About this property

Escape to the Chamonix Valley

The Farmhouse is a beautiful Savoyard Chalet located in the heart of Les Houches, just 200 metres from the nearest ski lift (Bellevue Cable Car) and the village’s other amenities.

It is a traditional farmhouse which has been lovingly and sympathetically restored. The chalet is bursting with character with original wooden beams and a double height living room with a wood burning stove. It has a large terrace with fantastic mountain views of the Aiguille du Midi and the St Marie aqueduct.

The Farmhouse has six double or twin bedrooms and a bunk room, all with en-suite bathrooms. It benefits from an outdoor hot tub with wonderful alpine views. It has two living rooms and two kitchens. Maximum group size, including infants, is fourteen.

Guests enjoy access to wifi and have use of a heated boot room and private parking for up to three cars. Travel cots and high chairs are available (three of each).

The chalet is offered on a self-catering basis but we can put you in touch with a variety of catering options.

My hillwalking club from Aberdeen, UK, had a wonderful week in this beautiful chalet. It is ideal for a walking holiday. The public transport in the Chamonix valley is excellent, so no need for a car.

Great location

Great location for slopes, boulangerie, fromagerie! Kitch Inn good for apres ski. House creates a great place for get-togethers. Rooms a little small but overall house is cosy and warm with great views.

Great stay in Les houches!

Lovely big space. Rooms are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Great location 2 min from the Bellevue lift with local shops and restaurants. Boot room is good too and accessable parking.

Fantastic base

Brilliant base for large group, well equipped chalet. Chalet owner very amenable and easy to communicate with. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay!

We had a fantastic stay! Anna’s place is in excellent location, in short walking distance to ski lifts, buses, shops and restaurants. The buses are running so often and are for free if you have a ski pass or a bus pass which Anna provided us with. We were a group of 14, the chalet was super clean, each room has en-suite which each one of us loved. When we had a quick question about where to find something, Anna was really helpful and super quick responding. Really really great stay, we recommend!!!

Hillwalkers in Les Houches

13 members of a hillwalking club stayed in this property in Les Houches. It was wonderful! There are 7 bedrooms, each of which can have 2 people and each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The dining room table had space for all of us. There is also a lovely balcony and two lounge areas. And a hot tub! I thoroughly recommend it for large groups.

Grand chalet familial

Nous avons globalement passé un bon séjour, le chalet est adapté au groupe de 15 personnes sans souci. Seul bémol : proximité autoroute.

Beau chalet mais perfectible

Chalet bien placé avec une vue superbe sur la chaîne du Mont Blanc. Dommage que la propreté de certaines pièces laissait à désirer (une chambre dont la poussière tombait du plafond, une autre ou le lit n’était pas fait, les draps de 2 lits étaient sales, la terrasse aurait besoin d’un bon coup de nettoyage). Le robinet de la cuisine du haut coule presque au goutte à goutte. En revanche, la personne qui gère le chalet a été super agréable et réactive en allant acheter de nouveaux draps et alèses le soir même. Rassurez vous, nous avons tout de même passé un super séjour !

Amazing!

We had a group of 12 staying in the farmhouse and could not recommend more. The chalet is so close to the lift and bars, restaurants and ski hire shops. The chalet itself is huge, with ample space for big groups and the two kitchens definitely come in handy. Both Anna and her contacts in the area were fantastic, very quick to respond to any emails and very accommodating for check-in and check-out arrangements. Would definitely return!
