We are a family of 5 who had a great time at the Grain Lodge. The pictures don’t do this property justice, the bedroom in particular is beautiful. It has everything you could need for a short stay. The lemon drizzle cake that Elaine left for us was lovely.

About the host
Hosted by Elaine Lynch
I'm Elaine and in 2015, together with a small team (my Dad, Hugh and husband, Mark) we set about converting a disused farm building into the beautiful Grain Loft. Working and learning on the job we have restored this stunning old building and created a warm, inviting and exciting property for people to stay and explore the area.
I've loved working with my family to convert this property and are enjoying getting to meet different people from all over the country and beyond and work with them to create a perfect stay for them. I try to be as accommodating as I can so that organising and booking it is easy, The Grain Loft has everything you might need and that you have a great time and leave with some very special memories.
Why they chose this property
The Grain Loft sits at the top of the stunning Clun Valley. With curvaceous fields, meandering streams and castle ruins all in one eye shot, it doesn't get any better.
When the sun is shining and the only sounds are the sheep in the nearby fields or birds tweeting in the trees you'll understand why this is such a special place
Whether you enjoy good food and great walks, visiting local markets and ancient castles or hang-gliding and paint balling there's something for everyone in this wonderfully unspoilt county.
What makes this property unique
This unique rural gem is hidden away in the stunning South Shropshire countryside, surrounded by green fields, old oak trees and wonderful wildlife.
