Fantastic sea view

Massimo was the perfect host welcoming and generous with information on the region. He really made us feel at home. The house is simply gorgeous and was perfect for our group : six adults and two teens . We enjoyed having our breakfast on the terrace that offers stunning views of Palmaria island. We will definitely be back again.

Property is very functional and usable for our group of 9 friends. Views were stunning and serene

Roberta was a wonderful host welcoming and helpful. The property is well outfitted and was easy to prepare meals and host our large group. We would highly recommend the property to others however making it clear there are a lot of steps and our entire group are young fit seniors however not suitable for some of our friends.

Excellent vacation !

Villa particularly suitable for a family with children. Beautiful terrace with sea view, garden completely fenced and secure. No problem to let your children playng around while you prepare a BBQ in the shade of the trees. Very nice accommodation to comfortably accommodate 2 families. Located few mins walk from the sea and ferry boats to Cinque Terre and Portofino this Villa is the ideal location for a vacation by the sea. We are pleased to recommend it to everybody. Lovely villa with fantastiv views in a great location!

Porte Venere was a lovely town with ferries to the Cinque Terra very pretty area. Roberta could not have been more helpful she was just lovely. The home had a lovely terrace with a great view and everything our family needed for a fantastic stay. The only issue we had was a really noisy dog who continually barked next door. Overall a great villa in a lovely spot thank you!

Amazing sea view

it was exactly what we hoped for and more! That's saying something with a teenage/twenty something family to consider. We found the property as a whole was beautifully kept and Roberta paid so much attention to the detail from cold beers, prosecco, milk, bread etc in the fridge on arrival. Great location for exploring the region, and there's plenty to do and see both on land and by sea, although we really enjoyed just being in the locality of Porto Venere relaxing and admiring the view by the terrace and garden, both by day and night, which really is very special. Thank you for a memorable family holiday, and I can't wait to go back.

Perfect stay !

What a find for our first time in Italy. The accommodation is perfect both inside and out and the views at anytime time of the day from the terrace are spectacular. There is plenty to do in the region such as lovely walk along to Lerici where you can take a boat trip to the Cinque Terre or Portofino. We would like to come back and do some walking. There is no need to have a car everything is very accessible by foot and public transport. If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet place to stay with access to local bars and restaurants just go ahead and book it :)

Fantastic location

Having spent two holidays in succession at glorious Villa Smeralda with a party of six adults and two young children, we cannot recommend it highly enough. The house is extremely comfortable and provides everything you need. Beaches are only 200 mt far from te house as well as ferry boats for Cinque Terre. Fantastic location for those who love Italy and Mediterranean villages by the sea.

SUPER

Our time at villa Smeralda could not have been more perfect. Very relaxing, beautiful scenery and wonderful hosts. The property is just a few steps from the sea and close to restaurants and bars. The house itself is very nice. We did not have a car but didn't really mind. "Sea and Country Villas" arranged everything ! Transfers, Wine tour including a great Yacht cruise around Cinque Terre. We are so in love with this place that we are planning to come back soon. Thank you very much!

10 days at Villa near the sea

The house was great it has a fabulous veranda over looking the sea. With a perfect position very close to the sea and bars, suitable for a relaxing holiday. Massimo was very amenable and helpful. He responded to emails very quickly. We had a fabulous 10 days, thanks Massimo.

Wonderful

The magic of this villa isjust being in the village, a stone's throw from restaurants, shops and the marina, but enclosed in a private oasis. Amazing view, just Incredible !!! You can not imagine if you do not see !!!! So green, lots of pergolas, lots of narrow streets, cleared water. All Fantastic!

We stayed in Villa Smeralds with 2 family's and kids and we had a terrific time. We were lucky to have wonderful weather and even lunched in the sun on the terrace! Portovenere is absolutely lovely, a true paradise ! Agathe

Excellent !

The Villa is absolutely beautiful with stunning views in every direction. It is the perfect location for visiting the Cinque Terre National Park and it's only 1 and half drive from Florence and other beautiful towns of Tuscany Roberta was a wonderful host with helpful advice of restaurants and sights. Wonderful Villa with amazing view

This villa was great! Very quiet and private. Clean, beautiful and comfortable. The owner, Roberta was gracious and welcoming. just 5 mins walk from the beach. The large terrace and the window of the master bedroom offer an amazing views on the sea. Simply wonderful !
