We had a wonderful time at Cavan House! It’s very well stocked and has everything you need to enjoy some time in the countryside. Jill was a great host as well. We will be back.
The property was everything and more that we expected.

Irish country living at its best
My family has just returned from a wonderful stay at Cavan House. The Georgian style house was wonderfully appointed with beautiful furniture and all the comforts one would desire. There are enough bedrooms to easily accommodate the 7 adults travelling in our group and the grounds are wonderfully maintained.
The location was 5 minutes out of Rathfriland which has pubs, grocery stores and nice town square. The town of Newry is 20 minutes away with high speed train service to Belfast and Dublin. The house was well located to explore the holiday towns on the east coast of Ireland. The views of the mountains from the from yard are great..
I would highly recommend staying at Cavan house because of the property, location and the wonderful owners who took care of our every need.
