A beautifully converted old chapel in the delightful village of Sharrington. Stay here to enjoy the quiet of the Norfolk countryside. Close access to Holt and north Norfolk wonderful beaches.
The two bedroom cottage has a double and a twin bedroom, large living area, well equiped kitchen and spacious shower room. Please note the shower room is downstairs and not on the same level as bedrooms. Facilities include Smart tv and broadband, washing machine, dishwasher.

Very clean and cozy. The place is set well away from the main roads so it's very very quiet.It was a good base to explore locally. The sitting room was compact but very homely and inviting. We spent lots of time in there.

Bedrooms were lovely and clean, and welcoming with fresh towels and bedlinen. The kitchen had everything you could have needed while away. Parking was on street opposite the Chapel, ok for my mini and the road was quiet. The host was more than helpful, especially after we got home as we had left something behind. We were fortunate enough to see 2 Muntjac deer on the first morning in the back garden which was an added bonus!

Peaceful location. Easy access to north Norfolk. Several good pubs and restaurants within 10 minute drive. Property was clean, very comfortable, very well equipped. Large spacious bathroom and shower. Comfortable beds. Plenty of storage space. Parking on verge was ok but a large vehicle might partially block the road. Recommend for couples and families with primary age children.

A Wonderful Stay in the Old Chapel

The Old Chapel is cosy and comfortable with a modern bathroom and kitchen. The location is perfect if you want to escape from it all and enjoy the sounds of nature. We had a truly fantastic stay.

Comfortable and peaceful

The chapel was really comfortable for us. We enjoyed its quiet location-hardly any cars passed by! Plenty to see within a short drive and delicious places to eat. Very relaxing stay.

Small, but comfortable, still had th feeling thst it had been a former chapel. Still had that church aroma about it but not unpleasant. The only issus we encountered were running out of hot water for showers on day 2 as we missed thr fact the immersion heater needed turning on manually and the outside garden furniture could do with protection from bird droppings if you want to use it that is.

A lovely converted chapel in a beautiful corner of England.

We enjoyed a very pleasant three-night stay at the property. The place was well catered for and only a short drive from the likes of Cromer and Sheringham. Left feeling relaxed and happy.

Lovely, quiet, historic but modern accommodation

We had a lovely time staying in this picturesque converted chapel. The kids had a great time enjoying the fabulous weather in the garden. Inside the house had everything that we needed and was beautifully presented.

A wonderful bolt hole for a family stay

We stayed here for our family holiday to Norfolk - the photos on Vrbo don't do this place justice! My girls loved the little teddies, games and children's books left at the property and myself and my partner enjoyed a peaceful, characterful stay in a beautiful part of the county. It was a perfect location for beautiful beaches and days out - house was well stocked and we all had a wonderful time!

A great hideaway in the English countryside

If you are looking for a highly relaxing quiet place far away from any urban hustle, this might be your place to be! Special architecture and atmosphere in a former Methodist chapel. Great beaches and charming villages not far away. Easy communication with the owner from remote. Highly recommended!

It was a beautiful home exactly the style we wanted..Loved the warmth of it all , the heaters in the lounge worked well and there was plenty of room for us to relax.The kitch was all we needed , we could have done with a few containers to store food in .And we there wasnt enough toil paper for the week but other than that we loved our week.

Short stay in Norfolk

Very impressed with the property overall although both bedrooms suffered from a large number of dead flies on our arrival . We also struggled to get the heating going and would have appreciated the heating being turned on before our arrival as it was quite cold in the building. Beds were very comfortable and property is spacious and well equipped and lots to do in the local area.

Peaceful getaway

Old Methodist chapel in a very quiet village. Main A road close by making trips out very easy. Building well converted with everything you need. Broadband gave us no problems. Very secluded, peaceful garden, ideal when the sun is out. Varied selection of places to eat within 20 to 30 minutes drive. Depending upon your age and mobility, I'm 76 with arthritic knees, the ground floor shower room/toilet might be inconvenient at night.

Great property and location

Loved the property and the living area and kitchen are bigger than they look in the photos, especially the living area. The location is close to a lot of lovely places to visit. The only issue I could see is the parking and I think this should be mentioned in the listing. We have a Qashqai and struggled to get the car far enough off the road to be safe without going into the ditch although it was very wet weather and the verge was very muddy. Also you wouldn't be able to have more than one car parked opposite the property without impacting other people's drives. However we would still definitely consider returning to use as a nice base for exploring more of Norfolk.

Quiet week in beautiful North Nofolk

We had a lovely time - great weather the beginning of the week meant we could visit or favourite, Holkham Beach. Loved The Parlour for food nearby in Binham. The chapel was just the right size for the three of us or a family of 4. Comfy sofa! The only thing I missed was a plunge cafetière!
