Perfectly Located, Expertly Hosted

We had a great stay in this apartment. The hosting team was friendly and responsive, and the apartment is full of light and perfectly located. The beds were comfortable and the shutters on the windows provide a perfect black out environment for sleeping. Well equipped kitchen. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location in Madrid

This is the most charming apartment with balconies overlooking the old section near the Pratto museum. Restaurants close by, pharmacies, walking distance to everything you’d want to see. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms are nice and great attention to detail.

The balcony was beautiful, the gentlemen that let us in was helpful, gracious and flexible. We had no issues with the steps in the apartment. Loved the little neighborhood close by. The longest walk to various locations in the center city was 22 minutes or closer.

What a great location

We enjoyed being able to walk most everywhere and felt ourselves part of Madrid. The condo is compact, but sufficient for 2 couples. It was like an HGTV renovation: old beams, exposed brick walls, but with modern kitchen and baths. A delightful place to stay.

Great location with good choice of restaurants and bars nearby and walking distance to main attractions-museums , galleries and Retiro Park . Bright and modern third floor flat with lift. Corner position with balcony windows with dual aspect. Would definitely recommend. Helpful hosts made stay easy including taxi transfer.

Bright, sunny, perfectly located

Me and my family had a lovely stay at this property. It is perfectly located for your exploration of Madrid, really near museums, shops, and great bars and restaurants. Everything within walking distance. The apartment is well appointed and, outside of a few kitchen items that could be replaced due to wear and tear, everything was in perfect condition. We would definitely stay here again if they'll have us!

Highly Recommend!

This rental is just perfect! The location is ideal and close to all major attractions. Jose met with us initially and was very warm and welcoming. Carmen is an ideal host with excellent communication! The apartment is just lovely and comfortable. You will not be disappointed with rental. Highly recommend!

Fantastic

I stayed with my family (6 total, including kids) and we have a fantastic time. The place is so charming and in a great location. You are walking distance from many places in Madrid or you can enjoy the rhythm of Madrid from the balcony for some relaxation time. The property manager is great and always there to answer question. I will stay again next time in Madrid.

Excellent stay

Very clean, perfect location for the Prado, amazing old property with high ceilings etc and beautiful windows and has been renovated and with high end appliances. Everything works great. The only negative is the living room furniture is average/poor, it is not comfortable to sit around and hang out together as a family of four. Super helpful hosts.

Home Away from Home

Location was great—walkable to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the major museums, the Parque de Buen Retiro, the Palacio Real, and even the Atocha train station. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Grocery store in lower level of the Corte Ingles at Plaza del Sol is fabulous. Neighborhood was fairly quiet and the shutters kept out the morning light. Apartment was very clean.

Great apartment in a super location

My sons and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was fantastic and everything in the apartment was comfortable (even the towels). It had everything we needed and it was obvious the owner cares about your stay. The cookware was nice (don't you hate when the pans are old and scratched?) and like things you have in your own home and not a rental. There are tons of restaurants near by, and almost everything else you want to see in Madrid is within walking distance. The owner is super kind and responsive. It was truly a great stay!

The little things

Wonderful location. Walk to the museums, nice small grocery within 5 minutes, taxis and Ubers easy to find. 50 lovely and local restaurants/ coffee/ bars/ bistros within a 5 minute walk. And the small problems we did NOT have- adequate closets with plenty of hangers, nice washer/ dryer, AC worked fine, plenty of hot water, easy checkin, no problem leaving luggage for a few hours waiting for our train. There's definitely reasons this place in a 10.

Perfect location, classic charm

This apartment was perfect for our group. My sister and I plus our husbands. The balconies were lovely, looking out on the street. Bathrooms were modern. Helena greeted us at the door to let us in and explain everything. She also gave us suggestions for things to do and restaurants to check out. Additionally, she arranged a taxi to and from the airport for us. Neighborhood was full of restaurants, shops and was easy walking from most sites. I would go back if we visit Madrid again.

What might have been

Unfortunately, at check in, we were met with plumbing problems that required us to move to another location. It was a shame because this is such a beautiful property in an excellent location. The owner was helpful in relocating us and adjusting our rental charges reflecting the inconvenience.

Spanish Adventure

Great apartment which deserves a high rating, but we would recommend the following: 1. More instruction on how to open the front door, key was tricky, 2. Written instructions in English on how to use the washing machine and the stove, we are from the US, and we’re unfamiliar with the appliances 3. A few more towels and wash cloths Otherwise, just great!

Would definitely book here again!

Excellent stay: clean, great location to many sites/cafes/restaurants, easy walk to many parts of the city, great a/c in all rooms, helpful lift! The area felt very safe, the apartment is tastefully decorated and most of all very clean. There is great natural lighting in the bedrooms and living room. Also 3 small balcony spaces one can drink some coffee and read a book, or just relax. Some minor nice surprises as there was body soap and shampoo in each shower available. There was good closet/storage space in a small apartment. Beware the VRBO add said there were 2 full size futons but there is actually only 1. Finally, the check in was a little confusing as we were communicating separately with Carmen through VRBO, but we actually met Jose at the apartment. When we finally got to the apartment we were given the incorrect code, and we didn’t know how to get into the apartment. When Jose came down to meet us to let us in, I let him know we were given the wrong code - mostly so they know to give the correct code for the next visitor, he just shrugged his shoulders like it didn’t matter. On top of that he didn’t help my daughter out I with our two suitcases each and backpacks we were carrying. He just stood at the front door and watched us struggle to pull the luggage through the door, go up a small flight of stairs into a very tiny elevator (we had to go up one at a time with our bags), into the apt. I must say otherwise, Carmen & Jose were very nice!& communicative!

Großartiger Urlaub

Ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal in der Ferienwohnung, die in erster Linie durch ihre unschlagbare Lage besticht. Die Top Sehenswürdigkeiten sind alle in fußläufiger Entfernung. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, absolut perfekt mit bester Freundin, letztes Mal zu viert als Familie hat auch bestens geklappt. Absolut empfehlenswert, zumal man auch bestens betreut wird und auf Wunsch auch die Taxifahrt von und zum Flughafen im Vorfeld organisiert wird, was sehr praktisch ist. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!
