Large house of 300 square meters with 1 floor and a beautiful garden with swimming pool.
On the floor you will find 3 rooms of 20 square meters one with room of water and the other 2 rooms share a complete bathroom.
On the ground floor an average room with double sofa bed.
The house has a very nice kitchen and an adjoining laundry room.
Possibility to park your car in the front garden if the car has a maximum size of Golf.
The accommodation is very quiet and the city center is easily accessible by car 10 minutes, 25 minutes walk, bike 15 minutes.

Great House in lively area

The property was spacious and clean. We were shown round by the owner. The pool was lovely and the garden very private. The area is quiet but only a few minutes walk to tram right into central Bordeaux. Trams and buses frequent and cheap. Bordeaux is an amazing beautiful city. Everyone friendly and most people sprak some English which was a bonus as our French isn't great.

Bordeaux suburb

We loved this house and it's location! The house is very comfortable, and I wish that we had friends in Bordeaux that we could have hosted in the beautiful great room that opens to the large yard and pool! The owner suggested a couple of very good restaurants walking distance to the house, which turned out to be fantastic, and the train into town was very simple and close by....8-10 minutes into town by train. We didn't spend too much time by the pool, but we did use it to plunge in and cool off after hot days spent in town and at the wineries nearby. We rate it 5 stars!

Great location in Le Bouscat, Bordeaux

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Primerose for 11 nights in August. The home is spacious and we (an extended family of 6) found the kitchen to be well-equipped. We cooked lots of meals with an ease that we haven't experienced in other homes we have rented. The home is also well-located. We were very close to a bus stop to go into Bordeaux (the bus runs every 15 minutes). The home is also a quick walk to a nice supermarket and restaurants. Our favorite part of the holiday was our daily walk through the nearby Parc Bordelais--it's amazing! You could easily stay here without a car, and the taxi fare from the airport is about €30 (quite reasonable). An easy change that would make the home more enjoyable has to do with the garden. The large shrubs offer privacy, but they are massively overgrown. This combined with daily irrigation makes the garden a breeding ground for mosquitoes, and it leaves the pool too cold to use in the heat of August. If the shrubs were maintained and the garden allowed to dry under the decking, it would be a lovely space to spend time. The homeowners are friendly quick to help, making the home a good choice for families wishing to rent in Le Bouscat.

Not ideal for families

These hosts honestly do not seem comfortable, renting out their home. Our stay began with a 45 minute walk-through of all of the house rules, complete with a long printed list, including which rooms have been recently painted on the walls. Lots of things throughout the house are covered, which made it very awkward to maneuver around such as covers on the sofa as well as cloth covers on the kitchen countertops. It was very stressful during our stay with small children to make sure that we were being respectful of the property with so many rules. Why I always try and be respectful of other peoples homes, I feel like they have to have a certain level of trust when renting it out to others. It was also very stressful during our check out that the host insisted the house had to be as clean as we found it despite the fact that we paid a cleaning fee. Otherwise, the house is very beautiful and spacious. Our other main issue was there were a lot of mosquitoes. Even our friends who have lived in Bordeaux said that this place was unusually bad, to the point that one of the children had to go to the doctor for the number of bites they received.

Idéale

Superbe maison avec de très beaux espaces. Jardin et piscine idylliques. L'emplacement dans un quartier calme permet d'allier farniente et activités selon l'envie du moment. La maison et les extérieurs sont extrêmement bien entretenus. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et disponibles. Bref des vacances qui permettent découvrir la région dans des conditions de rêve.

Great holiday

Owner met us at the property and was very helpful, our family had a great time especially the children with the pool, very large house with plenty of room inside and outside. Close to shops and bus line into Bordeaux. The large awning over the deck helped keep the house cool. The family could not be more helpful and were at the end of the phone for any help or assistance they could give. Bordeaux is a great city " we will be back "

Beautiful and calm oasis

This was such a lovely house to stay in. Quiet, immaculate and spacious. The private outside space was such a treat, and very relaxing option while exploring Bordeaux. We appreciated the beautiful house, and that there were spices and some groceries in the fridge. Very welcoming, and a great help when on holiday. Thank you very much for all your help and kindness.
