A Change In Latitudes is a non-smoking, 1st floor end unit in the serene section of Shipyard, Truman Annex. All the amenities of home and just a few steps away from the climate controlled pool and a brief stroll to Fort Zachary State Park where you'll find the most beautiful beach and picnic area in Key West.

1 block away from the famous Green Parrot and 2 blocks to Duval Street. Walking distance to Mallory Square, steps to Truman Waterfront, and all that Key West has to offer. Full size refrigerator, stove, wine glasses, blender, spices, TV with Wi-Fi and high speed internet, and DVD player.

Please send a request to book prior to entering your credit card or sending a payment. Occasionally, a guest misses some of the rules, has pets, or is trying to book years in advance. Once we accept the booking, we plan on your staying with us so up front communication prior to booking is helpful for both you the traveler and me, the host. We book 12 months in advance.

Loved Truman Annex!

We loved every aspect of our stay at the Truman Annex property! Everything was clean, comfortable and very appealing. The location served our needs perfectly. Krissy is a wonderful host. Arranging the booking was easy, she provided excellent information and kept in contact throughout our stay. Loved it all!

Simply marvellous!

First of all Krissy is fantastic to deal with! The condo was exceptionally clean!A lot of attention to details! Attractive tropical decor! From the Tommy Bahama bedding, plentiful towels, comfy bed, stocked kitchen, plentiful laundry supplies, custom closet organizers there is nothing more that one would require! The best location are Shipyards in Key West!

Best Experience Yet!

I have visited KW each year for the past 5 years with my family, always staying in Truman Annex. Although the units all look sort of similar, what Krissy included as a host was above and beyond. We stayed for 16 days, she had every detail covered! Paper products, personal care products, laundry detergent, spices and even cold drinks waiting for us on arrival in the fridge. I felt completely at home and at ease. The beds were like floating on marshmallows and the linens and towels beautiful! There was no stone left un turned and no detail forgotten. If you are looking for a condo pick this one! All you need is your clothes and yourself! Did I also mention she is one of the kindest people I have ever met....what a bonus!

Perfect Condo, Perfect Location, Perfect Everything!

The condo is located 2 blocks from the heart of all activities. No scooter or car needed when you stay here. The condo itself is newly remodeled, clean and so comfy! The decor is so cute and everything is just perfect! It is a corner condo unit which I have loved because I have sun from all 3 sides unlike some of the middle units. I have spent much of my time out on the patio soaking up the great weather. The pool area is well kept and the grounds here are well manicured! The owner has been delightful to work with and goes above and beyond to ensure I have everything I need!

Relaxing and Convenient Getaway

We stayed in this condo for a month since my husband and I are both currently working remotely. The condo was in the perfect location and both quiet, but close to many restaurants, bars, and activities. The condo comes with almost everything you could possibly need for your stay. Krissy was very accommodating and even helped us find a 2nd parking spot for family that was visiting. We will definitely be back!

A month in paradise

Property was excellent. The location was convenient to the pool and parking. Location was close enough to Duval yet far enough away. State park was an easy walk and we went to the beach a number of times. The condo was clean and had everything you would need for your time here. Krissy was on top of things and we had absolutely no issues on anything.

Great location, well equipped very comfy condo

Stayed at this Condo last year and just booked a trip for April. Generally I like traveling to different places on vacation but had such a wonderful time in Key West decided to make it a yearly trip. Change in Lattitudes is perfect, great location (can walk everywhere)very comfortable beds (surprisingly comfortable for a rental). We had a rental car and were able to take advantage of free parking pass (one of the many ammenities included) to Fort Zachary State Park Beach. This was nice since we were able to load the car with chairs, picnic food, drinks and enjoy the day at the beach. Cooked a lot of meals at the condo, relaxed on the private deck and walked to the pier for Sunset, (enjoyed the drink coupon left by the hosts. Krissy was amazing to work with, she went above and beyond what would be expected to make sure we had a wonderful stay, She definitely cares about her condo and guests. Can't wait to go back again in April.

Prestigious Tuman Annex Location

Prestigious Truman Annex location. Guarded entrance and very private access. The toughest choice to be made is to go out the door, turn left and walk to Fort Zachary Taylor Beach, go straight and walk to Mallory Square, or turn right and go to Duval Street. This unit is ground level and is walking distance to almost anything you want to see. Extremely comfortable amenities, and fully functional kitchen save big dollars on meals. Spotlessly clean, with room for 4 to 6 people to sleep comfortably. The pool is also very nice, and all the people there were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and used the kitchen to cook gourmet meals and saved our money for partying on Duval street, and sight seeing. The back porch is great for outdoor dining, and we were not bothered by bugs or mosquitoes. Our host stayed in touch just enough to make sure we had a top rate experience, without being intrusive. We plan to come back many times in the future, and hope to make it an annual tradition.

This condo is perfect! It's gated, private parking, has a washer and dryer, a pool and it is beautifully decorated! The beds are so comfortable after a long day! The owners are attentive and responsive. We loved the location and it was quiet. I would recommend to anyone!

All Around Wonderful Experience, Highly Recommended!

I live in Los Angeles and A Change In Latitudes was exactly what I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, plus more! The condo itself was very comfortable and private. It's a bottom unit away from the noise with an exclusive deck to lounge on or have a nice dinner outside. The kitchen is equipped with top of the line appliances, not to mention a fridge that can fit enough food and drinks for a family of ten! Everything was provided for me when I arrived, toiletries, fresh towels, not to mention the place was spotless. The beds are very comfortable which is perfect after a night out on Duval street, which is minutes away from the condo, walking distance. Everything great about Key West is just a few minutes walking distance from the condo as a matter of fact; Mallory Square, the pier, and Fort Zachary (a beach with some great snorkeling opportunities). I couldn't have picked a better location. Krissy and Mike were both absolutely fantastic. You can tell that they really care about your stay and want you to have the most enjoyable experience. One of the nicest and genuine owners I've come across in Key West and I've been coming to the island for quite some time. Needless to say, I'll be renting from them again for years to come. Thank you again!

Felt welcomed and at home from before we even arrived.

A change in Lattitudes is a small but cozy condo inKey West. It is well located to be within walking distance of Duval St, Mallory Square and the harbor, and Fort Zachary with a small but clean beach. The condo had such details attended to as frozen bottles of water in the freezer for the beach, a welcome book with more information to make our stay a success, cold beverages in the fridge, and all incidentals should we have forgotten anything. The condo itself was clean, well maintained, with a very comfortable mattress in the master bedroom. We slept like a rock. With all this attention, convenience and the friendliest of owners who truly welcome you, you can bet we will be back. Thank you Krissy and Mike for a wonderful stay in Key West! The key lime pie and chocolate were a very thoughtful touch.

A Change In Latitudes Is A Wonderful Change In Attitude!

I am a Nashville artist/songwriter. My husband and I stayed at Krissy's place not just for the KW Songwriter Festival, but also for an extended vacation of our own. This condo could not have been more perfect!! Everything is so nice and updated. It's ground floor, so the only steps to climb are the couple to the back deck or the couple to the front porch. Everything is well-stocked in Krissy's condo as well; plenty of towels and wash cloths, anything you need for cleaning, toiletries, etc. Not to mention...super comfortable beds!! As for Krissy, herself, we could not have rented from a more genuine, kind-hearted person! She wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed for our stay and asked us to let her know if there were any issues (there absolutely weren't) so she could fix them immediately. We definitely want to rent from her again!! 5 stars PLUS!!!

Paradise Island

We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with a 3 week trip and were so happy with our selection of this condo as our destination in Truman Annex in Key West, Fl. It was the perfect spot and the perfect owner to rent from. Krissy is the nicest, kindest and most generous and likeable person to rent from. She is prompt with return messages regarding any question you may have and is a quick problem solver, should you have any. The condo is very clean, beautifully decorated and having spent 21 days there, we enjoyed the comfort of the furniture and especially the queen bed. The location is spot on with Mallory Square and Southernmost Tikki Beach Cafe, as well as Waterfront Brewery and Schooners being approximately equal walking distances, about 20 to 25 minutes from this condo. We rented a car for the first week, however decided bikes would be much more efficient.Zachary Taylor State Park is a short 8 minute bike ride and is a beautiful beach for sunning or swimming. Morning coffee on the front porch and watching the Roosters and Hens and sometimes baby chicks greet you on their journey around Truman Annex is a treat. Dinner or a cocktail on the back deck in the evening and reminising about our day while feeling the warm breeze was our typical ending to each day. We loved everything about this trip and Krissy and Mike and this beautiful property were instrumental in this. My husband and I look forward to a return trip and this will be our destination. Thank you Krissy for all that you provide your renters and your warm hospitality.

A Little Piece of Paradise

Krissy, the owner of the condo, is one of the nicest people we have had the pleasure to rent from. She communicated with us frequently and wanted to make sure that everything would be perfect for our stay. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of this property and the amenities provided. Location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do, although if you are planning to go to Fort Zachery Taylor Park/Beach, I recommend that you rent a bike or take a cab. It's a longer walk than you might think, especially on a hot day. We visit Key West on a regular basis and definitely want to stay here again.

Awesome month in Key West

I can't say enough good things about Krissy and Mike's condo in Truman Annex. I stayed for the entire month of September and enjoyed all that Key West had to offer. The condo was so clean and relaxing and convenient (just walking or bicycling). Some days I just stayed at the condo and relaxed on the patio with a cold beer or walked a few steps to the pool and met new friends. I brought a few extras with me thinking that some things might not be available in the condo. I was wrong!!! Kris has thought of everything!!!! Dish soap, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, I could go on and on. Just bring your toothbrush. Buy a t-shirt and shorts on Duvall st. Leave your suitcase at home. Everything is here. I'm an Airline Captain (B-777) and have stayed all over the world and have seen all sorts of accommodations. This is the one that made me feel the most at home. If you love the Keys and all it has to offer, Stay Here!!!! I'll be back!!!!

Amazing Getaway

My wife and I had an opportunity to stay at Chrissy's condo last weekend, invited by my long-time friend who had rented the condo for the entire month of September. Since we both work full time, we needed to make the most of the limited time we had. It's hard to relax when you're that rushed. Despite the rush, let me say, from the moment we arrived it was obvious the condo and accommodations we're top-notch. Very nicely decorated and appointed. Clean air and no residual odors from previous visitors, despite having a fully functional kitchenette. Air conditioning worked perfectly (and indiscernible when running). Despite Key West apparently hosting one of those crazy loud Harley Davidson motorcycle weekend events, not a single Harley could be heard from the condo. We slept like lions in the Sahara. Duval Street, and all its restaurants , are only a few-minutes walk from the front door. Everything about the condo and its location in Truman Annex are fantastic! Would highly-recommend for future stays.

Perfect Getaway!

I came down to key west with my boyfriend for about two weeks. We've never been to key west before but we'll definitely be back! This condo was perfect! It's beautifully decorated and updated, which was perfect because we could use the kitchen and eat in if we wanted. It's a short walk to Duval street, so it's perfect if you don't have a car. We even walked down to the southernmost point! Over all, we loved staying here and definitely would stay again!

Perfect spot for all Key West vacationers

I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Shipyard while traveling to Key West with my family. The unit itself was immaculate: everything was clean, and there was an abundance of supplies and appliances provided that made staying there an effortless experience. The unit has ample space for a group or accompanying children, but could also be cozy enough for a couple. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the in-unit washer/dryer was a huge plus. Regarding location, the property is located within a quiet and gated community, but is a short walk from the renowned Duval street and a host of other restaurants, bars, and other attractions. Most importantly, the owners provided tips for our stay and were available to us if needed. Overall, the experience far exceeded our expectations, and we plan on staying with the owners again in the future. I highly recommend this unit for anyone looking for the best Key West experience.

Beyond satisfied!

What a terrific time we had at Truman Annex and in Key West! Our accommodations were very clean and included all of the amenities needed. The owners thought of everything and even communicated tips to make our trip even more memorable! They even sent us a whole Key Lime Pie and some chocolate covered pie on a stick! Delicious! We ate at many restaurants and took advantage of several water adventures, such as the Cool Key West Adventure, the Fury Sunset Cruise, and the Fury Ultimate Water Adventure, which was our favorite! I would recommend going to Dante's mid week to cool off at the pool bar...but be warned, on the weekends, fun but it is not a family scene! Our favorite restaurant was Blue Heaven and Better than Sex Dessert Bar! I would strongly suggest renting bicycles to get around. They just added to the fun! We would stay there again if we went back to Key West!

Relaxing and immaculate place to stay

We couldn'the ask for anything more perfect than this location. It's close to everything like the beach and dining, yet quiet. The place is comfortable and stocked with everything you need for a perfect stay. Owners are incredibly nice and accommodating. Would stay here again most definitely.

Why they chose this property

A Change In Latitudes is a quiet, relaxing end unit located on what's known as "Lazy Lane" in the Truman Annex. The unit has one parking space located near the entrance to the condo; everything you need is in walking distance. The unit is nicely appointed and updated. Most all of the amenities of home are in the unit, just read our reviews - they speak for themselves. We are just steps from the pool and a brief stroll to Fort Zachary State Park where you'll find the most beautiful beach on Key West, a full service snack bar, cafe, showers, thatch umbrellas and some fantastic snorkeling.

We used to moped through Truman Annex when we visited Key West and decided if we were ever to buy a condo, this is the perfect location. We looked at 5 different units in Shipyard and ultimately this unit "spoke" to us and reminded us the most of home.

What makes this property unique

George Foreman grill, spices, wine glasses, blender, toiletries, dishwasher, full size refrigerator are included in your use of the condo. Back Patio is peaceful and serene - surrounded by palm trees. If you find something you need for your stay, just let us know and we'll ship it to you.
