An absolute gem!

We loved our week in this property, we will definitely be back, hopefully for longer next time. The local pizza in the square is the best I have ever eaten, and I’ve eaten a lot of pizza! The pool is excellent and the environment is stunning, it’s secluded but not isolated.

The small holiday home is situated on a large plot of land, framed by a small river and a wooded hill. Although it lies right on the edge of the village, it is completely peaceful and not overlooked by neighboring houses.The photos accurately reflect the actual conditions. The house was very clean—especially the kitchen, which is not always the case in our experience. The kitchen is equipped with everything one needs for a holiday.The bathroom is a good size and was well-stocked with plenty of towels and soap.The two bedrooms, which overlook the river, are located on the upper floor. We only used one of them, and the bed was very comfortable.Outside, there is a table with four chairs, a small seating area, a total of six sun loungers, and a built-in barbecue. The pool is a good size and about 1.20 meters deep—perfect for a refreshing dip. It was cleaned every other day.The hosts were very friendly and helpful. After a week, we received fresh bed linen and were asked if we needed new towels. Communication was easy thanks to Google Translate.Our dog was also warmly welcomed.

Een fijne plek met heel veel privacy en een heel leuk net huisje. De keuken is wat aan de kleine kant maar is wel compleet, op de vaatwasser na. Het zwembad is prima om in af te koelen en wordt goed onderhouden. Heel fijn dat het dorp, restaurant en bakker op loop afstand is. Onze hondjes hebben zich ook prima vermaakt in de niet helemaal omheinde tuin, ze konden wel vrij rondlopen. Het is jammer dat er geen goed begaanbaar pad naar het riviertje loopt vanuit de tuin.

Als je je even wilt onttrekken aan dagelijkse stress kom je daar helemaal tot rust!Wij zaten op terras en er liepen opeens 3 herten in de tuin *Het wifi netwerk blijft af en toe wat steken.*tuin is deels afgesloten voor de hond

Sehr schönes kleines Häuschen auf einem sehr großzügigem gepflegtem Grundstück mit kleinem Pool. Die Küche war ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und bemüht uns den Aufenthalt hier sehr angenehm zu machen. Die Landschaft ist traumhaft und echt was für Wanderer.

Splendida vacanza, la struttura è molto curata, a due passi da Piazza al Serchio, ma in un ambiente tranquillo e riservato, in mezzo alla natura.Siamo stati molto bene, l'esposizione della casa è ottima, sole e ombra, a scelta. Prachtige omgeving

Fijn zwembad in een prachtige omgeving. Het dorpje is schattig, authentiek Italië. Oud en eenvoudig. Het huisje is klein maar prima. Inrichting verouderd. Jammer genoeg geen airco of ventilator op de slaapkamer; de nachten zijn niet comfortabel door de warmte. Qua prijs kwaliteit prima. Contact met eigenaar minimaal dooor taalbarrière.

Genieten

We hebben genoten van het heerlijke huisje en de prachtige omgeving. We konden het eerst niet vinden maar na contact met de verhuurders, kwam de zoon op een motor ons ophalen. Genoeg goede restaurantjes is de buurt en op 12 minuten rijden een heerlijk meer, waar we heerlijk gezwommen hebben. Hou je van een plek waar je niet de doorsnee toeristen tegen komt dan kunnen we jullie deze plek warm aanbevelen! De honden van de buren blaffen nog steeds af en toe, maar is zeker niet vervelend!

Heerlijk, klein huisje in de bossen met 100% privacy

Fijne week in het huisje en de tuin doorgebracht. De blaffende honden zijn storend. Er zijn wel restaurantjes op loopafstand maar echt gezellig zijn ze niet. Gastvrije ontvangst!

Se si cerca relax e privacy è il posto perfetto. Struttura ospitale fornita di tutto e piscina top. Si dorme con il fresco e il piacevole rumore dell’acqua del fiume che scorre. Cose migliorabili: una zanzariera per poter tenere luci accese senza moscerini e un divano :)

Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit in der Bergwelt der Toskana

Das gesamte Objekt war sehr sauber, und auch der großzüge Garten, der in die Natur integriert ist war top gepflegt! Die Besitzer kamen jeden 2. Tag vorbei um den Pool zu reinigen. Neben freundlichen Gespächen (Italienisch mit Googleübersetzer) erhielten wir etliche Ausflugstipps in der umliegenden Gegend und immer die Frage "können wir euch noch was gutes tun?". Die Objektbilder sind nicht für die Website aufpoliert, sondern entsprechen den Tatsachen vor Ort! Wir freuen uns auf jeden Fall auf einen erneuten Besuch, den wir evtl für das kommende Jahr bereits einplanen! Insgesamt: Daumen hoch (und wenn ich davon 10 Stück hätte, dann ALLE 10;))

Schöner Urlaub in traumhafter Lage

Das Ferienhaus ist toll gelegen direkt am Fluss in den Bergen. Man kann wunderbar wandern oder sich die schönen Orte in der Umgebung anschauen. Wir hatten leider erst nicht so schönes Wetter und kamen bei 12 grad und Regen in ein noch kälteres Ferienhaus. Die Heizung funktionierte aber Gottseidank schnell. Ansonsten ist alles wie beschrieben und ich kann es nur empfehlen ! Wir kommen gerne wieder .

Einfach und ok

Der Anfang war etwas holprig, weil das Haus bei unserer Ankunft sehr ausgekühlt war und wir mit den vorhandenen Decken nachts gefroren haben. Nach zwei Tagen war es dann gemütlich durchgeheizt, die Vermieterin hat eine zusätzliche Decke gebracht und wir haben uns deutlich wohler gefühlt. Die Matratzen waren schön fest. Von der Nähe zum Fluss und der Abgelegenheit hatten wir uns etwas mehr versprochen. Auf den Fotos sah es einsamer aus, tatsächlich ist das Gelände eher offen und es entsteht nicht das Gefühl, dass man ganz für sich ist. Das ist natürlich Geschmacksache. Der Fluss war gerade ziemlich ausgetrocknet, aber ein Stück flussaufwärts haben wir eine schöne Badestelle mit klarem, erfrischenden Wasser entdeckt, und zum Wandern ist die Region wunderschön. Das Angebot an Restaurants war kurz vor Ostern sehr eingeschränkt.

Thank you for for your review and also for your e mail saying you had a lovely time. We are so sorry it was cold on arrival and that it took a couple of days to resolve- I don't think anyone anticipated such a cold snap with minus 4 at night! This holiday house had never been used at such temperatures with heating designed for taking the chill off a normal Spring or Autumn season. We will block the calendar for such early bookings in case we have freak cold snaps again. I can't believe you braced the river in such temperatures! You can usually bathe at the river just outside the house, but the 2 year drought in Italy has taken its toll. Glad you were able to swim a little further up. Thankfully we have now had a very late snow and also rain, so the river should hopefully continue to fill and flow throughout the summer from the mountain streams. 'Openness' has never been raised as an issue but it could be the house felt different with the very late spring as the trees and bushes had not got their leaves. Prima vakantiehuisje

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in dit huisje. Het heeft veel ruimte rondom het huisje, we konden daardoor de hele dag, tot later in de middag, genieten van het zonnetje.

Mysigt hus men mycket förstördes av ….

Mysigt hus med ok standard och utrustning. Tyvärr låg det ett hus ett par hundra meter bort där det bodde 5 dygnetruntskällande hundar som verkade vara lämnade ensamma större delen av tiden. Detta förstörde tyvärr vår nattsömn väldigt mycket. Vi var t.o.m. tvinga att lämna huset ett par dagar för att bo på hotell för att kunna sova ordentligt.

Idyllisches Ferienhaus im toskanischen Stil

Wir haben 10 Tag mit unsrer Hündin hier verbracht und haben es sehr genossen. Das Grundstück liegt direkt an einem Bach und am Waldrand. Besser geht es mit Hund fast gar nicht. Es ist sehr ruhig, aber nicht abgeschieden. Man ist in 3-5 Minuten im Dorf und hat dort alles was man braucht (Supermarkt, Restaurant, Bar, Apotheke, Bäcker, Metzgerei usw…). Wir haben wenig Ausflüge gemacht, da man mit dem Auto auf den kurvigen Straßen nur langsam voran kommt. Dafür haben wir viel am Pool entspannt. Es war sehr schön!

Leuk vakantie huisje

Helaas was het huisje niet te vinden. Slechte communicatie met de verhuurders. Geen meertje in de buurt zoals op foto stond. Een groot deel van de dag en de nacht 5 of 6 blaffende honden. Jammer van onze rust vakantie. Locatie is verder prima.

Hi Christ, Sorry about the owner not being able to answer the phone when you were lost, but we are glad we resolved with you quickly. I am afraid the river did not look like it does in the photos because Italy is in the midst of its worst drought for 70 years so the water levels were incredibly low. Luckily we have had some storms now and it is replenishing and hopefully getting back to normal. In terms of the dogs it really was a great shame that they were so loud, but I am glad you raised it with us since the owner of the animals is now using a sonic system that only dogs can hear which stops them barking.

Super toll!

Haus, Wald, Bach und sonst kein Mensch - einfach wunderbar zum Abschalten und erholen. Zur Begrüßung gab es Kuchen und Prosecco (obwohl ich natürlich auch an der Abzweigung vorbeigefahren bin (es sind nur 20 Meter und keine 100) und wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Das Haus ist toll! Nicht nur funktional, sondern auch mit Charme eingerichtet. Es fehlt an gar nichts! Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Fijn huis, zeer rustig gelegen, op loopafstand van het dorp.

Eerste keer via VRBO, zeer goed bevallen. We werden op de hoogte gehouden van de situatie in Italië. Ontvangst door Daniela en Erica. Erica spreekt een beetje Engels, Daniela niet. Leuk dorp met fijne restaurants. Enige minpunt is dat je wel lang moet rijden om ergens naartoe te gaan. Dit komt door de bochtige wegen in de bergen. Verder heel fijn gehad.
