Romantic Swiss Chalet, ideal for both winter and summer holidays, situated near a river and forest yet close to all commodities.The property is located in a quiet mountainside location, only 4 minutes away from the ski-lifts, championship golf courses and the centre of the up-market resort of Crans-Montana. The ground floor has 2 bedrooms (one with a double and one with two single beds) and a living-room/bedroom with smart TV and sofa bed, and two bathrooms. The main floor is open-spaced, composed of main living-room with fireplace, large LED TV screen, satellite, radio, DVD, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and visitors' WC. The Top Floor has 2 double bedrooms with smart TV and en-suite bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi. Separate laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. Outside there is a beautiful heated balcony with loungers, a sauna, 2 garages and sufficient parking for 2 additional cars. The chalet has been beautifully furnished and decorated throughout, creating a luxurious and cosy mountain atmosphere. PRICES AND AVAILABILITY UP TO DATE ON THIS WEBSITE.
General information on Crans Montana: The Crans-Montana ski and golf resort is just a 3 minute car or bus ride away from the chalet. The ski season runs from the beginning of December to mid April. With the new "Magic Pass", its now not so expensive to ski in Switzerland. The ski slopes cover a huge area and range in altitude between 1500 and 3000 metres. There are 6 cable cars, 6 chairlifts, and numerous button bars, servicing the slopes. The majority of the runs are of an intermediate or easy level, and there are several ski and snowboard schools in the area. Some cross country skiing is possible, including on the Plain Morte glacier at 3000 metres. There is also an outdoor ice skating rink in the centre of Montana and another in Crans. For apres ski there is a plentiful supply of restaurants and bars. And if you wish to venture further afield there are many other ski areas within easy reach. During the warm summer months there are many attractions in the local area, including hiking, cycling, amazing golf, river rafting, swimming, and paragliding. Something for everyone.
Transportation: Although public transportation is very reliable and convenient in Switzerland, we suggest you have a car in order to visit all the attractions of the area.

Perfect place for Skiing

Very nice place, also in summer for hiking, I guess. All things that are needed for cooking, that was a plus. The sauna was also cool!

Fantastic chalet

Ce chalet est vraiment adapté pour des familles avec un espace pour les enfants au RDC, un espace de vie commune (cuisine, salon et salle à manger) au 1er étage avec une vue fantastique sur les montagnes et des chambres au 2eme et 3eme étages qui peuvent laisser aux parents un espace tranquille.

Wohlfülhaus

Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt, in diesem grosszügigen, geschmackvollen Chalet. Fast jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. Die Terrasse mit den chilligen Stühlen und Sicht auf die Berge und Bäume, mit einem Bach-Rauschen, versetzt einem gleich in Ferienlaune.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful

The view alone is worth the trip! The chalet was the perfect mix of coziness and luxurious. There was not a single thing missing and the communication was effortless and quick when we had a question. The cherry on top was the sewing kit, which saved our dog's fave toy. Thanks for having us and we will gladly come back!

Wunderbarer Familienurlaub!

Ein sehr schönes und vor allem behagliches Ferienhaus mit Blick ins Grüne und auf schneebedeckte Gipfel. Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein konnten wir trotz der noch kühleren Jahreszeit auch den geschützten Aussenbereich sehr gut nutzen. Eine ideale Unterkunft für Familien. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Relaxing holiday retreat

Although this rental was not for myself, I arranged this stay for friends of ours. Communication with the host was very easy and always fast with a very helpful tone. The family staying there comprised all ages. Whilst the chalet is certainly of a high standard, it was not suitable for families with younger kids. There are many unsafe and unprotected drops, with risk of serious harm, at the property, both indoors and outdoors. Also, driving for the first time onto the road leading onto the property, it was impossible to know how to safely navigate the extremely sharp turn, which if miscalculated without exact precision, would cause potential serious damage to the vehicle, owing to the gradient at the road side. My first visit to my friends did indeed leave my minivan with a damaged undercarriage and with the two rear wheels suspended midair. It took a whole team of people to rectify the situation. Otherwise, the home is slightly on the cramped side for 10 persons. The rooms are not particularly spacious but perfectly comfortable. The views are slightly hidden by the trees but the location is extremely tranquil with a well kept rear garden. I would say that this house would suit a party of adults only. The host Robert, was extremely nice and forthcoming at all times in the run up to the actual rental period. 10/10

Chalet mit super Aussicht

Das Chalet ist sehr schön und geräumig, man hat sich wie Zuhause gefühlt. :-) Es ist ein bisschen weit von den Gondelbahnen und vom Zentrum entfernt, aber ansonsten in einer ruhigen und schönen Gegend.

Just a wonderful rest in a charming chalet

I wanted to relax because I was near a burn out having too much stress in the renovation of my bathroom, with all the dust and the noise. I found the chalet very confortable and practical. I enjoyed every bit of sunshine on the beautiful terrace with the confortable sofas so cocooning and the view is fantastic. And everything was at its right place making the living in the chalet for my children and me very relaxing and calming after the chaos at home. The chalet was very clean what I also appreciated a lot.

Beautiful Chalet with spectacular views

This is a very beautiful chalet situated a short distance from the town, but easily reached by car via a very steep sharp turn. The views are spectacular from the balcony and there is a generous garden area, with a very steep drop at the edge. The chalet has excellent facilities and is sympathetically furnished to a high standard. Information and communication direct with the owner was very helpful and we particularly appreciated the provision of a cot, high chair, stair gates etc. for our one year old grandson. We were a family party of nine people ranging in age between one and ninety years old and we all enjoyed walking, playing table tennis and golf at the Severiano Ballesteros and Jack Nicklaus courses. We would highly recommend this chalet.

Great summer in Crans-Montana

It was an amazing stay in this chalet in Crans-Montana. The chalet offers you everything you expect in great luxury. A great place to be, to relax, to enjoy surrounded by nature and a splendid view on the valley and the mountains. One of the best we can only recommend !

Deluxe chalet: Best base for hikers

Back from 2 weeks hiking in the greater area of Crans-Montana we can only give our best references to our 5*base El Condor. We did many gentle hikes along the beautiful old water channels called Bisse/Suonen. To the ambitious hikers we recommend the Illhorn, across the valley, the trail to Zinal and the Col de Bastillon, further down the valley (Bourg St.Pierre). We found it easy to get around by public transport. Back at the chalet, we loved the absolute silence, the wonderful views and - during the world soccer championships - of course the huge screen. Unfortunately, for German speaking people, only 2 (Swiss) channels were open. But then, a laptop was supplied, internet worked and we had no troubles finding out about weather, trains, buses etc. We cooked delicious meals in that practical and well equippped kitchen. We especially highlight that all was very clean, of good quality. The same goes for the wonderful bath rooms. The cleaning ladies also did a great job at the end of our first week, and this with a smile and helpful information. Last but not least, we appreciated the very friendly and uncomplicated way of organizing it all with the owner directly. It was paradise, although our NZZ newspaper never arrived (somehow the post couldn't sort it out). We definitively will come back for another great stay at the El Condor.

Magnifique! Chalet El Condor

Sérieusement je recommande à toutes les personnes exigeantes ce magnifique pavillon de qui emplacement dispose de toutes les meilleures prestations, confort et luxe que je n'ai jamais Connue auparavant. (Vraiment superbe!) Vraiment un petit coin de paradis ou l'on se envoyés mieux Qu'a la maison. Rien à redire le top! Félicitations et encore merci au propriétaire.

Real pleasure in Crans!

The stay was simply perfect and we did enjoyed the Chalet very much. El Condor has just everything set in place for the guests. It is situated in very beautiful place and the view from very room is a masterpiece. The buc stop is just around the corner which helps to get to the telecabins. The information provided by Robert about shops, rental offices, restaurants was really helpful and easy to find in the resort. I would very much recommend this Chalet for larg groups either preferring parties or for the families since ????? my point of you it can suit any demand.
