Lovely holiday in lovely surroundings

My wife and I stayed for 10 quiet peaceful days in early February in this apartment, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very well maintained and equipped to a high standard, nothing being overlooked. Car parking either within the grounds of the property or outside was easy and always available. As it was warm and sunny for the duration of our stay, the large South facing balcony, with sea views, was much appreciated and enjoyed sun at any time of day – the best we have experienced on any of our rentals! Our hosts, Bernardo and Maria, were very friendly, (as were Eddie and Beethoven, their dogs). They were always on hand and responded enthusiastically to any request we made. I would make just 2 comments about the accuracy of details on the HomeAway listing – there is no air conditioning as stated and the grill as listed is part of a combination microwave/grill. These issues did not detract in any way from our enjoyment of our stay, but may be helpful for others to be aware of. When we visit Madeira again, my wife and I would certainly choose to stay here.

Dean and Carol are a friendly and very quiet couple, we didn't even notice they were on the top floor of the house, they are the guests that we are delighted to receive, we hope they come back next year, we recommend them to all hosts without any restrictions. Tolle Lage bei reizenden Vermietern

Der Blick vom Balkon ist einfach traumhaft. Die Lage absolut ruhig, da in einer Sackgasse. Zu einer wilden Badebucht sind es ca. 10 Gehminuten, zu einem bewachten Badestrand 2,5 km. Von den Bernardo und Maria bekamen wir Mangos aus dem eigenen Garten, die waren so lecker, dass wir jetzt zu Hause erst mal keine Mangos mehr kaufen werden, da sie uns nur enttäuschen würden. Es gibt zwar nur 1 Kochplatte, die aber sehr schnell heizt, dazu eine Mikrowelle mit Grill. Es ist alles da, was man brauchen könnte einschließlich Sonnencreme, Waschmittel und Geschirrmaschinentabs. Danke nochmal an Bernardo und Maria für die schöne Zeit!

Es war ein sehr schöner urlaub in der Madeira Insel und die Wohnung war genau das wir gesuchten hab

Ich und meiner Mann haben shöne zeit in der Wohnung verbracht. Herr Manuel und seine Ehfrau waren sehr freundliche .

Perfect!

If you want to stay on nice calm place close to airport and Funchal, this apartment is exactly what you are looking for.. Fully equipped, nice and cozy and big terrace with sea view. Housekeeper has may recommendations what to see and how to get there and is helpful to share with you.. And he grows avocados on his garden!! :))

Filip and his wife are an extraordinary couple, very calm, friendly, communicative, they seemed to be longtime my friends, they left the apartment clean and tidy, I recommend to any host and I hope they come back soon because they did not have enough time to see all the beautiful Island of Madeira. Maybe will come in the famous and "guiness book" New Year's Eve on Madeira Island! Friendly hugs to you both!
