the Road is a fantastic place to stay! It's an easy drive to Mariposa/Yosemite and you can't beat it for comfort, quiet, and peace. All you hear is the sound of wind in the pines. I would stay again and would highly recommend!

The property nicely reflects the rural charm of the area. Full disclosure: it is literally at the end of the road which added privacy.The host can be reached in multiple ways although we didn’t have to because it was a hassle-free vacation. We used the property as base for our trips to Yosemite Valley and Half Dome/Glacier Point. Kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast and dinner before and after our day trips. Front porch is a good spot to have morning coffee. Or, the swing in the backyard.Our dog had a huge playground.We were there in July and I can only imagine how even more beautiful it is in other seasons.

This was a big house for two with tons of room and it was a great place to stay. Very clean with plenty of everything needed for our stay. Big porch in front , where we spotted an elk and a deer . Close to Yosemite . Really enjoyed this place and I’d highly recommend it for a lovely stay in the mountains.

Great little hideaway

Nice little place tucked away from the business of life. We enjoyed our stay and the wonderful peace and quiet it supplied. Not too far from Yosemite and the cute little town of Mariposa. We will definitely stay here again!
