This house has a six (6) person guest limit. This is not a "party house". If that's what you want, that's fine, but please look elsewhere, because loud and late parties will be shut down, and eviction may occur. Small, relatively quiet gatherings are welcome.

This quaint updated mid-century modern home features woodgrain vinyl planking installed 12/2021 over a cork underlayment providing a soft and quiet surface for your bare feet, updated kitchen and bath with granite counters. One of the best canal water views on Galveston's West End with lots of windows. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second has 4 single beds (including daybed with trundle).

NOTE:
Amenities Include: Central air/heat, TV's in all rooms living room and both bedrooms, Internet, DVD player (with selection of DVD movies), gas BBQ grill, 2 kayaks, plenty of outdoor furniture including dining table.
Microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, dishes, toaster, linens and towels furnished. Public boat launch at Jamaica Beach marina.

Pets OK with upon approval and $100/pet non-refundable deposit. Non-aggressive breeds only.
No smoking except outside - NO BUTTS ON THE GROUND PLEASE!

Pool (located next to the City Park on Jolly Roger Rd/Bob Smith Rd) is open daily (except Tuesday's) from 10:00AM to 8:00 PM between mid-May thru mid-September (weather permitting).

A few short minutes to: THE BEACH! 2 restaurants (plus Subway), grocery store, liquor store, golf cart/water sports rental, home furnishings/gift/boutique shop, and...Buck's West Bar

You can usually check-in earlier than 4. Even if another guest is checking out the day of your arrival, the house is typically cleaned and ready by 2:30 (or earlier) after which you are welcome to check-in. Late check-out can be accommodated upon request if no guests are booked to check-in that day.

Check in was easy. Very clean. Over priced for 2 bed 1 bath. Most concerning that earned the 1 star is the number of video and audio cameras monitoring. I’m a Security Director so I found extremely odd my son and I discussing the kayaks before bed and at 10:00 pm the owner text me to tell me one kayak had a large hole in it and the 2nd kayak is ok to use, but carry it to the canal. It is beyond creepy and I won’t stay here again.

House on the canal.

Cute home for a small family. Property has a canal in the backyard which was great for fishing and some crabbing. Drive on beach was very close and not as crowded as the main beach area in Galveston. Host was very attentive no complaints.

Cute, quiet, and perfect location

We had a fantastic stay at this home! The location was perfect — great for the kids to fish right outside, and just a short drive to the beach. With some helpful tips from the friendly neighbor, we caught several different kinds of fish, making the experience even more memorable. The house had everything we needed and was an great fit for our family of four. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Very cute, well stocked, and great view of the canals with the wall to wall windows in the living room. Grandkids got to kayak for the first time in the kayaks provided. Also, caught lots of fish on the canal! It was perfect for our family of four. We'd definitely stay there again! Matt was extremely helpful!!

I bought this property originally as a vacation home. The big water view at the T intersection of two of the larger canals was a big draw. I love the way my mood changes as soon I crest the causeway and descend to the island.
