Even though this property is located on a busy road it is very quiet and family-friendly. Modern appliances and location made this an excellent stay for exploring Front Street and the peninsulas. Just blocks from a Tom grocery store and not too far from meijer's. Checking in was quick and easy and look forward to coming back sometime. Four seasons front porch provided an excellent view of the bay and sailboat races.
Enjoyed the location and the house has plenty of room for large families. Beautiful view of the bay. Groceries, reataurants, conveince stores all within short drive.
Great property located near downtown. Jeff was very responsive and easy to work with. Family friendly and would recommend this property to anyone! Will be back!
We loved seeing all the beautiful sunrises over the bay, loved the closeness of restaurants and wineries and all the space to move around. Had a good selection of dishes for cooking. Just missing a cookie sheet. Would love to come back in summer to enjoy the patio area and be able to grill out.Would stay here again!
Our stay at the Kaiser house was great. The communication was great, the house was super clean and we loved the location. The house is super close to downtown, there is a beach nearby and the view was spectacular. It is on a main road so there was some road noise, but after the first night, we got used to that. Our one complaint would be the lack of mirrors in the bedrooms and lamps throughout the house. Seeing that there was six adults staying at the house all trying to get ready, it would be super helpful to have some mirrors in the bedrooms. The only mirrors were in the 2 bathrooms and with six people trying to get ready, it made it very difficult. The living area did not have any lamps just harsh overhead lighting so my suggestion to the owners would be to put a few lamps in the living area as well. Of course it is not a dealbreaker, but would’ve just been a little more pleasant while watching TV or reading.
We loved our stay! The location is close to everything! It is right off of the main road in TC. The noise of passing traffic bothered some in the reviews we looked at prior to our stay. There is a lot but didn’t bother us. The pics of the house are accurate. The host was very responsive to our needs and questions!
We stayed here Fri-Sun for a 40th birthday. We had 6 people in our party. The house matched the VRBO description perfectly. The outside patio was so nice to sit at in both the morning and evening and look out at the water. Being right on the main road was no issues at all for us. There was plenty of space to park which was great and we walked across the road to the marina and beach. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It's a great location if you're wanting to do both wine tasting and downtown stuff. 20 minutes from Sutton's bay and about 8 minutes to downtown TC I would say.
Property was just as advertised. Layout of house accommodated our group very well. Great location for us .. Lake right across the road. Various amenities near by. Most everything we needed to prepare simple meals at the house. Suggestion: oil the backdoor..squeaks loudly when opened. Note: we did not notify anyone of this during our stay.
Thank you so much for having us at your lovely home. Hosts were very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
We brought family up from florida to see traverse city. This home did not disappoint and made our stay MORE enjoyable! Located just across from the pier and sailboats it has a beautiful view of the east peninsula and TC. We walked along the lake both mornings enjoying the beautiful weather and being away from the hustle of town. It’s so close to town that you can walk if you like and save yourself the headache of parking. We had a little one so we chose to drive the 4 min drive.
The home was immaculate and the sleeping arrangements were good. Even though the home is situated on the busiest road in traverse it didn’t bother us one bit. We even kept the windows open for the breeze. We would highly recommend and we will definitely stay again!
Everything was perfect - just as expected, property was clean and well-equipped for our group, loved the location. We were in town for a wedding but were thrilled to enjoy the local festivities including an amazing display of July 4th fireworks right from the porch! Thank you to Jeff for a great experience!
This property was perfect for our annual sister's trip to Traverse City. The location is conveniently located in between peninsulas and 5 minutes from downtown. Lots of nearby restaurants and grocery stores. It's a quick trip to Traverse City Commons and make sure to check out the party store next door. If you are using one of the local wine tours, they will thank you. I highly recommend Traverse City Tours, LLC. Communication with our host was fantastic and check in/out was simple. Two full bathrooms was an excellent bonus. We stayed in for dinner most nights and the kitchen was well appointed with everything you might need. The property was clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a quiet country getaway - this is not the place for you - but that should be obvious based on location and the listing details. The morning view of the bay is beautiful. We thourougly enjoyed our stay and I will book again!
Wonderful spot for a family vacation. It's right across from the bay with beautiful views from the home. A few more hooks for towels and a dishwasher would have been super nice.
Great location, plenty of beds for all of us and everything we could possibly need. View was great! Road noise is there but did not bother us at all. We would love to stay here again next year!
While there were only six of us, the property easily accommodates several more. Very clean and organized. There is a major road in between the property and the waterfront, but not significant enough to take away from the phenomenal view! Jeff was super responsive to all my questions. Great communication! Would definitely use again in the future.
Everything was wonderful. Views are so amazing. Great if you have kids for the bunk beds.
