Loved being in Building 50, all you had to do was wander downstairs to shop, or eat, or get your exercise minutes in for the day. I love old historic buildings and this one is top notch. Condo was wonderfully clean, quiet, and perfect for two couples away for a long winter weekend.
This was a really charming property. The space is beautiful and roomy enough to host an entire family with four beds. It was also very attractively decorated with cozy, modern decor. We felt like we were in an artist’s loft. It offers a full kitchen if you want to cook, as well as board games and just about anything else you might want or need. The location was pretty fascinating, because there are shops and restaurants in the bottom level of this historic building. We ate at the brunch restaurant twice, because it was so delicious. We also enjoyed browsing the shops that are run by local businesses. It was a short drive to downtown Traverse City, where you can enjoy other retail and restaurant options. The pricing was very affordable, and we plan on returning with the rest of our family!
Enjoy biking and hiking the numerous trails throughout the area. perfect for family memories. Nice historical buildings with unique shops and taste restaurant. Convenient access to the beaches and very comfortable place.
We weren't sure about staying at the former asylum, but ultimately, the room and the overall complex was amazing. We felt good vibes the entire time... even during our tour in the dark.
Very well-appointed kitchen and bathrooms, exceptionally clean, conveniently located near adorable shops, restaurants, wineries, and breweries. Management was super responsive and easy to work with to make our stay perfect. The spooky historical vibe was fun as well! The spiral staircase to get to each floor was fun for our girls weekend and we were able to view gorgeous sunrises out the windows, overlooking the historical spires.
Beautiful home base for our TC Easter vacation! Clean, roomy, and centrally located for all the sights we planned on seeing. We all had a wonderful time in our very spacious condo!
The property was a great space and location for our moms getaway! Everything was clean and comfortable and all amenities were available for us to cook, shower and enjoy our time away very easily :)
Overall our stay was really good. It was nice to have some board games on hand and had a good impromptu few hours of fun games to play. We would visit again in the future.

Why they chose this property
This is my absolute favorite property to have a girls trip at. It is in the most unique building. Hard to beat being an elevator ride away from great restaurants and shops.
