Our host was amazing !!! She had given us so much information on history, places to visit and restaurants. The home was so open and inviting, beautifully landscaped and amazing deck overlooking the water. This was the perfect getaway from everything!!! I will be most definitely coming again next year to carry on the family tradition and to share this experience with my children and grandchildren.

Thank you so very much..I so enjoyed meeting and talking with you...and thank you for the wonderful job taking care of my home....you left it in A condition!! Have a great rest of summer
Our host Nancy was more than accommodating and gracious. The home was clean and comfortable. It was located near many attractions and hiking paths. We, by luck were greeted to an airshow by the Blue Angles flying overhead! The home had everything you needed, the kitchen was well equipped and the outside grounds and gardens were a delight. Beautiful flowers, pathways and plantings all around the home. The best thing was the awesome water view right from the house. So relaxing and peaceful. Thank you for a very enjoyable week Nancy!

Thank you so very much for your kind words..I sooo enjoyed our conversations. It is a magical spot which you both understood....and for me to get the Blue Angels to perform for your visit was frosting on the cake!! Lol have a great summer ☀️
Our stay during the month of July was perfect. Spectacular View. Amazing Landscape. True Maine cottage feel. Felt warm & inviting. Loved the sunroom & back deck & all the windows!! Nature filled yard and all the amazing birds! The environment was so peaceful that my husband relaxed and slept until noon each day. I so wished we could live there. :-)) The homeowner, Nancy, is a generous, fun, kind, and a friendly encyclopedia of Maine history and life in general. Waiting for her to write a book. Speaking of books, there were so many great books and magazines. I especially loved the cookbook located in the living room magazine rack next to the sofa. I loved looking at all the decorations, and unique things. By far my favorite thing was sitting on the back deck and watching the day go by.

Thank you... ..so enjoyed meeting you both..enjoy the rest of your summer
We absolutely loved the beauty and peacefulness of this property! Nancy is a great host and provides great recommendations! Highly recommend if you are looking for a beautiful and quiet getaway.
The location of this house couldn't be better. A gorgeous view of the deep water Long Reach (no mud flats) from the picture window and an ample deck. Beautiful, well-maintained gardens surround the home. The house itself was roomy and the kitchen is well equipped. There is good cell phone reception and using your personal hotspot works well.
The house is a beautiful small home. The gardens were just gorgeous. And the view, oh the view was absolutely amazing. It made for such a peaceful break in our crazy busy lives.

I'm so happy you enjoyed yourselves...you all were wonderful guest thank you
My wife and I made our first trip to Maine. This home has a beautiful setting that overlooks the intercoastal waterway. The flowers and gardens add a colorful charm. The location is convenient for day trips to Brunswick, Bath, Boothbay Harbor, and Popham beach. Nancy is a great host who is happy to provide information about the area.
The views were so beautiful and very peaceful!
The home has memorabelia from the surrounding areas that were very interesting. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the sunroom with a view
Of the extensive gardens and flowers. Even in the rain there were multiple places to sit to enjoy the water. Host was very friendly and gave us lots of helpful hints!
For those who love the quiet, a deck on the water and the natural beauty of Maine, this is the place. Great experience, close to many fine restaurants on Harpswell, and things to do from sailing to shopping. Owner was so attentive to our needs and made us feel at home in her corner of heaven!! THANKS

Your welcome...I especially love that you so enjoyed this beautiful spot...it is special ... You "got" it....a little bit of paradise ...puts a smile on one's face from the sunrise to the sunset... enjoyed meeting you all...
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nancy was so welcoming and we so enjoyed our conversations. The house is very comfortable and peaceful, it’s all on one floor. Sitting on the deck in the evenings, overlooking the water of Long Reach inlet you can “hear” the silence and watch the sunset. Beautiful view of the water as well from the living room and the sunroom. Her flower gardens bring a smile to your face. A great place to go to get away from the day to day rush.

Thank you twin!! lol..so enjoyed meeting you both...have a great rest of summer and get ready for the snow!!! hope to see you both next year if all works out..s
The owner was spectacular. Our flight arrived late and she knew the nearby restaurants were closing soon. She told us to go eat first and then she would check us in -- which turned out to be just after 9 pm.
The patio / deck was probably the most used space by the 4 of us. We enjoyed visiting and taking in the incredible beauty of the area ... both as we all started the day and especially each evening as the sunset off the horizon from the deck..
We were easy access to Harpswell, Brunswick, Boothbay, Camden and other areas. It was the exact trip that we needed.

Thank you for your kind words...I so enjoyed meeting you all and so happy you enjoyed yourselves!! Maine is special with many beautiful little towns and am so pleased you got to spend time in those you did!! Please come back and thank you for being such thoughtful guest!!
Amazing experience! First of all, the property is not only clean but classy. Location is perfect! We feel like at home away from home. The little birds, big turkeys, and chipmunks in the backyard make the stay extra interesting. We went to the Wolfneck State Park, which is great for shell fishing (no license required); We also went to Orre Island and Baileys Island to visit the lobstermen and watch sunset. Best spot to see sunset is at the foot of the Nerrow Bridage. Buying fresh lobsters from the boat at Glenns Lobsters dock is another great experience. 8/lbs is a steal! Last but not the least, Nancy is a wonderful host! She is a well educated lady who is also pretty handy, she decorated the house and yard very very very nicely! As a host, she is knowledgable, curtious & considerate. This is THE BEST vacation rental we have ever had! Will definitely return again in the future. Thank you Nancy!!!!
We arrived Sunday afternoon for our honeymoon, and met Nancy there. She is most gracious and welcoming!
After a rainy Monday spent relaxing after a hectic 2 weeks prior (we planned our own wedding), the rest of our week was sunny and seasonably cool for mid-September.
The house is in the middle of quiet woods, storybook charming, cozy, fully appointed for a week's vacation. We couldn't have asked for a better setting/location! Did I mention the house is perfect? Spotless! The view of the inlet below the house is stunning. We saw eagles, cormorants, other birds, seals, and watched the tides ebb and flow from the deck. Walking back towards the main road, there were egrets and herons at the causeway to the island. Nancy said there might be deer about, but weren't seen.
Seriously, there are no superlatives to adequately describe our enjoyment! Eat a meal on the deck or inside in a delightful addition to the main house, or for a more formal setting, in the dining room. Nancy has cultivated some lovely flowers about the outside guarded by gnomes.
Everything is provided including linens. Stop at the grocery in Brunswick before you arrive, or there are a few local convenience stores in the area; you must bring your own food.
Speaking of food, there's plenty of opportunities to sample the very freshly caught seafood and other delights for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Play tourist and explore! You won't be disappointed! We'll be back, for sure.
Lovely gardens surround the home. Very relaxing and restful. Enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks on the back deck. Butterflies and hummingbirds were daily visitors. Wonderful host.

The property is in a great location and the host has put decades of love and care into the garden and the estate. The host was overboard with her hospitality which was not my style this trip, unfortunately. There was NO internet and no WiFi. I was disappointed to learn this at check-in when I planned to work remote and was unable due to the misinformation in the ad. Otherwise, it was excellent to unplug for the weekend in a true oasis. The house is vintage in all the wonderful ways and did irritate my allergies just as a warning to other sensitive folks. The host called me immediately after booking and proceeded to send a text or email and phone call daily the week before my two night trip. We had barely returned from a beach day to change attire before heading out to dinner and the host was making her way up the path for a visit. She was a wealth of history and recommendations. The host required a notice before checkout in order to have a meeting to review the trip before checkout.
Nancy, was an incredible host with an incredible place.....you can tell from the moment you arrive how much pride and love Nancy has for the home and the great state of Maine. The house has amazing views from the deck to watch the sunrise and sunset or just to sit and relax all day....the place was clean as a whistle and tucked quietly away of the beaten path.....we enjoyed how much enthusiasm Nancy brought to informing us about the area and the house she grew up in.....if we come back Nancy is our go to!
I loved this house! It’s out of the way, but so close to anything you could ever want to see in mid coast Maine. It was like coming home every time we drove down the road, over the causeway and up to the house. It was so quiet and peaceful and our host Nancy was such a huge help in giving recommendations for our daily adventures. She is very knowledgeable about the area. She was always available but never in our way. The house has been lived in and loved. It’s not a sterile, no personality place to be there only to sleep. It’s the kind of place you want to look around and explore. I especially loved the view from the back deck and all the pretty flowers. I would love to visit again some day.
Very nice location, very quiet and remote. Nice views of the ocean tidal flats from the house. The site needs WiFi and a better tv and the rugs were a little too dusty for my allergies.
Great peaceful getaway centrally located to just about everything we wanted to see. Loved it and the local history Nancy provided.
