Perfect for those times when you want to be in an exotic location but close enough to Quepos/Manuel Antonio for shopping and activities. The Tarzan Jungle House exceeded my expectations with 2 pools, and tropical vibe in the jungle.

wow, just wow!!

What a spectacular stay! The place is nicer than on the pictures. Juan Carlos, the property manager, just goes above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and felt like home. We actually didn’t want to leave !! The room was nice and spacious, the pool was super clean and with the slides … so much fun!!

Nice place, great view from the second floor, kitchen well equipped

We had the opportunity to try the second and first floor, since we have some details that needed to be fix in the second floor, Marlyn and Juan Carlos were excellent hosts always trying to accommodate to our needs and confort, they suggested we can use the first floor so it will be more comfortable, and it was. The Zip line to the pool is AWESOME, I used and really enjoyed it, the hot tub was nice and let you have a view to the sunset, water slide was cool and the pool night lights give a nice ambience. After a day in the near beach it was so nice to jump in the pool and later in the hot tub :-). Suitable for families or couples, you have the option to mingle or to be in your private space. The first two days we had the second floor, the first floor was occupied by a Costa Rican family, we were delighted to meet them and got invited to have a cup of traditional Costa Rican coffee, they were leaving next day, very kind and respectful people. Both floors are equipped with dishes, pans, pots, coffee maker, fridge.

Great little hidden gem

Great little property. We would stay again. The unit needs a little bit of love in the kitchen. A few too many ants in the unit but I’m sure that could be appropriately managed. My toddler loved the pools and the patio area was lovely to spend the day around.

Unique experience, with a few short comings

The place is unique and feels secluded (not totally). We generally liked the location, the property and understand we are basically in the jungle. For the price we expected at least a motel quality. Not everything was cleaned well. Towels sucked - stained and very used. Ants and bugs are expected in the jungle, but a few too many made it inside. Juan Carlos (host's man next door) was extremely nice and tried to accommodate us. We had low hot water and it turned out the solar panel was dirty. One mention and he cleaned it next morning > plenty of hot water!

So much fun, I highly recommend!!!!!

Juan Carlos and his family were extremely accommodating. They gave us a wonderful tour when we checked in, helped us with dinner options and helped us book our Macha Tour right away! They got the slide and pool prepared for our daughter and group, turned on the Jacuzzi and made sure we were settled in OK:) The studio was super clean, complete with a large shower and full kitchen! All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even the guests in the other studio extended their stay by one more night (We would’ve done the same thing although we had our flight out). We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much Juan Carlos and family!

Tarzan house

This was a great house and the caretakers were just amazing. The pool was wonderful, the apartment large and perfect. The bathrooms were glamourous. We were happy to be 20-25" away from quepos at the end of a long day.

Fantastic suite nestled in the jungle outside of Quepos

We had an amazing experience staying at the Tarzan Jungle House. The suite was nice and modern and spacious. We loved the private and secluded feel of this home. We enjoyed having our coffee outside early in the morning and then again in the evening watching and listening to all of the sounds of the jungle. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool after a day of adventure. The building caretakers Juan Carlos and Marilyn were fantastic and ensured we had everything we needed. Jeremy and Henry were fantastic guides and helped us arrange our excursions. We highly would recommend the Monkey Mangrove tour. That was our favourite day of our entire trip. Thank you very much for all you guys did to make our stay so memorable! We miss you!!

Great place to stay! Secluded, clean, fun, and charming. Difficult to find!

The place was way better than the photos and description make it out to be. Way better. The only downside was finding it. Use the gps to get into the vacinity. From there you need help because there are no signs. Get specific directions ahead of time.

Wonderful spot away from the tourist areas

This is a great secluded spot with all the amenities. Juan Carlos and Marlyn were fantastic hosts. We had a comfortable king size bed, full kitchen and jacuzzi in the bathroom. The pool and waterslide was great to just spend the day at or refresh ourselves after a day of excursions. The outdoor jacuzzi was a great cool down dipping pool. There were ziplines and beautiful landscaping around the pool that created a wonderful atmosphere. Two other units were also on the property. A two bedroom apartment down stairs and a two person tree house the was very nice. An additional unit is currently in construction and will be ready for guests in March. The outdoor shared space that includes kitchen, grill, large dining table, that also doubles as a ping pong table, along with washer and dryer is a plus. This property would be great for large family or group trip with multiple families.

I loved the zipline and waterslide into the pool. The room was giant and clean, and the bathroom was really modern. Juan Carlos set us up with a Mangrove tour where we saw all the monkeys, and through him, we also were able to get a good rate at Manuel Antonio. The only issue is that it's difficult to get around without a rental car- the bus to Quepos only runs every few hours, and Uber and taxis are expensive. I would probably suggest renting a car if it's affordable.

Great Fun!

Would we stay here again? Yes. We had 3 teenagers with us and they loved the pool, slide, ping pong and zip lines. We enjoyed staying away from touristy area and near locals. We stayed in the upstairs studio of the home and it was large enough for 5 of us. It was like new and very nice for Costa Rica standards. The host was great. We loved being in the jungle and were able to relax there in the beds by the pool and also watch rain storms come thru in those beds and stay dry. We also loved the speaker that we could hook to our phones to listen to music while we where outside. Was it a 4 star resort and everything perfect? No. But, did it supply us with a great adventure once we settled in and a lot of good memories? Yes.

Amazing! Awesome! Spectacular!

We could not have been more thrilled with our accommodations. This property met all our expectations. We met the best people who were more than willing to share their information with us. Juan Carlos & family were the best super host you could ask for. He was there to help with whatever need may arise. Juan Carlos wears many hats, he helped one family make it to the bus on time while booking the best ever Macha Tour for us, which we highly recommend. Be sure to ask for Pablo for your tour guide, he will entertain you with a wealth of information. He was funny, courteous, knowledgeable, & he was not in a rush. His boatman caught a crocodile & everyone who wanted to got to hold it! Pablo overseen each & every person handling the croc & we always felt safe. When you book your Macha Tour through Tarzan Jungle Home, you get a $25 discount, we think this is the best $40 we’ve spent & would do it again.

I love the jungle!

We had a blast! Manager set us up with a horseback tour that was absolutely spectacular. On it we saw 5 slothes, over 10 monkeys, secerval different birds and a beautiful snake in the trees. The tour guide got us some delicious coconuts that he had got down fresh from the trees. I can't wait to go back!

Borderline unsafe. Property completely under construction, would not recommend to anyone.

The description was overly misleading. The road off of the main drag was disasterously built, and took about 25 minutes to get to our apartment. There was construction under our bedroom and outside the entire time. The pool was not finished yet. The property was dangerously unready, should not be listed yet. We had to call a taxi, wait 40 minutes, then drive 30 minutes to town just for water. We did not stay the second night and instead got a hotel. I'd like to speak to someone immediately about rectifying this. I travel a lot and was excited for vrbo. Very unhappy, peter
