The utility room is conveniently located on the lower ground floor which is accessed via an oak staircase. It is located in the heart of the Peak District National Park, in the peaceful village of Curbar. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy fine walking along the top of Curbar Edge, Froggatt Edge and Baslow Edge, from which fabulous far reaching views are the reward. Just 2 minutes’ walk from the property is the convenience of a fine local pub serving food, with Eyam and the slightly larger village of Baslow, which is home to a good selection of local amenities, both just 5 minutes by car. The hugely popular market town of Bakewell is around a 15-minute drive, as is the magnificent Chatsworth House, which the energetic can also access by foot from Baslow. The wonderful gothic Haddon Hall can be reached in around a 20-minute drive, and a whole host of other Peak District towns and villages including Buxton, Castleton, Hathersage and Matlock are available within half an hour. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

For guests wanting to use the EV charging service, a £75 deposit/week will be taken by BACS 2 weeks prior to your stay, directly with the owner. The electric usage to the standard 3-pin (13A/3kW max) socket is metered; an appropriate cable is required; the meter will be read at the end of your stay and you will be refunded the difference between the deposit and the actual reading, by BACS.Electricity for this car charging only (electricity internal to the property is included in the cost of the stay) will be charged at 10p/kWh over the rate the owner pays to cover installation and maintenance and you will be informed of the current rate prior to paying the deposit. It is not permitted to charge a vehicle using a cable to an internal socket at the property.
