This mountain cabin was perfect for our large family. The large living area and open kitchen made for a great space to spend time together, while the bedrooms provided peaceful areas for rest. The home’s location is close to town and easily accessible balanced with the serenity of the river.
The home was just as described. Very spacious. The directions to the house were a little confusing, stating to go past the metal barn, but the turn is before the metal barn. Mule deer were on the property each day and that was fun to see. Unfortunately, the town of South Fork did not have restaurants that were good and there is no grocery store. We had to drive to Del Norte to get groceries and have a nice meal out.
Really enjoyed our stay and the evening view was amazing
This was a great house and stay. We have a family that plays golf, fishes and rides ATVs. It was great to comeback to the house and chat about the day on the deck.
We had a great time, the house is very comfortable and the floor plan really keeps the bedrooms quiet and isolated from activities in the living area. Highly recommend
Despite all the bugs in June it was really amazing staying right on the river. The kids enjoyed seeing ducks and beaver and all the birds. Great location.
The house is great! The view from the back porch is exactly what you want when visiting Colorado. It was plenty of room for our group of 14. The drive to Wolf Creek was absolutely stunning and only about 25 mins. We would definitely stay again!
Overall a exceptional time and a Fantastic Cabin, only issue is the Microwave handle was damaged and the shelfs in Fridge need to be replaced. Skiing at Wolf Creek was always the best.

Our experience was wonderful. The house was perfect for our family of 6 kids and 6 adults. There was plenty of room and we were very comfortable. The scenery was awesome and the house had everything we needed.
We had a great time, thanks!
Very comfortable and nice home. Well suited and complete for anyone's vacation. A really restful stay after driving from Georgia. Plenty of room and privacy for everyone. Clean home but a little dusty and a few spiderwebs. I would suggest a window covering in the downstairs bdr on the river side. Sun comes up in your face if sleeping. We liked it and recommend your renting it. Thanks.

Thank you for your feedback. We live in an area without the need for air conditioning and open our windows frequently creating a dusty environment. We deep clean the home during "off peak" times to address the cobwebs. All ceiling fans and light fixtures have been cleaned. I will suggest the window treatment to the homeowner.
We appreciate your business.

Stayed here with 3 families and a total of 5 kids. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. Loved the area for snowmobile riding, and playing in the snow. I gave the cleanliness of the house only 2 stars and that was generous, because there was spider webs everywhere, door frames/fans etc and dust in the corners.
The “full kitchen” needs updated as far as cooking pots/pans and dishes. Also there was food/condiments/drinks left in the fridge/freezer. Not clean at all.
But all that aside, we did have a good week and enjoyed the visit up to South Fork.
The location was great, with the house right off the river. A great size patio and an open kitchen/living room that is perfect for family gatherings. The bedrooms were good sizes so that you had enough room to walk around and wasn’t so tight with all the luggage one has. I had zero contact with the host other than to see where to put the trash but there was a sign on the side of the fridge that we didn’t notice until after contacting the host stating to bring the trash to another location entirely or else be charged extra. Luckily someone in our party had a truck but it was highly inconvenient to haul off our own trash to this location. Typically they have a binder of house rules and different things to do around the area but we didn’t find the book until day 4 of our stay, as it was in a pile of magazines under a coffee table. There were no instructions on what needed to be done before leaving the property and the kitchen wasn’t stocked great with the half full roll of paper towel. Overall we had a great stay, just felt like there a lack in communication or expectations since it wasn’t said straight forward.
It was the best an relaxing place ever .We didn't want to leave !!!!! We cannot wait to go back!!!! No words can express the way the cabin feels !!!! ❤️
The home was very accomodating and had plenty of room for us. We enjoyed the spacious living area and kitchen. The views off the decks were amazing and it was enjoyable to watch a bald eagle visit the river behind the house every day. My only suggestion would be to lower the television in the living room because it was so high it strained our necks watching it. We really loved the house and location and hope to visit again soon!
This property was perfect for our group of 8 who traveled to find deep snow for snowmobiling! Everyone had their own bed with room to spread out. The kitchen, dining, and living room are all in a common area with the bedrooms in a separate area for quietness if others stay up late. The decks looked amazing for summertime relaxing although we mostly stayed inside. We were able to park 2 enclosed trailers and 3 more trucks although we had to back the trailers down the driveway.
Perfect for large groups, great location, and very pretty. The only issue was there was not enough toilet paper.
