We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. While small, it was perfect, being so close to the water. It had everything you need and then some! Can't wait to stay there again!
Great location to be on lake Moniqua. Owners were helpful and very responsive. Would stay there again. In my opinion, a great fishing spot. I’d suggest bringing your own boat or renting from a local place. We rented a canoe and it made the trip much better being on the lake
Proximity to Minocqua was awesome for this adorable cabin. Beautiful windows let in lovely views of Lake Minocqua at sunset and allowed for watching boats come and go during the day. Quiet nicely groomed beach with a sandy bottom and swimming platform plus paddle boats to head around the bay and take in gorgeous summer skies with eagles overhead. Would absolutely stay here again...gracious and communicative hosts. Loved it!
The view from our quaint little lake shore cabin was amazing!
It had some fondation structure issues that they were going to address this year. But with that sai, it was clean, bug free and all the amenities you could ask for. A place to dock our boat, close to downtown.
Love staying at The Water's Edge cottage. Can't beat the rental cost, the location and the use of the docks for your boat. The cove is so quiet and calm, so your boat doesn't move hardly at all on the dock from waves like you have to deal with at other rentals. If you have kids, there is a swim platform, paddle boats and nice sandy shoreline. Also, kids will love just fishing off the dock. I totally recommend staying in this cottage for two adults or a small family.
Stayed here many times before, cannot beat the deck view and easy access to your boat. Nice walk to and from town. You will here traffic on 51 but by the 2nd day don't even notice.
This property was just perfect for me and my husband. It was so cozy & the views were so awesome. It was just a short walk into town, which we did several times. I would've loved to have gone swimming, but it was just too cold the week we were there. We did do some fishing off the pier though & caught (& released) several small fish. We had a wonderful time.
Most of the stay was nice. I didn't like the bed we slept in because the floor was way out of level. Also we assumed there was a row boat with the cabin because of the picture showing it. We
Called and was told we can use it but being in our 60s we couldn't move it into the water. We did buy life jackets .

Thank you for bringing the uneven bed to our attention, we will look into it. Again, I wish the weather could have been better during your stay. Thanks again for staying with us.
The cabin was small but perfect size for my husband and I to enjoy. The location was great, so close to downtown Minocqua. The only complaint I’d have is the listing says that typical cookware was provided, but it was extremely limited. For example there were no baking sheets or larger bakeware and no measuring cups or spoons. We made do, but I’d typically expect to measure out a recipe without considering that unusual. Overall, I’d absolutely return.
The property was the perfect size for the 2 of us! We made the trip to fish for the weekend and we caught more fish from the dock than the boat. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed. The property has enough places for you to spend the weekend outdoors. It's maybe 5 minutes from downtown to grab a bite to eat or walk around. The owners were quick to answer questions if we had any. Would definitely come back next year for next years trip!
We really enjoyed our stay at Waters Edge cabin. It was so peaceful and quaint. The cabin was very clean and we could tell great care went into the decorating. It was everything we expected. We especially loved the deck with the lake view. So much more personal and cozy than a hotel.
Great cabin for a small family. We stayed a week and had a great time. Right on the water, I could watch my daughter fish and swim right from the deck.
Charming cabin, close to town, beautiful scenery and wildlife!

Great location, easy access, very clean & comfortable. Had everything we needed.
A beautiful location on a quiet piece of Lake Minoqua. Terrific views and wonderful sunsets from the comfortable deck.. Very quiet area (not many people) with easy access to Hwy 51. The cabin was just the right size for the 2 of us. The queen sized bed was more than comfortable. We would recommend this resort to everyone. There's a fire pit, paddle boats, fishing off the dock - great area for kayaking or a canoe. We loved our vacation and plan to come back next year. Art & Peg Reffelt

Very nice little cabin on the water
The place had everything you needed. Having a pier for the boat was awesome and made life a lot easier. Definitely enjoyed the few days I spent in the cabin. Wish I would have stayed more and will absolutely be renting this cabin again. Weather was good and caught tons of fish. Only complaint is that with no AC the place can get pretty hot during the day. I could imagine on the super hot days it being a little rough.

Quaint, cozy, comfortable and close to action
Our stay was good! My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights over Labor Day weekend. We did some fishing from the docks (a lot of weeds though), relaxed on the community beach and hung out by the fire pit with other cabiners. The cabins are kind of close together, in which there are other couples and families in close quarters. The grill, kitchen utensils and dishes provided were very convenient. There was a nice porch with plenty of seating overlooking the lake as well. The cabin is only about a mile from downtown Minocqua so we were able to walk to and from town; however, there is a little stretch of busy highway where there is no sidewalk so it would be dangerous for young ones. The cabins are right off a main highway, so there was traffic noise and a few times there were sirens. The cabin is a little rustic, but had everything you'd need, and well maintained. Everyone around was very friendly. It was a good time!

Week's Stay
Stayed here for a week with my husband and son. Pros: perfect size for us, nice lake, deck was wonderful for sitting outside, having access to paddle boats, comfortable bed, convenient access to shops and restaurants, a couple playgrounds for kids close by, owner(s) friendly and accommodating, nice dock if you have a boat. Cons: quite a bit of road noise, bathroom shower needs a little work, futon was not comfortable for sleeping, not quite as private and secluded as we hoped for. The guests staying in surrounding cabins were nice and friendly, we just didn't want to hear them and likewise we also worried our son would disturb them. Overall, we would stay here again. My husband gives it 5 stars.
