Beautiful cottage & location

Location, well equipped, fantastic sized rooms, plenty of towel’s, beautiful fire place with all you need to use it and extras if needed, lovely welcome pack and local pub was fantastic too, best cottage we have stayed in in 25 years , will definitely use again

Situated within a hamlet, perfect for a stay whether the cottage is your base to explore from, or a bolt-hole to retreat from whatever you’re retreating from! Well equipped, cosy and warm, ‘quaint’ building with a lot history. We received a courtesy call advising the cottage was available to access an hour ahead of the agreed arrival time, this was appreciated. Also appreciated was the generous and practical welcome pack, which provided some basics for a sarnie and hot drink on arrival, to some ‘luxury’ treats. All to be enjoyed within a potential home-from-home, which was very clean, well house-kept and comfortable for my stay. A holiday-home owner who was easily contacted and works hard to offer a pleasing stay. Happy to leave this review. Thank you.

Fantastic cottage set in a rural location just a short drive away from Sheringham. The property was very comfortable, homely, well maintained and extremely clean. Plus the addition of Christmas decorations. The property had all the features you need for any length of stay and perfect for any group. South View Cottage is wonderful! Fully equipped with everything you need for a warm, cosy and comfortable stay. The welcome pack is amazing and really helped us and the three small children (under 10) settle in immediately. We loved the log burner, toasty central heating, comfy beds and couch, and full mod cons. The location is lovely. It is a five minute drive to local supermarkets but this wasn't an issue for us in the slightest. There is so much to do in the area all within half an hour from the cottage. South View cottage, is in an excellent location to access many picturesque areas of Norfolk. The cottage is very well equipped, with everything you need for your holiday. We have stayed in many self catering premises over the years, but South View was immaculately clean, and a credit to Heather, the owner. Comfortable beds, tv, it really is a home from home, and the most generous welcome pack we have ever received. This is certainly one that we would highly recommend 5 stars. Fantastic place, heather the owner had great communication beforehand and even text me 4 hours before we were able to check in to say the cottage was ready. Immaculately presented and fabulous welcome pack including wine, beer, oj, scones, eggs, bread, cheese, butter and much much more. Very quiet area and only 3 miles to sheringham and 5 to Cromer. We traveled a long way to this cottage (we live in Scandinavia) and was relived to find it was totally worth the trip. The cottage was fairly priced, cosy and The owner had put such effort into the attention to detail with everything, it really could not be faulted. Spotlessly clean, good quality furnishings, a thoughtful welcome pack and accommodating approach. Plus Lovely wood burner for the evenings was The cherry on the cake. Hassle-free .The standard here is something I Would love to come back to.
