really enjoyed our stay at beech cottage. lovely cottage with great views. the swimming pool and gym were a real bonus. Boys enoyed the fishing too. we wil be back

A good base for exploring East Cornwall

Lovely clean property, reasonably well equipped. Excellent fridge freezer, very comfortable beds. The main fishing pond is well stocked but it wasn’t clear whether the second smaller pond was in use. Pool and hot tub very enjoyable. No sign of the DVD library, and it was a bit surreal communicating with the owners by email for day to day matters. Possibly due to Covid 19 there was no literature at all (except for a takeaway pizza menu) in the property to inform you about appliances or places of local interest. It’s a lovely location with the Tamar valley very close, and both the south and north coasts within easy reach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hawthorne cottage

Due to transition to Vrbo, communication difficult and didn’t get final email, outlining arrival protocol for covid. Embarrassing, but apologies made and a tranquil weeks holiday in peaceful surroundings.

wonderful return visit

This is our second visit to Long Barn cottages and we will be back again. We were blessed with great weather, but this is in any case, such a lovely spot. Did a bit of fishing and caught a couple of pretty big ones. Thoroughky enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The Endless pool machine is a revelation as we did not use it last time. The location is just so lovely and the cottage itself very well thought out. A perfect cornish break. Thank you.

Lovely warm place with so much to do

came here on a last minute whim, aiming to do a bit of fishing and see \Cornwall. couldnt have chosen better. Fishing really good, even in november. Indoor pool was warm and the swimming machine was a real unexpected bous. Great location for getting around. cottage was warm and very nice.
