Paradise Resort is one of the newest oceanfront resorts in Myrtle Beach. The resort is conveniently located near area shopping, dining, live entertainment and golf. The resort amenities include an Olympic size oceanfront pool, kiddie pool, heated indoor pool, heated indoor lazy river and indoor & outdoor hot tubs in addition to a gym, on-site restaurant and tiki bar.

Our condo is located on the 11th floor of this beautiful resort offering amazing views of the ocean. Our condo features an oceanfront master bedroom with a King bed, sliding doors leading out to the balcony and a private bathroom. The guest bedroom has 2 full beds. Other features include a new queen sleeper sofa in the living room, washer/dryer in the unit, and a large oceanfront balcony. The kitchen includes a flat top stove, microwave, dishwasher, granite counter tops and under-mount sink. The resort has an attached parking garage making it easy to load/unload the car and guests don't have to walk across the street to park making it very safe for families.

Our rate includes bed linens & bath towels and departure cleaning. Wifi and pool towels are provided free of charge by the resort.

Myrtle Beach was voted 'Best Family Beach' by The Travel Channel. Great Central Location! You'll be close to all that Myrtle Beach has to offer including, 120 golf courses, over 1900 restaurants, live entertainment, fun shopping, water parks, and thrilling attractions. Paradise Resort is conveniently located near the new oceanfront Boardwalk, less than 3 miles from the airport and The Market Commons - a 114 acre urban village community with shopping (Tommy Bahama, The Orvis Company, Chico's), dining (PF Chang's, Gordon Biersch Brewery, Divine Prime and Travinia Italian Kitchen) and entertainment (Grande 14 Cinema). Paradise Resort is also less than 4 miles from Broadway at the Beach, a large outdoor shopping area that has dozens of great restaurants, IMAX Theater, mini-golf, children's amusement park, Ripley's Believe it Or Not Aquarium, Hard Rock Cafe, night clubs, piano bar, arcade and paddle boats. The Nascar Speedpark is located directly across the street from Broadway at the beach and features several go-cart tracks and an arcade. Next to the Speedpark is Myrtle Waves, South Carolina's largest water park with over 30 slides and attractions and 1.2 million gallons of water. There are several options for lunch and fun snacks including funnel cakes, pizza and ice cream and souvenirs. You will never run out of fun things to do!

Myrtle Vacation

The condo was nice. Excellent vacation and views. The pool, hot tube, and lazy river were nice. The resort had fun activities like a DJ and karaoke. The beach was nice and beautiful. Yhe check in was easy, we always found decent parking spots. the dryer was very loud and looked rough, there was something sticky on the end table and we had a few flea bites. Sorry, had to state the good with the bad.

Beautiful veiw

Condo was not well maintained, half the plugins in the master doesnt work, hole in gueat bathroom door, paint rubbed off the walls in frint room from chair's, rotton wood around balcony and black mold. Veiws were amazing

I'm glad you enjoyed the wonderful view from our condo. I apologize if the prior guest unplugged the lamps, you just needed to plug them back in to have them work. Guest unplug them all the time I think to plug in phone chargers. We did touch up the paint after you checked of from where the chair rubbed against the wall and repaired the small chip in the bathroom door. Thank you for letting us know. The balcony is all concrete so there is no wood on the oceanfront building. You may have seen the black waterproof membrane they installed on the balcony when they recently tiled the balconies at the resort.

Solid Property but Old

View GREAT, walk right on beach, parking is tight and limited, building and unit are dated. Beds seemed old. I would say it probably does work for most people wanting to stay right on the beach. Nothing good close for eating out, but a Neighborhood Walmart is clean and close by.

The property was OK to Good. Bed linens and sheets are old and needed improvement. The surrounding neighborhood was likely dead with not much activities going on. Amentities also need improvement. Three stars for the property and neighborhood.

Enjoyed our stay

My wife and I and our kids aged 19 & 15 loved it here. Everything worked. Clean. Was exactly as pictured. My wife particularly enjoyed the balcony and view. Only downside was we couldn’t use the lazy river,too many kids jumping in and out of it. The bar was convenient for drinks and food but closed at 9. Good location we walked to a pier for parasailing and banana boat. A couple of restaurants and mini-golf within walking distance,also a pretty cool ice cream shop (Scooby’s) nearby also had frozen drinks. The Boardwalk area was just a short drive away which had some good restaurants,shops and rides. We recommend Rip Tydes for rooftop dining.

Summer vacation

Over a pleasant stay at the unit at Paradise Reaort. First to talk about the resort. Resort is dirty not well maintain. Pool was cloudy, lazy river was stinky and first day only two of the four elevators worked. Highly recommend that you park a cross the street as the garage is really tight with a large SUV. Beach was wonderful and we enjoyed the drinks at the tiki hut. Unit review. Wonderful view of the beach from the 11 floor. Unit is showing signs of age but fit our family of four very well. When they say bring your own paper products and consumables they mean everything. That means toilet paper, napkins paper towels hand soap, dish soap and garbage bags. A few things about the unit I think needs addressed. Light bulb in fridge is hanging by tape. Fridge freeze most thing even though on recommended setting. Fire alarm in master bedroom appears to be falling off wall. Some rust showing up on appliances and fixtures. But your at the beach with salt. These Things are going to happen. Master mattress probably is on it last legs too.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at our condo. During the peak holiday of your stay, the pool may have been a little cloudy due to the sunscreen from all the guests using the pool on a sold out holiday week. Overall, the resort does an excellent job keeping the pools clean and operating. Surface parking lot is available directly across the street if you are uncomfortable navigating a parking garage. All elevators are working, there may have been a temporary issue on your arrival day. Our cleaning crew provides a starter roll of TP, paper towels, hand soap for each bathroom and a garbage bag for the kitchen. If you need additional consumables during your stay, they can be easily purchased at the dollar store up the street. We have purchased a new refrigerator and microwave since your visit as appliance due get used hard in a vacation rental. Fire alarm just got bumped and knocked lose, it was easily put back in place. Mattresses are very subjective, some people prefer a firm mattress while others prefer softer. Thanks again for your detailed review and hope to see you back next time.

My wife, son and I currently live in South Florida. My family has vacationed in Myrtle Beach every year since I was a child. Some of my favorite childhood memories include playing on the beach with my family, catching waves in the warm ocean water, playing beach volleyball, going to the water parks and racing the go-carts. I also fondly remember competing against my brother in miniature golf (we are very competitive), enjoying the many shows in Myrtle Beach, watching the weekly firework displays, and best of all, my dad taking the entire family to make your own sundae after dinner. Now that I have my own family, I want to continue our wonderful family tradition and create new family memories with my wife and son.
