A unique and unusual place in Brussels. Up to 6 people. With garden and private and secure parking (optional). Stay at the Micro frite museum! A Belgian-Belgian immersion of which you will keep, as well as your friends and family, a memory that we hope will be unforgettable.
A large unique space, 'belgo-exotic' and amazing, of 120 square meters, with a courtyard and a garden on almost 100 square meters. A boon in Brussels!
Close to the Gare du Midi, Home Frit 'Home invites you to discover Brussels and Belgium in exceptional accommodation conditions.
You will be welcomed by Hugues Henry, journalist and specialist in 'Belgitude' and French fries. He is the author of the book 'Carrément frites' (Renaissance book editions, March 2012).
At Home Frit 'Home, you will be hosted at the heart:
- the Micro Museum of French Fries, which will be commented on
- an art gallery revealing works by Belgian artists inspired by quirky, surrealist Belgium ...
Each quarter, Home Frit 'Home hosts a new exhibition.
Flat screen TVs connected to the cable in the rooms, equipped kitchen, dishwasher, wifi internet ... The accommodation, comfortable and very well equipped, is spread over 2 levels on a pleasant and bright surface of 120 square meters.
You will also enjoy, just for you, a courtyard and a garden with a surface of 100 square meters!
Sheets, towels, linens, garden furniture, BBQ ... included.
Folding cot for baby (120 x 60 cm) available, with mattress (sleeping bag not provided).
A private and secure garage is available on request for a small supplement.
Home Frit 'Home is both an exhibition space and not suitable for young children.

Upon arrival, a rental contract is submitted to you. We ask for a deposit of 300 euros (check or cash) which is returned to you on your exit after inventory and inventory of fixtures.
Possibility to rent bikes to reach the center of Brussels thanks to our proximity to a Villo station.

Beautiful location and very helpful host

Close to transit and nearby amenities. The host took the time to sit down with us to outline local transit and had a booklet of nearby recommendations.

Eine originelle und großzügige Unterkunft

Wir haben uns vom Vermieter sehr willkommen geheißen. Da die Wohnung gleichzeitig ein Museum ist war sie originell eingerichtet und auch ziemlich groß. Es gab alles was den Aufenthalt angenehm macht.

Interessante Ferienwohnung in guter Lage

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Unterkunft war sehr interessant, denn sie ist auch zugleich ein kleines Museum, dass sich mit der Geschichte belgischer Pommes Fries auseinandersetzt. Die Lage ist relativ zentral und dennoch ruhig. Wir wurden vom Inhaber Herrn Hugues Henry sehr nett begrüßt. Er erklärte uns auch, wie wir in Brüssel gut mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr unterwegs sein können. Unser Auto konnten wir sehr gut und sicher in der nahen Tiefgarage und dort noch in einer abschließbaren Garage abstellen. Sollten wir nochmal nach Brüssel kommen, so würden wir hier sehr gerne wieder einchecken!

Just about perfect

Everything as described (no overstated or false marketing promises). Spacious living room. Fully equipped kitchen (even including a dishwasher). Nice eating space in front of a balcony towards the garden. Two nice bedrooms. King-size bathroom with toilet, and a separate toilet. Very nice property manager, who lives in the same house. Because there was no immediately ensuing booking, he offered to postpone the checkout time until mid-afternoon without hassle. Honestly, nothing to comlain about. Definitively highly recommendable!

De combinatie met het frietmuseum maakt de accomodatie uniek (het museums natuurlijk niet geopend als jij er verblijft). De inrichting in het woongedeelte is wel overdadig, mensen die snel overprikkeld zijn moeten hier rekening mee houden. Is zeer volledig ingericht. Goede bedden en een mooie badkamer. Locatie nabij OV. Wat ons betreft een aanrader.

Logement conforme à la description (bien équipé, confortable, propre). Les photos sont bien représentatives de l'esprit du gîte. Nous sommes plongés dans l'univers de la Frite que nous raconte avec passion son propriétaire. Le quartier est très calme. Les accès au centre ville très faciles. Nous y avons apprécié notre séjour. Idéal aussi bien pour famille qu'entre amis.

Bom, porém...

Muito confortável para 5 pessoas. Uma 6a pessoa não ficará confortável em um dos sofás-cama (existem 2camas de casal e 2 sofás camas um deles é confortável o outro não, o proprietário sempre disponível e simpático nos disse que para outras estadias estaria providenciando outra cama para uma 6a pessoa). Cuidado se você tiver crianças pois como se trata de um museu pode haver acidentes pois tem vários objetos e quadros em exposição na sala de estar. Quanto à garagem, é bastante segura, porém, comporta um carro pequeno a médio. O sinal do wifi era extremamente fraco e o proprietário também está providenciando melhorias. No demais, você contará com uma recepção muito calorosa em Bruxelas e até com um "welcoming drink", no nosso caso uma cerveja, por sinal muito boa.

Merci de votre commentaire. Vous étiez des locataires très sympathiques et exigeants à la fois, ce qui est également important pour améliorer notre accueil. En plus d'avoir ajouté 2 fauteuils de salon aujourd'hui même, comme je vous l'ai dit, nous avons changé le 6e lit "en renfort" et renforcé (extension) le signal wifi. Nous serons heureux que vous puissiez en profiter lors d'un futur séjour, puisque vous nous avez confié vouloir revenir l'an prochain à la même époque. Nous nous en réjouissons. Quant au garage privé et sécurisé, nous ne pouvons hélas pas l'élargir ;-) Mais nous n'avons fort heureusement jamais eu de locataire qui n'arrivait pas à rentrer son véhicule dedans. Au plaisir.
