El realismo mágico hecho cántabro

Amo todos los valles, caminos, rincones que gravitan en torno a la carretera que une Liérganes con la Cavada. Uno de sus más hermosos secretos es este mágico lugar. Además, Marta, la dueña, lo tiene puesto con todo el cariño. Me ha encantado tener la oportunidad de pasar una semana en este viejo molino.

El molino es una casa preciosa. Tiene un jardín repleto de flores y muy bien cuidado. Volveremos si podemos por supuesto! Saludos desde Sevilla!

Great stay in a beautiful house

Host Marta is very welcoming and full of useful information, communicated in Spanish. The house is homely, clean and cottagey, but rooms are large and beds very comfortable. It's next to a stunning and very cold stream that became a river after rains. The village of Leirganes is 20 mins from Santander but has a totally different feel. It's a good place to visit the stunning mountains and gorgeous hill-towns like Potes, Fuente De with the 1,800m cable car in the Picos Europa National Park. We also recommend Bilbao and the Guggenheim, that and Picos are approx 80 mins away. Lierganes is a pretty, small town with a few restaurants and cafe's by the river. Highly recommend - a lovely weeks stay.
