We go to northern Cyprus annually and have done for over 20 years and always stay in a villa. This is a one of the best, with a with great garden and pool and plenty of space. Everything was catered for at a very high standard. Big shout out to Mary who ensured our checkin and stay were perfect. We will have no hesitation in going back :)

Absolutely stunning villa with breath taking views.

Villa Vounous has everything that you could wish for, from spacious bedrooms each with their immaculate en-suites to a very well maintained pool and garden. The owner Mitch, and Mandy, the property manager went above and beyond to make sure our family had a fantastic time there. Everything was perfect! We have been visiting kyrenia area for the past 10 years and this has to be the best villa we have stayed in yet, it has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We look forward to visiting your beautiful villa again in the future.

Fabulous

The property is better than described. The photos dont do it justice. It was sparkling clean, the check in process was easy. Mandy the manager was brilliant with communication and advice. The area was remote but this was fully expected.the kitchen had everything we needed including large fridge, air fryer, microwave, toaster. The pool area and outdoor eating area is spectacular. I cannot recommend this property enough Many thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay in their beautiful, well equipped home.

Outstanding.

Pool & Garden - immaculate and total privacy. Aircon - x6 units all working perfectly. (very unusual!) Location - 10min drive from Bellapais Gardens and Nima restaurant, best eateries on the island. Landlord/Manager - invisible but always available on the phone, exactly how we like it. Thank-you. This is the first villa we have ever rebooked.🤗

Marc, thank you for your kind review. I’d like to thank you for taking good care of my villa during your stay. I very much appreciate you rebooking Villa Vounous for next year, please rest assured we will make every effort to make your 2024 stay just as comfortable and enjoyable. We seem to have frequent power cuts so I’ve arranged for the gardner to frequently check fuel level on the generator, we’ve also added new batteries for all torches and restocked candles. I hope none of the above will be needed but in the event of a power cut you won’t be left in the dark. My health issues prevent me from long stays at my villa so I’d like people like you, my son, daughter and grandchildren to enjoy it instead. If I was staying at my villa I’d like everything to be in perfect working order, so my goal is to achieve this for our guests. Once again, thank you for your kind words, I look forward to welcoming you next year. Best wishes, Mitch

Fantastic

Had a great holiday at villa Vounous.. villa large and spacious with amazing views.. Only downside was poor BBQ and no garden furniture.. if we stayed in on an evening we had to sit around the outdoor dining area.. some nice comfy/loungy outside ratan garden furniture would have been perfect... I literally am nit picking.... just minor observations and would not stop me from staying in this amazing villa again

Villa Vousnous

This is an absolutely splendid villa with spectacular views, situated adjacent to a Bronze Age settlement ‘Vousnous’ at the base of the mountains. From the beautiful large swimming pool with frangipani & other fabulous aromas wafting over you from the bushes & flowers in the garden to the spacious living space - it just cannot be faulted. Everything possible is there to cook in or outside on the big bbq. Plenty of cooking utensils & loads of china The bedrooms & bathrooms are spacious & comfortable. There are TVs & radio etc but haven’t felt the need to use them We as a family thoroughly recommend it. The only downside is it’s a good 1/2 hour walk to the shops downhill & maybe an hour back uphill so a car is an absolute must.

Fabulous villa in a fabulous location

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious villa which was extremely well equipped and met all of our needs. The Property Manager, Mandy was extremely helpful with organising transfer and car hire and Mitch the owner responded to me very quickly when I thought I was being scammed for my final payment. Only criticism is we we’re not prepared for how much everything had gone up in price. It wasn’t an issue but prices are much higher than previous years. We were also not aware that the harbour area was being renovated and therefore there were No restaurants open. Again not a problem as we are in most of the time, we couldn’t pull ourselves away from this lovely villa. Thank you Mitch and Mandy .

Hi Tina, Thank you for your wonderful review of Villa Vounous. I am pleased to inform you that Mandy is equally fond of you and your group and hopes to welcome you back soon. I am so sorry you could not enjoy our beautiful Kyrenia Harbour, unfortunately work has dragged on a bit but it was in need of some so we're all keeping our fingers crossed for it to end soon and that the work will be in keeping with it's original features. I never visit Cyprus without having an Efes or 2 in this beautiful place. I hope you will have the pleasure of visiting Kyrenia Harbour on your next visit and enjoy it's glorious ambiance. Take care and please be assured, you are always welcome back at Villa Vounous.

Absolutely wonderful

The villa, pool and gardens were exactly as shown but even better. The views were amazing and the garden and pool terrace very spacious and private. The huge pool was perfect and the whole family enjoyed using it to cool down and play pool games. The check in was easy and the villa manager Mandy extremely helpful when we needed her, otherwise we weren't disturbed or bothered at all. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook at home when we wanted to. Location is perfect with local well stocked supermarkets a short drive away. Air condition was excellent and all were in good working order. We really appreciated the fact that there is a generator at the villa, very useful to have in case of power cuts. The only thing that I think is missing is to have some nice comfortable outside garden furniture/seating to relax and enjoy sitting in the many wonderful areas around the garden and pool when not wishing to sunbathe on the sun beds but wanting to sit comfortably outside. The garden is so pretty that I just wanted to sit and take it all in. I love this villa, in fact, I have already booked for a longer stay next year and can't wait to return. Thank you Mitch for allowing us to stay in your lovely villa.

Perfect villa for a relaxing holiday

When I was choosing the villa for the family holiday in Kyrenia I was a bit confused with the number of positive reviews for Villa Vounous. All of them contain high ratings. And now I add the next superb evaluation of the house and location. Villa Vounous is situated at the end of the calm street, looking at the known archeological spot - Hill Vounous. From three sides of the backyard there are no neighbours and you have a full feeling of large free spot around. The yard is large and very well-organized, garden is well-kept, beautiful and mood-building. Pool has a rare length of 12 meters. The sunset side is opposite the yard and all the evening the yard is golden coloured, you'll not change it for any restautant view. The house is large, we are a family of five and we had plenty of space. Took a breakfast in the inside dining room and had dinner around the big table at the outside sitting area. Everyday we took a walk to the old picteresque village of Bellapais, it is situated 25 minutes walk through the village of beautiful villas. Bellapais has not only the ancient gothic monastery that can be seen from the house but lovely narrow streets between old houses of 19th century. If we decide to come to Kyrenia again we will surely choose the same house. We also thank Mandy for the easy check-in, welcome pack (we arrived late and this was highly appreciated) and all the advice on local attractions and house usage.
