Beautiful grounds, peaceful & relaxing.

Beautiful grounds, peaceful & relaxing. Very dog friendly which is a big plus for us, with a lovely little wood adjoining the grounds for early morning walks. A simple no fuss self check in and out, so no waiting. It made a good base as it is central to the places we wanted to visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We spent a week in the cottage, had a lovely holiday. There is an additional charge for electricity which seems a bit strange. Cottage is rather cold as it doesn’t get much sunshine. Enjoyed the fishing in the lake, but lilies need removing . The grounds are kept really well. All in all a good holiday

the holiday and the accomadation was lovely the grounds were beautifully kept and lovely walks around the grounds there was only one issue we had and that my husband had gone there to do a bit of fishing as wahat they described as a good fishing lake we where very dissapointed as it was really unfishable due to over grown weeds as in lilly pads it was more or less full of this so if you caught a fish it would just go into the weeds and snap your line i think it needs to be cleaned out or not advertise as fishing . on the whole apart from that we had a lovely holiday

Beautiful location but......

Sorry it may of been a different story to tell if we was staying in another of the cottages, so this only applies for carpenters cottage. The managers friendly the chap very good but issues discovered day 1 were helped with but made to feel we was asking too much by his wife...the issues being; turned on the shower and it tripped a fused, as it’s got shown how to sort that 🤔 it appears to be a known fault (really not comfortable messing with a circuit board) when it did work it was either scorching hot or freezing cold not able to stand under it so ficking water over your body and hair washing had to be done in cold water, I asked for towels the chap happy to help ...the wife brought them and that’s when I got my telling off, asked not to go walking about to try and find them or go to the cottage where they lived (I didn’t FYI) but was warned nonetheless...she seemed stressed said she was ‘definitely have a drink tonight’ and to text or call in future but hopefully nothing else would be wrong....the toilet saniflow system...became unusable often taking 10 plus flushes, very run down & damp ...but we put on our it’s all in the experience faces, but we left by Wednesday. The grounds are lovely but that cottage ruined our vacation and didn’t feel we could say anything else for fear of getting another telling off.

If you love the therapy of a lake with well maintained surrounding gardens, a friendly welcome from the managers Steve and Julie and a comfortable place to stay, this will be for you. We loved our short break at the beginning of July which was a peaceful, relaxing time.

Lovely cottage in beautiful grounds. Managers and staff helpful and friendly. Ideal location to use as a base to visit other parts of cornwall or simply relax by the lake. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay

We were upgraded from Carpenters to the Stable, which was great. The grounds are lovely, and good location to visit places. Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to Rosecraddoc should we holiday to Cornwall again (which I’m sure we will!)

I travelled to Cornwall on the busiest weekend of the year however once I made it to Rosecraddoc Manor I found that I had been upgraded from one-bedroomed Carpenters to two-bedroomed Stable in the same complex due to water problems. As usual I travelled a path less trodden round Cornwall avoiding the honeypots. My week was relaxing as usual due to Cornwall's charms and Rosecraddoc's comforts. I will return to Rosecraddoc Manor next year, albeit in the Spring, to continue my Cornish ramblings.
