Wonderfully decorated and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do and see. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy Mount Gretna like a native.

Mount Gretna is so exciting during the Art Show. Held the 3rd full weekend of August each year, it is, without a doubt, the busiest you will see the area year-round.
Visitors come from all over the country, reserving cottages months in advance, just to be here for that weekend and to be a part of all the fun. We love that you got to experience it and had an incredible time.
Really enjoyed our stay- we were in town for a family reunion and stayed for a long weekend. Cottage was very clean and was advertised as pictured. Loved all the decor and it was very quiet and peaceful

We love to hear that you enjoyed a very quiet and peaceful weekend here in Mount Gretna. Thank you so much for the nice review, and for being great guests. We would love to have you come again soon.
Great four-bedroom seasonal cottage for a family visit with siblings coming from three different Pennsylvania locations. While unseasonably cool, the gas-fired fireplace quickly warmed the cottage, ground and upper floors. Enjoyable stay.

The living room fireplace is great for a cozy evening together! We are so glad we were able to be a part of bringing siblings together. We know how special family vacations are, and hope lots of memories were made during your stay.
This is a very cozy cottage that feels like visiting your grandparents house or a summer lake/ hunting cabin, very spacious. We had a great time. We loved the porch swing, the smell of wood and old antique furnishings. It’s is nestled into a cute community of houses that have walking paths, everything is walking distance in Mt Gretna. A slice of Americana summer time paradise.
This 1st Street cottage did not disappoint. The perfect description is a traditional cottage with modern updates in the kitchen and bathroom. If you explore the kitchen and dining area cupboards, there are extensive place settings, serving bowls, and glasses. Also some small appliances. The wrap around porch is a plus. Loved our weekend at this property.
Great area and cute house. We loved it! Will definitely stay again.

Thanks so much for the 5-star review. We would definitely welcome you back anytime.
If you need a rustic hunting cabin that brings joy and togetherness, this is the spot! Breakfast on the porch and games in the evening were perfect!

Breakfast on the porch sounds great. Thanks for the 5-star review, Shelby! Joy and togetherness is all we could hope for our guests during their Mount Gretna stay. Thanks so much for sharing.
Just charming and rustic! The kitchen is well-appointed. The overall vibe is old-school lakehouse/ cabin/ camp. The porch is to die for. We had never been to Mount Gretna before, but chose it because it was very close to the PA Renn Faire, which we were attending with our children and their spouses. I would recommend 100%. Please note, the houses are very close together, so maintaining the quiet the neighbors expect and deserve may be difficult with pets.
It is always a pleasure to welcome back guests to Mount Gretna. We are so happy to hear you loved the cottage. Looking forward to hosting you and your family for future stays!
This property was great for our family. Plenty of places to sleep, very quiet and comfortable. My husband and I sat on the porch swing every night and enjoyed the cool evenings together.

We love that you and your husband enjoyed the porch. The canopy of trees covering the cottages always seems to keep Mount Gretna a few degrees cooler - even on the hottest days! Part of its unique charm, for sure.
Wrap-around porch elevates outdoor living. Functional kitchen makes meal times easy. Four bedrooms give everyone their own space. And there’s parking! We would be happy to stay again at this quaint and comfortable cottage.

Thanks for your 5-star review, Peter, and for a perfect description of this cottage - it really provides all the basics and plenty of space for an excellent home base, as you described. The location is great too! We would be very happy to have you return anytime!
We had a lovely time staying at this property. The cabin was charming and antique with a huge porch. We loved the claw foot tub, the fireplace, and the proximity to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. We only wished we'd had more time and indoor space to hang out together!

Thanks for the 5-star review, Emily, and for being great guests. Mount Gretna is a perfect location when visiting the Renaissance Faire. We would love for you to come again this Fall!
Charming area and home. However, not the best experience for our family due to July heat and power outage. The listing states that cottage is air conditioned, but has only one window unit to serve the entire second floor and one on the first floor. We needed to sleep with windows open which made the fire sirens on both nights especially unwelcome.

Thank you so much. We appreciate you mentioning the air conditioning. We contacted the owner to recommend additional A/C units be installed in the bedrooms. This summer has been very hot and humid, and we know how important it is to have a cool and refreshing escape each night.
Hopefully soon, with modern technology and cell phones, the fire siren will become a thing of the past. We do our best to give guests a head's up in the Welcome Guide but know it can be daunting!
Mount Gretna is served by a volunteer fire company that is alerted to a wide range of emergencies by a fire siren which can sound at all hours of the day and night - it is loud and repeats three times.
Even if we wouldn't have had perfect weather to explore the neighborhood, we could have just enjoyed more time at the comfy cozy cottage.

Cozy but needed some cleaning
Great neighborhood to stay in. House was cozy and had a nice rustic charm. Shower curtain was covered in mold and dusting and vacuuming was needed, but we still had a great time.

We take any and all feedback received seriously - anything lower than a 5-star review is disappointing!
Lovely Cottage, It was clean, neat and interesting. It would have been nice to have functioning porch lights.
