Day or night the view is amazing. Villa has plenty of vantage points where one can sit and stare. Constant sound of the waves on the beach below adds to it. Nicely landscaped grounds. Be sure to rent an AWD vehicle, the road up the hill to the villa is an experience in itself, but worth it.

Great Stay!

We had such a great experience. The house is so well equipped. We did a lot of cooking and we couldn’t think of a thing they didn’t have in the kitchen. Also ample beach/pool towels. The beds were all comfortable and each room has a fabulous view. We enjoyed all of the outdoor seating and lounging areas and we were able to watch all of our football games by streaming from a phone. Jude was super responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

What a view Longview Villa has!

This is our second time staying here and we never go back to the same place twice! The thing we love about the house is all the different outdoor seating options you have, all with fantastic views! House has everything you need and the pool is wonderful! Makes it hard to leave and venture out. We had 3 days of rain and had plenty to do at the house. Jude makes check in and out very easy, or if any issues pop up! We’ll definitely be back!!

Everything about this beautiful Villa made our stay a wonderful experience. Our Empty Nesters group of four couples travel often together and the Villa was perfect for our stay. There are four separate en suite sleeping areas with ample areas to gather and find private space when needed. The views are absolutely gorgeous and the pool is nice and refreshing at the end of the day on the hot beach. You do need a newer model 4 wheel drive vehicle to make the windy trek to and from the villa but you get used to the drive in time. An additional and unexpected plus was that Jon had a nice meal ready for us upon our arrival. Jon greeted us at a local convenience store and showed us the way to the property. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable as we settled in.

Spectacular views and sleek architecture

The property sits on a hill overlooking Long Bay. You can lounge next to the pool and have an unobstructed view out over the water. The compound is made up of 3 buildings. A main one with a great room and kitchen, then two buildings each with a bedroom on the first floor and one above. It is very "outdoor living" as all rooms exit directly outside and connect via various stairs and walks either down to the pool & house level, or over the main house to another level of terrace. That works well for most families or groups of friends, but is not great if you want a child's bedroom next to their parents. Four couples would have maximum privacy. The beds were large and hit a sweet spot of soft vs. firm. Three rooms had clear views of the bay. One exited out into a little terrace above the pool - and then looked over the bay. If you don't draw the blinds, you wake up in the morning with a view that makes you think you own the world. Each room had a large bathroom with relativiely up-to-date fixtures. The pool was surprisingly deep after a short 2 foot section. Like the rooms, this was fine for adults but could be a problem for children. In early February the house shades the pool during most of the day, but is full on the lounge chairs. You'll either hate that or love it because you won't accidentally sunburn in the pool. You don't even have to have guilt about running the heater, because the house is extensively solar powered. Getting there was a breeze (after the property manager guided us up the first time). The entire road up was paved, with switchbacks wide enough for a Suzuki Gran Vitara to turn through. The driveway is steep (about 20 degree incline) but also paved. You absolutely do need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The kitchen was fully equiped if you wanted to cook at home. Nice gas grill too. We got lazy and had all our dinners out. It is only about a 15 minute drive to Soper's Hole (for Omar's) or Great Carrot Bay (for D' Coal Pot) Overall this was excellent. The only problem was a clogged shower drain, but that was fixed quickly after a call to the property manager.

Paradise !

Wow I can’t say enough about the views from this house! We had a wonderful week at Longview Villa. The house is spacious with everything you could ever want. The favorite part of our trip was choosing where to sit outside and enjoy coffee or evening cocktails. This area of the island is so peaceful with many great restaurants. Jon was fantastic to work with and even left us a wonderful dinner on our first night. We will be returning soon! Thank you for your hospitality.

A paradise in all respects

Everything was perfect for our four week stay. The Villa itself is very luxurious. Each of the four bedrooms has an amazing view of the beach and ocean, along with the wonderful sounds of the ocean to fall asleep by. The kitchen has been recently renovated, and is both spacious and fully equipped. The layout of the Villa is conducive to having many private areas for relaxing, all with an ocean view. The property manager, Jon, was very responsive to all of our questions. I had accidentally walked into a screen door, resulting in the screen ripping. I informed John that same day, and it was immediately fixed. Rosalin, our housekeeper, also made sure that we were well looked after throughout our visit. I can’t recommend this place enough. We intend to return.

Really great house and location!

Book this house now! It is perfect for a group. There were three couples in our group and each had their own room with spacious bathroom. The view is breathtaking, pool is delightful and the location is close to so many things. The caretaker was very helpful with local knowledge and responded quickly when we had a small issue with the house generator. I can't think of a single thing that would keep me from booking this house again and again!

It has been our dream to own and live in the BVI for many years but finding the right property with the perfect view has taken time. We love the bright colors and all the flowering plants that have been planted. The photo of our family is taken at Pussers in Sopers hole our favorite luncheon spot.

Why they chose this property

The View, the Pool, the breeze and one of only a few homes that is fully air conditioned in all rooms. I hear people visiting the island talking to their children that they have traveled the world, as we have, and that the views and the beaches in the BVI are the best in the world. They are unspoiled and many beaches are empty, just the golden sand. Two of the best beaches are a short walk or drive away. This house on a made up road half way up the hill from Long Bay Hotel benefits from the cool breezes that are a constant feature and a sunny location. The Atlantic waves can be heard breaking on the beach below giving a most tranquil sound. We rented the property several times before finally buying the property .

Mosquitoes are generally not a problem in the BVI. At Longview Villa 300ft above sea level with a good constant breeze thanks to the constant North easterly Trade winds of 10 – 20 mph that come from the Southerly side of the island through the dip in the hill of the island and across the house which is situated on a knoll. Bugs do not like this.
We installed out side and inside Dynatraps which attract and kill mosquitoes and other small biting insects. All rooms have mesh to minimize bugs entering the rooms.
We would advise generous use of a good Mosquito replant liberally applied especially around the ankles. Also generous use of Mosquito/fly/bug spray in areas you are sitting helps as well. We ourselves have been coming to the islands for 8 years and generally do not have an issue with mosquitoes and our house seems not to be a real problem we are pleased to say.


Other wild life though on BVI is prolific being a tropical island and to be enjoyed

What makes this property unique

The view - Totally private (you are not overlooked from any angle) with a lovely 40 foot long heated pool and stunning sun deck. Some guests just do not want to leave. We ourselves come and stay from London 4 times a year which gives us the opportunity to ensure the property is in tip top condition for you. Jon and Katy are renowned for looking after guests in their own and also our property and they will ensure you are well looked after.
