Chandler House is a stone fronted mid-terrace nestled in the charming village of Castleton, within the Hope Valley. It boasts four bedrooms; a king-size double, a double, a small double and a single, sleeping seven people in total. The interior also offers a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, sitting room with woodburning stove and games room. To the outside is roadside parking available Mon- Fri and two free parking spaces in a public car park 'Peak Hotel' 3 mins walk away, as well as an enclosed garden at the rear with a patio and furniture. Chandler House promises a well-deserved break within the Peak District National Park.

Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, TV with Freesat. WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire/stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking available Mon- Fri, as well as free parking in public car park 'Peak Hotel' 3 mins walk (2 spaces). Enclosed garden at rear with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: No children under 5 years. Note: Check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am. Please note: this property will only accept a minimum 5-night stay between the 22nd and 25th of December 2025

Town: The Peak District village of Castleton is situated at the top of the Hope Valley. Steeped in history, the village boasts the Norman Peverill Castle Keep which is in a commanding position keeping an eye on the village and the National Park. It has an array of gift shops, food pubs and a Visitor Centre. Nearby are the villages of Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, Hope and Hathersage with its seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers or visit Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Also within easy reach are Buxton, Matlock Bath and Carsington Water.

Lovely Cottage

The house was immaculate, such attention to detail with the decoration. Would loved to have moved in. The owner was extremely nice and helpful and made our stay very special.
