The property is exactly as advertised. Great Location, although a bit taxing on the calf muscles in the early days! The pool was just what was needed as the temperature climbed into the upper 30s. The full kitchen was handy, as was the washing machine. Burgau itself is a wonderful village with a friendly bunch of locals. The restaurants are mostly very good and value for money. The local supermarkets carry most of what you need and if not, Luz is 10 mins away by vehicle.Roger (Host) is communicative and happy to answer any questions. All in all, I would be happy to stay in this property and visit Burgau again.

This was a beautiful property just as advertised and described. The host was very prompt whenever we made contact and always helpful to resolve our questions.Clean and everything you need to have a great time away from home. Comfortable bed and furnishings and lovely patio and pool.Will be back for sure!

Burgau holiday home

Great house on the outskirts of Burgau town within walking distance to restaurants and beach. Beds firm and comfortable lovely pool to cool down at and very good bathrooms.

Lovely spot,

As was described. Lovely location, close to the village. Missed not have some basics as salt, pepper etc. Not a great coffee machine in the unit, but good coffee in the village. Lovely walks along the shore and restaurants with great food.

Delightful village vacation

The village of Burgau is delightful - it contains small shops and restaurants, all within a short walk. The beach is sandy and has beautiful cliffs on either side. The townhouse was perfect for two couples, with plenty of room inside and outside for rest and relaxation. It was clean and well equipped. Our only complaint was that the coffee maker was crummy!

Incredible villa for a peaceful holiday

We've had our loveliest, most peaceful holiday at this villa. Everything about the villa was spot on, from the spaciousness to the pool (which we spent most of our time in!). We're so lucky to have found this place, as well as the beautiful village of Burgau right on our doorstep. The communication from the owners was great, and the booklet of advice and recommendations was a lovely touch. I would only say the kitchen could be a little better stocked in terms of things like salt, pepper, sugar and cooking oil etc, but we were able to source these ourselves and this did not detract from the wonderful experience we had. We will definitely be back!

Excellent accommodation, highly recommended!

The accommodation is located about 5min from the beach (walking distance). The neighbourhood is very quiet and there is plenty of parking in front of the house. It is also great that you could barbecue on the terrace. Communication was smooth and all questions were answered quickly and easily. The house was cleaned once a week and there were new towels. The pool was also cleaned during our stay. Burgau as a village is very nice. There are many restaurants and bars. We would definitely come back. Thank you very much!

Below Average Stay

We have just come back from a 9day break at this villa and to be honest it wasn’t great. The location of the villa is ok probably 10minutes walk to the beach but it is steep coming coming back, the villa is also on quite a busy road and is pretty much opposite the Nova Beach Club, I mention this as the place does nice food and drink but also has live music, Saturday night was Texhnofunk night and finished at 4am so you can’t park your car and also you will get no sleep they have other live music nights as well which you can here from the villa. The villa itself looks a lot more tired than the photos show, all the bathrooms need upgrading & the kitchen is looking tired, on the upside the pool area is well kepr but it is cold. The cleanliness of the villa is nothing to right home about either the toilet & kitchen were not that clean & the lampshades in the bedroom were thick dust the whole place needs a proper deep clean. There is no welcome pack on arrival which is a bit annoying & no mod cons. For 300euros a night go somewhere else this place is not worth the money

The small village streets in Burgau lead down to the safe sandy beach. There is a TukTuk service around the village. The cleaning staff and manager are regularly praised for their attention to detail so complaints about housekeeping are surprising and we are very sorry that you found shortcomings. Thank you for letting us know as it is important to ensure that standards are maintained. We do offer a welcome pack to guests on request for late arrivals.

Vivenda muito limpa, WiFi excelente e localização de valor, perto de tudo. A casa merecia um BBQ melhor para uns grelhados de fim de tarde à beira da piscina. A piscina necessitava de limpeza mais cuidada na linha de água. No entanto, no dia da saída, já estavam a limpar a mesma.Recomendo.

Nettes Haus im schönen Burgau

Das Haus ist nett, der Pool ist toll und wurde viel genutzt. Die Ausstattung ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und könnte ein wenig Zuwendung vertragen. Alles in allem hatten wir eine schöne Zeit. Burgau ist ein wirklich hübscher Ort!

Tolle Wohneinheit in burgau

Wir haben das Objekt für 7 Tage gebucht , es liegt nach zum Zentrum mit Bars und Restaurants sowie zum Strand. Wir haben vorher tolle umfangreiche Informationen zum Ort , Einkauf und Restaurantempfehlungen erhalten. Toller Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank und viele Grüße an die Vermieter , es hat uns an nichts gefehlt!

Fabulous Place to Stay

We stayed here for 4 weeks and found it was an ideal location. Parking was right outside and the villa is well fitted out. Because it was February unfortunately for us the pool was too cold. It is just on the edge of Burgau and only a 10 minute walk from the beach. The Village/Town is lovely and everybody was very friendly. Would recommend and will be back
