Charming house on Mont Saint Clair in Sète. 2 ch for 4-6 pers

Beautiful house of 110 m2 completely renovated in the "baraquette" spirit typical of Mont Saint Clair.

Located on the southern flank of Mont St Clair overlooking the city and overlooking one of the most beautiful views of Sète over the sea, the port and the Gardiole.

Garden of 1000m square calm and raised with aromatic herbs and wild corners. You will feel like you are in an isolated corner of paradise in the world ...

The 7m x 3m swimming pool, with its stone walls and its exotic wood beach, is completely integrated into the landscape.

The many terraces will give you as many opportunities to sunbathe, relax in the shade of the pines or take your meals enjoying a breathtaking view of the sea.

The city center with these lively central market halls, the canals and numerous shops and restaurants is a 10-minute walk away.

The Paul Valéry museum, the Marine Cemetery, the Panoramic of Mont Saint Clair, the Môle Saint Louis or the 'Quartier Haut' are tourist sites easily accessible on foot.

The beach is very close. The coves are a 10-minute walk away and Villeroy beach with the Lido promenade, wide sandy beaches and beach restaurants is less than 3 km away.


The house is ideal for 2 or 4, but can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 people. It is made up of:
- a bedroom with 1 double bed (160cm x 200cm) with private bathroom and toilet, (this bedroom is separate from the main part of the house)
- a bedroom with 2 small beds (90cmx190cm),
- a bathroom with toilet,
- a fully-equipped kitchen,
- a dining room (up to 8 places at the table),
- a large living room - living room that can be separated into with a convertible sofa with a double bed (140cm x 190cm).

House dedicated to family stays preferably. We will not welcome groups of young friends to organize parties or other.

Charming house

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very close to Sete town centre but quiet and tranquil with a beautiful view. It was winter and raining most of the time so we sadly didn’t get to enjoy the pool.

Beautiful house & garden

Really loved the relaxing garden & pool, so beautiful and with wonderful views. Sete is a great town with lots going on and great food - but the house always felt very calm & peaceful. Bliss.

Amazing view!

We had a wonderdul time in this beautiful house. The garden and the view are simply amazing! The house spacious and also very cozy. It is well equipped and offers many ameneties (e.g. boardgames, books, several sitting areas in- and outside...). The communication with our hosts was super easy, very friendly and obliging. We would definitely love to come back someday!

Worth the climb, every time...

This a a wonderful place to stay, very comfortable in all areas, plenty of outside furniture around the pool. It's quite a climb up from the town (conversely an easy downhill walk into town which takes 10 mins). The upper terrace offers a wonderful view of the whole bay, the beach is an easy bus ride away or a slightly longer walk. We felt the handover was a bit rushed though, however communication with the owner was, on the whole, good.

Lage war wie Beschrieben, für zu Fuss ins Städchen geht es abwärts ca. 13 Minuten. Für zurück geht es Bergaufwärts (gegen Schluss stark ansteigend) ca. 23 Minuten, je nachdem wie man gut zu Fuss unterwegs ist.Der Sandstrand ca. in 15 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar) ist sehr schön und flach abfallend. Die Wohnung war nicht überall sehr sauber gereinigt. Die WC-Anlage hatte bei der Dusche mit der Spülung Probleme. Konnten das jeweils selbst lösen. Müsste aber vom Vermieter behoben werden!Die Umgebung ist nicht gepflegt, da könnt mehr draus gemacht werden.Was noch zu erwähnen ist, dass das Eltern Schlafzimmer im Anbau vom Haus lag und nicht direkt in dem Haus miteinbezogen. Wenn mit klein Kinder nicht unbedingt geeignet.Leider hatten wir nur kurz bei Ankunft Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. War sehr Freundliche so wie auch der telefonische Kontakt mit der Vermieterin.

Maison dans un tres joli cadre, avec une vue sur la Méditerranée splendide, au calme et pas trop loin du centre ville a pieds (il faut juste un peu de courage pour descendre et monter ;-))....Tres bon rapport qualité prix, compte tenue qu'il n'y a pas de climatisation. C'est d'ailleurs peut être la seule chose quil pourrait manquer dans cette maison.

Enttäuschend

Leider entsprach unser Aufenthalt im gebuchten Haus in keiner Weise unseren Vorstellungen, die wir uns a.Hd. der Beschreibung erhofft haben. Das Objekt inklusive Garten macht einen ungepflegten Eindruck und der Pool ist ebenfalls enttäuschend. Im Garten findet man in jeder Ecke Unrat, abgestellte ausgemusterte Geräte und sonstiges. Der Pool ist stark in die Jahre gekommen (abgeblätterte Farbe, verzogene Holzdielen mit gelösten Schrauben) und wurde nicht gereinigt, was durch eine fehlende Abdeckung notwendig gewesen wäre. Die beschriebenen Sitzecken befanden sich in einem nicht nutzbaren Zustand. ( Dreckig, abgestellte und verschmutzte Gegenstände sowie verrostete Sitzmöbel) Auf dem gesamten Grundstück gab es keinen Sonnenschirm. Der im Inserat beschriebene Grill, war nicht nutzbar, da total verrostet und verdreckt. Das schlafen im Anbau war einer Zumutung, da man beide Fenster geöffnet halten musste, um Luft zu bekommen. Somit waren für die Insekten und kleinere Tiere der Eintritt frei. Die vorhandene Waschmaschine konnte man nur mit viel Fantasie nutzen, wenn man ein Plan zur Befüllung hatte, da sie nur 10cm zu öffnen war. ( Wand gegenüber ) Ebenso die im Raum befindliche Toilette. Alles in allem, sollte man hier nicht von einem Ferienhaus sprechen, sondern von einer An.-und umgebauten Gartenlaube, welche in die Jahre gekommen ist. Da sich das Objekt direkt an einer Straße befindet, hörte man Tag und Nacht die abbremsenden und Gas gebenden Fahrzeuge. Alles Enttäuschend !

Tolle Lage und Anlage

Wirklich tolle Lage mit Blick aufs Meer und tolle Anlage des Objekts mit Garten. Das zweite Schlafzimmer war in einem Anbau ohne direkte Tür zum Haupthaus. Das hatten wir so gar nicht gedacht - war aber trotzdem schön. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter für die schöne Zeit.

Unterkunft mit ganz viel Charme und Stil

Wieder einmal haben wir eine tolle Zeit hier verbracht. Eine wundervolle Unterkunft mit allem, was wir uns für einen gelungenen Urlaub wünschen. Der Austausch mit den Gastgebern hat prima geklappt - auch wenn wir leider immer noch kein Französisch können....

Nous connaissions Sète, la maison est très bien située, confortable La ville depuis le feuilleton est passée de typique à touristique Il y a encore moyen de s'y retrouver mais il faut connaître et chercher Le logement suit la tendance un max de rapport à moindre frais limite mal entretenu voir désuet

Déçus

La maison n'est pas entrenue et donc vieillissante. Elle est peu fonctionnelle Il manque un congélateur et du mobilier de jardin (2 bains de soleil pour 6 personnes) et un petit coin d'ombre pour le déjeuner. Dommage car les propriétaires sont sympa et l ,emplavement est duper ! l'emplzce

Un beau point de vue.

La maison a un très beau potentiel. La piscine est très agréable et la vue depuis la terrasse est superbe. Néanmoins, les espaces de vie mériteraient une rénovation et un peu plus d’entretien. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants. N’hésitez pas à aller à leur restaurant de plage, une belle découverte sur Sète.

Dommage qu'il y ai un manque d'entretien

Cela pourrait être très sympa si c'était mieux entretenu, c'est une propriété complètement clos avec une petite piscine, une maison principale avec une chambre et deux lits, et une annexe avec une chambre et un grand lit, donc attention si vous êtes une famille avec des enfant, vous serez dans des bâtiments séparés. Il y a une terrasse avec une vu magnifique sur la mer, mais hélas il y a un buisson juste devant l'escalier, par temps de pluie l'eau rentre dans la chambre séparée et aussi dans la véranda, il n'y avait qu'un rouleau de papier toilette déjà entamé pour 2 WC, 1 seul sèche cheveux pour 2 salle de bains dans 2 bâtiments séparés, pas très pratique, et 1 feuille d'essuie tout sur le rouleau dans la cuisine...
