Fabulous home with A/C! Mission style, updated with many amenities! A SLO dream! Large California, Spanish Ranch style home in a historic and a beloved neighborhood, located on a quiet side street, very close to downtown and many hiking trails. This home went through a complete renovation in 2019! Refinished wood floors throughout the house, a complete kitchen renovation, new lighting, bathroom renovation, new open plan with the kitchen opened up to the dining and living rooms, beams raised and arches recreated, all freshly painted inside and out, and many more unique details.
This home is all you will need for a great San Luis Obispo, Central Coast experience. Home is owned by an artist and her work will welcome you to this colorful, delightful home. You will enjoy the back yard deck with decorative lights and a BBQ right off of the kitchen. Rooms are very well equipped with quality beds and sizes. Experience San Luis Obispo and it's fabulous surroundings. Down the street from the best biking, walking and hiking trails, plus only 9 miles to the closest beach.

Great place to stay in SLO

This is a great place to stay when visiting San Luis Obispo. Charming house in a great location. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. It was as advertised.

Great place to spend a month

Very comfortable, convenient to everything both walking and driving, great neighborhood with friendly neighbors and a pleasant little park on the same block (which our dog loved). Will be back next year!

Walkable to downtown

Loved our stay in San Luis Obispo. This quaint house was clean, has a well-appointed kitchen, is close to the markets & shops on Foothill, as well as walkable to downtown, yet is in a fairly quiet, family oriented neighborhood. The house has a wonderful 'feel' to it with the owners art and special touches. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in SLO!

Love this house

This was our second time renting this house. We love the location and the overall decor of the house. The communication with Lisa was very easy and she was always there if we needed anything. The location is a real plus. Great for sag walking and close to downtown SLO.

Lovely house!

We loved our stay at this downtown SLO house. It was perfectly situated close to downtown but in a quiet family friendly neighborhood with sidewalks. My kids enjoyed going to Anholm Park and playing with the kids everyday. The house had all the modern needs we could ask for including updated appliances, fast internet and Apple TV. We had a wonderful stay!

Comfort close to town

This is a good-sized house, well equipped kitchen, comfortable (if not at all fancy) furnishings, dog friendly (ours had a good time). Easy 20 minute walk to downtown in one direction, and 10 minutes to restaurants and shops (an excellent supermarket in particular) the other way. Will definitely return.

Perfect Location, great neighborhood.

We loved our stay for a month. Perfect location to downtown. Cindy was always receptive to our inquiries. Only complaint was the refrigerator was on the blink and never did work properly and the cable tv was less than desired. That being said I would stay at this location for another month in a heartbeat. Loved this place. P.S. the backyard and lighting was sooo nice and I loved walking my dog in the neighborhood, so nice.

I'd move in as-is!

Among the many VRBOs we've stayed at, this is the first one that I would be happy to move into without changing a thing. It's comfortable, homey and beautiful. Owner is an artist and she has graced the home with her paintings, drawings, even pottery. Her eye is excellent as you'll see in touches throughout. Back deck and yard are very useable, too, with evening lighting. Location is walkable to downtown SLO, and is a safe, well-kept neighborhood.

Terrific home in SLO

This artful, eclectic property was a perfect getaway home for an extended stay. There are large, comfortable bedrooms and beds, spacious living and eating areas, a well equipped kitchen, fully stocked linen closet, a laundry room with cleaning supplies and a delightful backyard patio with lots of privacy and lovely night lights. It is even better than the pictures show. Wonderful, safe, family-oriented, walkable historic neighborhood very close to both CalPoly and downtown. Cindy, the property manager, was immediately responsive to any questions we had and a pleasure to work with. All around, very classy. We would definitely return.

August in SLO

The home was spacious and accommodated our group very well. The living room sofa is comfortable but the two living room chairs were similar to camping chairs and were uncomfortable for adults. The home has excellent lighting and a beautiful and well equipped kitchen. The dining table was large and worked very well for our group. The master bathroom does not have a vent and we were instructed to open the window and shower curtain after showering to permit the humidity out of the room which seemed to work ok. The backyard has a good sized deck area and table/chairs, the remaining back yard we didn't use. There is a large tree overhanging the deck so lots of shade which is lovely, also lots of tree droppings the time of year we visited. The neighborhood is gorgeous, we enjoyed daily walks and would highly recommend this part of town. Stores are close by, Cal Poly is also very close and we enjoyed buying ice cream from the Creamery and other goodies from the Meat Processing Center on campus, highly recommend!

Thrilled once again!

Loved our 1 month stay. It's so close to downtown and all that SLO has to offer. It's a very comfortable, clean and well stocked place. It has a huge remodelled kitchen and an eclectic array of paintings and art to enjoy. We would come back again!

SLO Getaway

Cute, cute home. We had a great month’s getaway in San Luis. The house was exactly as advertised. Kitchen was stocked for any and all the cooking that we did. The master bed was so comfortable. We slept amazingly well. Our friends and family that visited while we were there enjoyed it as well. Great location with an easy walk to all that downtown SLO offers. Cindy, our contact, was very responsive to the few questions that we did have. Thanks so much for a great time away and if we decide to make a return trip, we will definitely stay here.

The house is adorable and well stocked. Lots of room for your things. The backyard is perfect for dogs, protected and large. The location is wonderful. We walked downtown often. So much to do in SLO! We will visit again and stay in this home!
