Why Michael Harman chose Cawsand
Previously a Trinity House Building used to service the fog horn (no longer in operation!) and the Eddystone Lighthouse 7 miles away. There is still a flag pole on the lawn! So the house is full of history and the location is unique.
What makes this House unique
Surely one of the best spots to watch boats coming and going in the whole of the UK! A great place to spot migratory birds too and with an RSPB Reserve above the house. A sandy beach below the house and a lovely woodland walk into the quaint seaside village of Cawsand where a ferry from the beach can take you to Plymouth Hoe. The Old Signal House seems to have it all!
