I was born and raised in Hawaii, which the hospitality life was part of my upbringing. My Dad was "local", my Mom "haole". Entertaining was done year round with mainland visitors. Val Vista Lakes has helped me feel like I am back in the islands. Our family has lived in VVL since 1996 as well as 4/5 of my siblings and Mom.
