What a lovely house, fabulous views right on the seafront of Porto Venere. A short walk to the beautiful town and also to a free beach, the beach directly in front is paid but head left out of the door and a few 100m away is a free one. Close to supermarket, no heed for a car, the ferry and bus stop is very close. There is a garage butbthe ceiling is low , probably about 190cm so you need a small car, access is quite tight. Lots of helpful things in the house, dishwasher tablets, oil akl you need for a few days. We stayed a week with no car and visited cinque terre and it was a lovely stay. There is only air con in the master bedroom so can get a little warm in the other room upstairs in the summer.

Exceptional all around....

Cannot beat the view or location...walk everywhere you want from supermercato to restaurants and the ferry. Host was extremely accomodating with early checkin and checkout. It is right on the road so it can get loud at night...stairs to upstairs are spiral and steep so a little tough to get luggage up. Kitchen i stocked with everything...bed so comfy!

Spectacular views

This was a charming, quirky house where we quickly felt at home. We loved swimming four times a day and never tired of the amazing views. Portovenere is a charming, busy seaside town - no need to venture into the heaving CinqTerre: everything's right there. The road between the house and the beach gets busy and the beach right across from the house is private, expensive and booked up in advance. No need to pay as there are good options nearby, including a place to swim just next to the private area right across the street. We liked swimming by the rocks on the other side of the harbour. A really beautiful place.

Cozy waterfront little villa

Amazing stay. The villa was just perfect for our family of 4. If we had any problems the owner was immediately contactable and made things perfect. The house was clean and had everything we could think of provided. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, within easy reach by car of Portofino, Pisa, Florence, Verona or Lake Garda for day trips.

Lovely and over expectations

I stayed one week in Portovenere and everything was over expectations. The cleanliness of the rooms, the furniture, the kindness of people, the location, in fact on the street, the sea view ... everything makes Stella di Mare a splendid residence. Finally, the owners are kind and friendly. To be back and in a hurry!

The structure is beautiful. Modern is suitable for any kind of need. The staff is really great: friendly, friendly and helpful. Ready at all times to answer any requests and give us useful tips on how to move and where to eat. Positive experience. Tactical location close to both the beaches and the center. The structure also offers bicycles which are the ideal means to move around. We will definitely be back. Pat
