The cabin is outfitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay while you're exploring the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whether you're attending a horse show at the Tryon International Equestrian Center; hiking in the Hickory Nut Gorge; rafting one of the many rivers in the area or exploring the hamlets of Lake Lure, Chimney Rock or Rutherfordton, Piney Knob Cabin is the perfect jumping off spot.

I really wanted to post a negative review of this cabin because I want it to remain a secret and available down the road, but I won't do that. It was lovely. Evenings and nights sitting on the covered porch watching for fireflies and listening to the bullfrogs was an amazing experience. It was extremely peaceful and it had a hot tub. We will definitely be back in the near future.

This was just wonderfull! This is a perfect get away for couple's. It was peaceful and quiet. And we had such an amazing week staying here.The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, we didnt need to leave to get any supplies. The hot tub was perfect and we spent most of our time relaxing in it. We ate every meal out on the porch, and had no issue with bugs or rodents. We recommend this spot, especially for someone looking for a peaceful, quiet, and enjoyable experience.
