Great views and helpful host!

The property in Bellano is well appointed and perfect for two or three looking to spend some down time on the lake ~ You will need your own beach towels and chairs, should you decide to enter the water on the property's back side as they are not provided. The town has intricately lined streets with charming stores and an array of wonderful restaurants on the waterfront. Take the ferry to Bellagio and skip Lake Como proper. You'll enjoy it just as much and in half the time!

Beautiful view of Lake Como

We stayed here for two nights in mid-May. The apartment was very clean, especially the bathroom, which we appreciated. It is pretty much right on the shore, and you can see the lake from the northern windows. One small drawback was the road noise- since the bedroom wall was next to the road (though on an upper floor, so it wasn't extreme). The town itself was friendly and beautiful and I was happy we were there rather than the busier next door neighbor of Varenna. The apartment was a short 10 minute walk on even terrain from the train station. Massimo's instructions for check in were wonderfully clear and easy to follow. We enjoyed our stay!
