Amazing location in town: fantastic views to wake up to, or relax with a sundown drink. We walked to dancing ledge in 1h20 along costal path. Really fantastic place.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us Anna. We look forward to your return in the future.
Lovely accommodation in a great location close to town, yet away from any noise, except the seagulls! The property was very well equipped & very comfortable to stay in. We really enjoyed our stay. The host was communicative & flexible during booking. The only small downside to the location is the steep hill, which is only to be expected in Swanage.
The property is in a good location for visiting the beach or the central village. It is a short walk to town for all the shops and restaurants. The view from the property is lovely and overall the property is in a very quiet and peaceful location. The park across the road is great for kids, walks and picnics, the view from the top of the hill is spectacular. The property is situated on the top of a hill so the walk is steep but there are lots of benches on the way to stop and take in the view. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this property.
Another good week in Swanage coinciding with the Carnival
The property is conveniently situated 5 mins from the pier and town centre
Looking forward to next years holiday already
Lovely, well-maintained and well-equipped property. Great location really convenient for the town and the beach (albeit via a steep hill but this is Swanage!). 2 parking spaces. Especially loved the water pressure in the shower. The kitchen only has a small undercounter fridge/freezer, but not a big issue if you know about it in advance.Overall, a lovely holiday, good comms and I'd recommend the property.
We love Swanage and have stayed at an adjacent property many times. Just one thing about the listing. You list two parking spaces but the owner says there is only one available. Fortunately we were allowed to use both otherwise it would have been awkward

Great loacation, fabulous views!
A really comfortable house with great views from the lounge and master bedroom. It is a very short walk from the pier, the beach, shops, amusements, restaurants etc and has parking for 2 cars outside. The house was very well equipped with all you could need (except for a clothes airer!). There was plenty of space for 4 people and the bedroom downstairs would easily be able to accommodate the pull out bed for a fifth person.
Our only criticism was with the television, which was faulty prior to our stay and had not been fixed. Despite requests, this was not sorted out during our stay.

Thankyou for your comments about your stay with us at The Downs,
We are glad you enjoyed It.We would like to confirm that
a new TV is on site although we would like to point out the TV was fault was a picture quality problem and was still watchable. A TV Engineer call-out was requested but unfortunately due to a busy schedule they were unable to attend within a 24hr period.
Very nice and cosy cottage. Nicely furnished, everything you need is there. My only tiny concern was about the kitchen appliances. The pots, pans and the kettle seemed very old but still ok to be used. The cottage is close to the town centre and the beach, great location!
