There are also several local golf clubs including the beautiful Val D'or golf, horse riding through the national park, Scuba diving and tennis courts in easy walking distance and the charm of Porto Petro a 7 minute drive away. Cala D'or is 45 minutes from Palma airport.

The modern, light-flooded villa with direct access to the beach of Cala Gran, one of the most beautiful beaches of Cala d Or and its proximity to the town centre makes holiday dreams come true. The beautiful entrance of the house leads first into the tasteful kitchen and then into the open living-dining area, which offers a fantastic view over the lovely terrace and pool over the bay of Cala Gran. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with two single beds which has a magnificent view of the sea and an associated guest bathroom with bathtub.

On the first floor there are three further bedrooms and two bathrooms with private access to the large balcony. The second floor consists of the master bedroom with elegant en suite bathroom and a roof terrace with magnificent views of Cala d Or and the vast sea. All bedrooms have brand new air conditioning units. The large infinity pool can be heated at some times of year at extra cost. The garage of the property has two parking spaces. The villa has High Speed 100MB/s ADSL Internet.

All electricity used at the house is from the solar panels on the roof or 100% renewable sources supplied by Gesternova Energia, Spain.

BABIES AND CHILDREN: Please note that while we do not restrict babies and young children, however there are stone stairs in the house with no baby gates and a deep swimming pool so children will be welcomed under the supervision of their parents. We do not take responsibility for young children unsupervised. High chair and cot or child's bed can be supplied at extra cost.

Family holiday

Fantastic stay at a beautiful central villa in Cala D’Or. Communication with the property owner was excellent and very responsive. We did have a few issues with unexpected double bookings and pool filter issues which were completely out of the owners control, but they dealt with them very quickly. All the family enjoyed their stay and being so central it was perfect for getting around. Would more than happily book again. Thanks for allowing us to stay x

Amazing Property

What a fantastic place to spend a long weekend catching up with lifelong friends. We couldn’t have asked for a more fantastic location, next to the beach, near restaurants and bars and breathtaking views. The house itself was amazing, loads of room, all the facilities we could ever want, super clean. I really can’t think of any more we could have wanted. Dominique was also amazing with her support in booking, arranging taxis and responsiveness to questions. I would recommend this property 100%.

Fantastic Family Holiday

Fantastic holiday. The villa was in a superb location - close to the beach & all amenities. The welcome pack was great thank you and the cleaners were very accommodating/helpful when we arrived early. The Nespresso machine was just like being at home. Great that we had the use of towels and didn't have to bring any with us. The age range of our family was from 14yrs through to 74yrs and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we would definitely stay again. We would highly recommend.

Family holiday

We booked quite late as our plans kept changing but I’m so glad they did because we ended up at this wonderful property. We have young kids (5 and 2) and the grandparents came too. The property and location meant that we could be together or operate independently when required.

Amazing stay!

Cala D’or is a gorgeous resort and this beautiful property couldn’t be situated any closer to the beach and shops/restaurants, which was ideal for my mum who has back issues and unable to walK far. Our host Dominique was so helpful and gave us so many recommendations for lovely restaurants nearby, all of which were spot on! The villa itself is huge, extremely clean and equipped with everything you need and more. The local spa supermarket is quite pricey so definitely recommend going a bit further (12 mins walk) to the Supermercado Suma Cala Dor Fruit, it has everything! We loved our stay so much and will definitely return next year.

Fabulous in every way

This took us 2 years to finally get to Dominique’s villa and it was definitely worth the wait. The communication over everything has been amazing with so much understanding from Dominique with lock down problems. The villa is perfect and very clean and modern a beautiful location and pool, it’s home from home. We are looking forward to going back soon.

Beautiful Villa in a wonderful setting

Just a few steps to the best beach in Cala D’or, with majestic views over the bay with its calm waters and only a minute walk from the nearest of the the many restaurants. The villa itself is well appointed with five big bedrooms all with great views. Every need is catered for and the pictures are not promising anything that the villas doesn’t exceed. My son and I had some of the best snorkelling experiences with the shoals of fish in the bay. The owner was also incredibly helpful and communication outstanding.

I expected so much of this villa and it still exceeded all expectations.

The views are outstanding and the outside sitting and dining area are absolutely fantastic. We all enjoyed the fantastic pool and the both gentleman who cleaned it were ever so polite. The sound of the sea lapping up the shore is the most soothing sound. I have convinced the rest of the family to do this every year. There is no better place then this villa. We have come to the island for over 20 years. We have now experienced the best, there is no going back. Everything is thought of. Washing machine, dryer, towels, tea towels, First Aid kit, great beds and pillows and the list goes on. Just breathtaking views. Close to the Spar and town. I will be back for sure.

Beach front family living, perfect with kids

We visited over Easter and stayed for a week in the warm spring weather. Above the Cala and with access to the beach, the villa was perfect for our extended family to entertain a five year old, and there was room for all of us to relax. All the rooms have terrace access and the master suite has especially spectacular views. We could see ourselves returning with another family as with 4 baths and 5 beds there's plenty of space. Cala Gran is the the largest beach in Cala D'or and although the water was cool, it didn't stop us enjoying the shallow waters and spending days on the beach. The pool was never a worry for us at the house and the villa its set-up for kids with gates on the top terrace and stairs. Highlights for us included dinner at Na Petra in Porto Petro and HPC in Porto Colom. There are also many restaurants in the town. There is a glass bottomed boat that goes from the Cala, our daughter enjoyed a morning finding fish! Unlike the other reviewer we didn't have an issue with the driveway (we had 2 cars) and also used the two car garage.

Perfect family holiday location on Cala Gran in Cala D'or

We spent a sun filled week in this stunning villa perched above Cala Gran. With amazing views of the Cala and easy access to the beach below. There were only 5 of us, but we could have easily have accommodated double that. All the rooms look out to the sea and have lovely terraces off them. The master suite is very large and has a private terrace overlooking the Cala with a perfect morning view! We had a four year old with us and didn't feel worried about the pool and the house is well set-up for kids. We spent many lazy days around the villa and on the beach. You can easily get to the other Calas and our daughter especially loved the solar land train that takes you around the town. The marina is not far and the restaurants of Porto Colom and Porto Petro are a quick car trip. We also checked out Santanyí market on Saturday which was great for gifts, the town also has good boutiques and cafes. We couldn't fault our stay and would highly recommend it for a family holiday.

Beautiful home, pool was fabulous! We grilled and enjoyed the terrace. The little cove is perfect. Fine white sand, clear water and fun rocks to jump off into the perfect water.

Gorgeous Beach House

We loved the location of this house, on the water, steps from the beach. We sat on the back porch as much as possible, listening to the waves. We walked to dinner each night, in the town and on the marina. The house is spacious, with plenty of bathrooms and seating on the porch. The host kindly gave us several throw blankets to drape around our shoulders as we sat outside. We called the house our villa because of its location and neighborhood. The front yard is filled with beautiful herbs, rosemary and mint. We would definitely stay here again. We did hear some noise from construction across the inlet, but it was minimal.

We are a British family with long ties to Mallorca through family and dear friends. Both my husband and I have been going to Mallorca since we were small children and now have Spanish and British family living across the island. We have 2 children and 2 dogs. We bought this house so that our children could have a home from home and build Mallorca memories just like my husband and I were lucky enough to do when we were young and Palma airport was no more than a hut. We chose Cala D'or because of the beautiful calas, the pretty white building and because it is close to our relatives but not too close! We were also very keen to have somewhere that the children could be free to come and go without us having to worry about them. They can go to the beach and the town with their friends and cousins and, as they get older, they will be able to go to bars, restaurants and even a few clubs and walk home without us worrying about their taking taxis on the Mallorca roads which can be very dangerous at night. Maybe one of our children will even end up getting married in the little white chapel by Cala D'or.....

Why they chose this property

We love this house because it has enough bedrooms to stuff full of friends and family and enough local activities (beach, town, marina etc.) that people can come and go without being reliant on cars or lifts. We can all enjoy each other's company without getting on each other's nerves! The house is great for all ages: It has a beautiful pool which can be easily seen from many parts of the house so children can play and parents can see them. The main terrace area can be closed off to keep smaller children away from the pool and we can also put an extra fence round the pool for increased small people safety. We have lots of baby equipment so that you don't need to travel heavy. Teens can come and go freely with a beach and town to entertain them and the adults can relax in style. We also have a downstairs bedroom so that the more mature visitor doesn't need to bother with stairs. It doesn't matter how old you are or what you like to do, there is something for everyone at the Beach House, and that is why we bought it!

What makes this property unique

We are right on the beach and the sea but the house is set far enough back that we can get away from the ruckus. There is a lovely ice-cream shop and bar at the bottom of the steps on the beach, some great places for jumping off the rocks in the Cala and a scuba diving centre at the back of the beach. The town has all sorts of shops and a great variety of restaurants. For something more upmarket, the marina is a 5 minute walk away across the little paths connecting the calas. There are also some gems of local restaurants in the villages and rural areas around Cala D'or. We like to horse ride and enjoy trips to Rancho Jaume in the national park just a 15 minute drive away. They will also come and pick you up from the villa if you book in advance. We love to walk and Mallorca is beautiful for walking in the winter, such a treat to have the Mondrago National park just up the road.
