Beautiful location, well equipped, comfortable and homely. Very friendly and welcoming hosts - we highly recommend this place and certainly intend to come back.
This is a wonderful property that was a pleasure to stay in. It has so many lovely features and nice touches. The kitchen is very well equipped and the communal area is particularly pleasing. The view is gorgeous and the whole area was fantastic. The perfect place for a 5 day break with our 3 adult children.
We had a wonderful stay here, 20 minutes outside of Ullapool. The house was immaculate and full of light, with a nicely-equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. We could walk right out the door and down the road or up the hill for walks with incredible views. Hated to leave!
We had a wonderful stay at MacLean Cottage. A spaciius house with lots of atmosphere. But also the location was great: a beautiful view over Loch Broom and a 20 minutes drive to Ullapooland there are natural surroumdings all over. We had a warm welcome on arrival which also attributed to our stay! We would book it again if returning to this area.
We stayed here with our family and friends (6 altogether!) There was loads of space for us all with the kids using the upstairs space as a room for them to be able to play.. we also had access down to the Loch were we swam in the evening! Absolutely brilliant location and space - perfect base to explore the west coast.. thank you Tamsin and Mark for a perfect stay..
We have just enjoyed an amazing week in Loggie by the side of Loch Broom. Mark and Tamsin were fabulous hosts, the cottage was immaculate and stocked with everything from Lego for the kids, board games, tunnocks tea cakes, through to dishwasher tablets and art supplies. A truly beautiful location and a wonderful base to explore this wild landscape. Couldn’t recommend highly enough
From the minute we walked into the house we knew we were gong to have a great week staying at Loggi. The house is so welcoming it gives you hug and you can feel yourself relax. The house is exceptionally well equipped and literally has everything you need and lots of extras that make your stay just that little bit more special.
The area is outstanding, with amazing scenery with breathtaking views that are forever changing. You can enjoy just looking out of the many windows to watch the birds or the changing views or just enjoying the peace and tranquility of the area. Tamsin and Mark are excellent hosts, and made my birthday celebrations very special. Hope we can return the next time we visit this very special place.
Thrilling to find, hard to leave, impossible to forget
The only reason for a five star rating is that six or more stars are not possible – Tamsin and Mark would deserve them hands down. Friendly, helpful and with great tips (including a market with local products and one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen) they fit the stunning guest house so well. Always close to answer questions but never intrusive, just perfect.
Same is true about the place itself that could not be better equipped or furnished – a perfect homebase for exploring the surrounding area. Ullapool some 20 minutes away offers everything to replenish your stocks and great restaurants – too bad we could not visit the Summer islands by boat due to the windy weather. Good reason to come back though :)
Biggest plus might be the location of the guest house – the peace and quiet of „the end of the world“ settles in a few minutes after arrival. Friendly dogs to cuddle with complete the picture.
Would love to stay here again, one week was not enough, Tapadh leibh airson a h-uile rud!
Wunderbar!
Great stay in a lovely property. Amazing views, spacious house- pictures don't do it justice.
Lots of little personal touches including artwork, books, games and welcome pack. House had everything we needed and more . Thank you
The property was clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It has stunning views of the Loch. The hosts were just wonderful to deal with - friendly and helpful. Two of us developed Covid on the 3rd day of the holiday, and they could not have been more sympathetic and unflappable about it. For those of us who were well, it was an easy and beautiful drive into Ullapool, and the roads to the North are stunningly lovely. Lots to do in the area. Go there!
Mark and Tamsin were outstanding to work with. They provided a lot of insight in the western Highlands region. The location is fantastic to go walking and observe nature. Or, if you simply are wanting to escape the noise and hustle of urban life, this is the place to go. Accommodations were very comfortable.
My partner and I decided to spend Christmas just the 2 of us. We saw Loggie and loved it.
The property managers were very friendly and always answered our questions.
We were left in privacy during our stay and very much enjoyed our time. We have already thought about visiting again.
This was a great location for exploring the surrounding area. A beautiful home and position. It was home from home with everything you could possibly need. We had an amazing time here and would recommend to anyone. We did not get to see Mark but Tamsin was a great hostess, we arrived to a very warm welcome and lots of local treats, absolutely super.
