Sherwood Oaks Lodge Sleeps 4-5.

Our cabin is as close to Oklahoma City as any resort on the Oklahoma side of Texoma! Just 2 hours away! 1/2 mile from Sherwood Shores Beach and a few minutes drive to Juniper Point Recreation Area and Cedar Mills Marina. MegaStar Casino just across bridge on Oklahoma side.

**Rollaway bed for extra guest**

Fully equipped kitchen. Large rear deck shaded by large oak trees make for pleasant outdoor dining. Parking for 4 vehicles, including 2-car carport. HDTV with local broadcast channels. DVD player with large selection of classic family-friendly movies.

Not wheelchair accessible.

We have several kayaks available for rent at very reasonable rates. Inquire at time of booking. Need to rent a bigger boat? Call Cedar Bayou Marina, minutes away.

House was clean but needs a lot of maintenance. We adjusted the front and back doors so they would open easier. Both room have a strong odor of mold and mildew. Two of our guests had terrible headaches because of it.

It was ok. Strong musty smell. Even the towels in cabinet was must smelling. The skillets and baking sheets need to replaced. Everything stuck to them. Dirty non working dish washer. Over all, it was a place to rest when not out on the water but could use improvements. Communication with owner was great.

Very clean

We rented this lake house for the 4th of July weekend. Communication with property owner was excellent. This property is small but very clean. It is located close to Cedar Mills Marina which makes access to the lake easy with a very short commute. We had 2 boats and trailers and had room to park one on the side of the house. We were able to see fireworks through the trees while sitting on the back patio. Beds were comfy and all linens and all paper products, dishwashing supplies and laundry soap were fully stocked.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We wanted to get out of town for a few days and bring our jet skis. Perfect parking arrangement for our jet skis and van. The house is clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were super friendly when we were walking our dogs. Perfect Lake Texoma location with a public ramp a few minutes away.

Easy transaction. Place was clean and just as described. Loved having washer and dryer and even had fans in the bedrooms. I usually have a hard time sleeping without a fan, so this really helped me relax!

Quiet and peaceful, around the corner from the lake.

Easy check in and out, and the owners thought of all the details! This was a nice and quiet place to spend the weekend with friends. The Sherwood Shores lake area around the corner was just beautiful!! This is for sure one of the nicer homes in the neighborhood.

Always love staying at any of Jim's properties. Very affordable and clean places. i recommend you look into Jim's rentals if you are looking for a place to stay at Lake Texoma.

Escape

My sister and I wanted to escape, but decided to bring our elderly parents. It would've been the last road trip for my dad. However, he passed the Friday before our trip. It turned into a girls weekend. Sisters and mom. The trip was perfect for us. We had a very chilled time in the cabin. Our lake time included short walks with the dogs and site seeing. The trip was Awesome, just what our family needed, after the loss of our Hero.

We had plenty of room and the place was well equipped for our needs.

The location could not have been better. Air conditioner in large bedroom did not work well but we utilized other beds and made do. We had a great time. Thank you Jim!

Quiet and shaded cool nights sleep.

Jim the property owner was super helpful with any of our needs! I would say that the home is as advertised, for us it was just a place to sleep as we were visiting family. I don’t have any info that is regarding the surrounding area. The deck outside was nice to sit at and there is lots of shade. Overall the small bedroom has the most comfortable bed, the other bed is quite the opposite, for us it was fine because e only needed one bed. The owner has an extra AC unit added to keep us comfortable in the extreme heat which was thoughtful. All in all it was a good stay for the price.
