It was just as advertised
Easy to find even as remote as it was
Nice that linens were provided
A very nice place to get away and unwind
On the rainy nights we enjoyed dominoes at the table and on the clear nights a fire in the pit outside
Hubs & I had a wonderful weekend getaway from the rat race. Beautiful setting, cabin stocked with everything you need, very communicative host. Wonderful!
If you want peace and quiet in a country setting, this is your place. Enjoyed our stay, and looking forward to booking again. Lots of wildlife to enjoy, and Stuart is a pleasant little town. Cottage was very clean and well kept.
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin -- comfortable and well-stocked. We would like to return when the weather is a little better and more conducive sitting outdoors beside the stream that runs through the property.
Great stay again this year!! Peace & Quiet with no neighbor noise at all!! Really no close neighbors around! If u want a quiet place that has everything you need , this is the place! Will go back next year or maybe again this year if possible!
The cottage and property were amazing. A refuge away from the world providing peace and tranquility. Lots of wildlife and no people!! We will be back!

Lilly Cove Stay
Great time at the Cottage. We enjoyed the view in the morning from the back porch having coffee and listening to birds, turkeys and few cows. The branch running in the back ground is very peaceful.
Definitely will stay many more times.

Loved it!!
We absolutely loved this place! It was very nicely decorated and immaculate! Very peaceful. Nice touches including the DVDs and speaker on the front porch! Enjoyed playing horseshoes and kids enjoyed all the acreage! Very comfortable and relaxing stay!
This property was as peaceful as it was full of nature. All we heard was the sound of a babbling creek, birds, and the wind in the trees; exactly what we hoped for! The cabin was sweet, well maintained, with everything we could desire for a cottage retreat.
We truly enjoyed our three-day getaway from the hustle of the big city. The cabin is cozy, clean, but not too small. We came for the wildlife and nature and we were not at the least bit disappointed. Even when we got a rainy day, we experienced no boredom as the hummingbirds kept us entertained. We will certainly be back soon!

The cabin was just as stated.
My huband and I very much enjoyed our weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and very nicely decorated, with a very rustic feel, but still enough of the modern touches.
The property is very secluded but only a few minutes to Stuart, Virginia, which has a grocery store and two coffee shops. Minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and all that beauty. We will definitely return.
The cabin is cozy and comfortable, well supplied. The difficulty was the internet service. It made it hard being in the cabin all day because of the bad cold weather. The TV and Internet service for our phones was basically non-existent. Text message was the best way we could communicate. Calls ee received kept breaking up. We are thinking of returning either in spring or fall when we could enjoy the outdoors more.
My wife and I got the chance to have an unexpected weekend away since the beginning of this year. We found Lily Cove Cottage online and decided to spend the weekend there.
Everything is just as it is described and pictured in the listing. Additionally, Donald answered our questions promptly and even contacted us after we arrived to make sure everything was fine.
The cabin was the perfect place to spend our weekend.

Heaven on Earth
This is the most peaceful and relaxing place we have ever been. The cottage is adorable, secluded, romantic and well equipped. However, it doesn’t compare to the natural beauty of its amazing surroundings. The creek, hiking trails and wildlife are so enjoyable. We never even sat down in the den or watched TV . We only wanted to sit on the porches and enjoy the peacefulness. It is definitely a place to disconnect and reconnect. We can’t wait for our next visit!!!
With only a few minor upgrades this place would be 5 star. Making the beds, fixing the shower, having a more useable stove/oven, etc. We really enjoyed our stay though. The cabin has a definite charm. The property was as described and the host was super to work with. Check in and out was a breeze. Be aware, this IS nature. We saw bears daily, and a snake, as well as your regular insects and small animals. The butterflies were really nice to see. It was very quiet at night and guests enjoy complete privacy.
